where to begin.... 1) hey/hi/hello without a follow up of requesting an appointment 2) declining a shower when a man clearly needs one... 3)one thing I see ALL THE TIME, I am massaging a man who is laying on his stomach and there is plenty of lint between his butt cheeks!!!! It also smells like he hasn't brought his soapy hands there for months.. Worse yet, I had a client who left a (very large and noticeable) skid mark on my towel recently... gentlemen: you DO need to touch and wash your butt crack in the shower. 4) When the end of a session is near, or already there, and I, diplomatically, mention that we need to wrap up, and he says, "Oh! Do you have another client?" - would you ask this to any other professional? Your lawyer? Your RMT? Your piano teacher etc? No, you wouldn't. So why is it ok to ask your ma/sp? Whether or not I have another client is completely irrelevant - you have paid for X amount of time and that time is up. If I get labelled as a "clock watcher", so be it. I am VERY generous with my time to my regular clients who have demonstrated that they respect the time I am sharing with them. For the few gentlemen whom I share a mutually genuine connection with, this my way of giving back. My best regulars are never the ones who take advantage of me, nor my time in any way. I am a professional and will be treated as such.

Great thread! I've struggled with social anxiety during my life - and experimenting with eye contact has helped tremendously. It was definitely a science for me, especially while holding a conversation - look when speaking and being spoken to, when there's a conversation pause it is likely appropriate to look away but keep your body and head angled toward them, etc! All this to say, that that down-to-a-science understanding all started with holding eye contact with strangers, cashiers were particularly good targets to practice with. In a nutshell! I would say if my gaze crosses paths with someone, lock for one second, and move my gaze along.

When I first started working independently, I did offer 45 minute sessions. However, I noticed that almost all of my regular clients booked at least an hour. So I changed my minimum booking to one hour to enhance my chances of attracting clients who I share a mutual connection with. Business choice at the end of the day.

100% agree. There is no proper way to entice some who's first contact is "Hey", "How are you doing?", "how's your day?". It simply cannot be done, from my experience. They are looking to either ask crude questions or are not serious inquirers. My first few months, I would try different ways of responding to no avail. They are either not serious inquires or ask crude questions. Additional Comments: I'm going to have to try that one of these days when I'm feeling a little coy! Additional Comments: Just hang up the phone in that case, and block that number. You don't need to explain why. Doing so will only invite an unnecessary discussion, whereby they will most likely try to force you to accept them. The younger ones don't seem to grasp that our criteria for a client is not the same as our criteria for a real date, and take it personally... Next, in line!

MightyPen hit the nail right on the head. I am exceptionally open-minded and want clients to feel like the are in a judge-free space. I do however, avoid using this particular word in advertisements because I do think some men will interpret it as "open to extras".

Asking for services before booking a session is touchy... I personally, find it a little bit tacky. I prefer that a session feel more organic: for example if I kiss you passionately, it is safe to say that I enjoy doing so. YMMV is definitely something to appreciate: everyone's boundaries are different with each gentleman: please ask before trying anything that I have not explicitly invited you to do. I am a clear communicator, and expect the same from my clients. If a woman says don't do X, then don't do it. There is not such thing as an accident or misunderstanding in this case. You are sexually abusing her, plain and simple.vFor example, I once told a client, "Id love for you to X, but not Y". He went ahead and did Y anyhow. In that case, I no longer allowed him to even do X. Those are the consequences. Makes me VERY uncomfortable and upset. I consider myself to be socially graceful, but it leaves an elephant in the room for the rest of the session. Experiences like this make me appreciate my respectful clients even more so than I already do :). In conclusion, communication and respect are key!!
