Yes on Saturday evening they had a table setup outside the Champagne rooms with someone behind it. I was surprised to see this. This didn't affect the usual high mileage and exotic nature of dance at Pigale inside the Champagne room however as I don't think he is allowed to check out the Champagne rooms.

It is unfortunate that Pigale is closed Saturdays daytime even in the evening though officially they open at 7:00 but nothing is going on until much later on like 9 or 10:00 pm. I was there Friday afternoon. I counted about 8 ladies. The (party like) environment was nothing like a Friday afternoon at Barefax where we have stage dances one after another on a typical Friday afternoon and about two dozen young ladies. The first hour at Pigale between 4 to 5 pm was even boring but it got better after 5:00 but still not a variety of dancers. That said if you are referring to the private Champagne room dances then I agree completely. Nothing compares to Champagne room dances at Pigale day or even evening as my evening Champagne room dances on Saturday night was memorable too.

I was planning to spend my Saturday night at Barbarellas (though it was nothing like last Saturday night) but after a brief stay and watching three topless dancers (all three keeping panties on) and having private dances with two ladies I decided to cut my loses and head to Pigale again for a second day. It was a quiet start at 9:00 pm when I got to Pigale but soon after both the ladies and patrons started arriving. Tonight at Pigale I only find a few attractive ladies and one of them who I saw from a distance was a beautiful young girl (later I found out her name is Jamie) who was likely purposely standing under the light to show off her beauty and her shining very fair skin. I started looking at her and smiled and she walked towards me and sat next to me as I was sitting next to stage. Her name is Jamie from Toronto but originally she is Hungarian. She said she loves Ottawans because we are very nice. Jamie has a body which is a work of art. Slim and beautiful. She has a pair of small but very sexy and cute breasts kissing on which was allowed. Her skin is very fair and soft and very feminine. I took her to the Champagne room and she performed very well. I had great time with her. Jamie is highly recommended. She will be at Pigale in coming days. I also saw Nicole. Pretty face, very feminine, very fair and soft skin but in contrast Nicole has large body (not fat just large frame). She was doing quite well tonight and though she allows kissing but likely because of her large body she cannot demo very exotic shows in the Champagne rooms certainly not as exotic as Eva and Jamie could because of their sweet small bodies. Nicole gives standing private dances. Secret discovered!!! Tonight I also discovered the secret why Pigale was voted number 1 in the recent poll. In my view, it is not because the ladies are more beautiful. In my subjective view ladies at both Barbarellas and Barefax are more beautiful BUT because of Pigale's Champagne rooms. It is MOST exotic. My heart is still pounding from experiences I have had at Pigale's CR past two days (they always take me to the same large corner room where they can demo a very exotic show while lying down). Nothing extra or sexual as I am not into anything extra, just EXOTIC!!!!! and very private No other club match. In sharp contrast to Barbarellas and NuDen. Even Barfax don't match the exotic champagne room at Pigale not even by long shot. Try it gentlemen you won't regret it.

I broke the tradition of Barbarerllas and Barefax this Friday afternoon and decided to head to Pigale and see for myself what the fuss is all about (Pigale voted number 1 in a recent poll). I was disappointed for the first hour. Long breaks, two ebony ladies on stage the second was a topless stage dancer only and then as the clock approached 5 pm (only two ladies on stage between 4 to 5 pm) it started getting better with a young blonde lady named Ashley performing an exotic and energetic stage dance in her third song. Ashley clearly demonstrated that she cares about customer satisfaction rather than just walking on stage with her panties on as did the second dancer. Ashley is therefore recommended for private dance. Ashley is a pretty tall blonde. Ashley was followed by an even more exotic stage dance by another lady named Eva. Eva came to me before her stage dance started. Eva's stage dances was very exotic too as she climbed the pole and then widely opening her legs to turn on the audience. So I had no doubt that I wanted her in the Champagne room and reward her for her energetic exotic stage dance I went back to my car conveniently parked outside Pigale and took off my tie and jacket and came back casual and sat on a table (not on stage where I was before). Eva recognized me when I came back and being a very smart girl she realized the sign means ready for some private fun and only seconds passed that she was on my table and saying all the right things to turn me on, like how handsome I am and how exotic she is in the Champagne room. Well she was telling the truth about the latter as I took Eva downstairs and I wasn't disappointed. A very exotic private dance clearly demoing her kitty and limitless number of kisses on her cute face and lots of hugs too. She overtook Natalia at Barefax by thousand miles for private exotic dance while lying on her back and front widely opening her legs as my heart was pounding like a bird in a cage. Eva is highly recommended for those who enjoy exotic private dance and open mindedness. I wanted to reward Ashley too with private dances for her exotic stage dance but she disappeared. At the end I still would vote for Barbarellas and Barefax to be first followed now as a second choice by Pigale which btw was very quiet this Friday afternoon much quieter than both Barbs and Barefax for a Friday afternoon. Also the free buffet was good but did not much that of Barefax. Too bad they stopped serving buffet at the latter. However Pigale remains to be the only bar which serves free buffet (Supper) between 4:30 to 6:30 pm.

Seriously!!!!!!. I was there Saturday evening from 8:00 pm to 12:00 am, that is almost all Saturday night. Surely she didn't start after midnight did she?. How could I have possibly missed her????. Are we talking about the same Saturday evening (last Saturday May 13th)?. If my Cinderella was there and I didn't see her I will be very disappointed in myself (also need to see an optometrist soon).

Yes ladies have told me they were barred from certain bar or bars based on physical size (For example when they gained weight then they were asked to leave to another bar) of all races (mostly I heard from Caucasian ladies). Also I have heard a couple of times ladies barred because of wearing heavy tattoos. Also as expected ladies barred for breaking club rules. No I never heard anyone being barred based on hair color, breast size, fake breast, height or being Asian or Caucasian or Middle Eastern or Hispanic. I did hear once from an ebony lady that when she called to dance in a certain bar she was told not for that particular night (not barred) because there were a few ebony ladies already that night in that bar. You made however a very good point at the end. I am for example physically attracted to fair skin so in strip clubs I usually ask dancers with fair skin. This is my preference. I am absolutely NOT racist and I do not believe this preference makes me or anyone else a racist. I am sure there are gentlemen who are more attracted to ebony ladies or Hispanic or Middle Eastern or Asian ladies and usually see those ladies and they are not racist either for the same preference reason.

It was the Conservatives who imported the unconstitutional new laws and imposed them in a manipulative manner based on their backward ideology rather than facts or any evidence typical of former deposed government. Even though new laws didn't affect me personally but it is endangering the lives and livelihoods of many others. I may be off to Montreal (the City of heaven on earth) for a pre-summer vacation next week (as I would be busy with work summer time all months) so this maybe my last review for a while until June and less frequent posting afterwaess here though I may post on Merb on my SC adventures in Montreal.

Yes I a agree that Champagne rooms are not private at NuDen even upstairs CRs (at least not when I was going there before 2009). I also agree that NuDen does have a variety of great dancers since I had the pleasure to meet two of those dancers recently (and I am sure there are many more). one is Megan Dancer I had the pleasure only once at Barbarellas a couple of months ago and who is a very sweet young lady with soft fair skin and very pretty cute face. I had a memorable time with her even though it was only once. And the other I met this last Friday (Daisy) at Barefax (with a very beautiful face, tall and sexy body and friendly) who regularly dances at NuDen. I had a memorable time with her too.

I got into my car with the intention of heading to Pigale (as why I waited until 8:00 pm as Pigale is closed Saturday day time) but strangely enough my car decided to drive right into Wellington street rather than left into Portage bridge once I reached at the intersection!!!!. By doing so I broke my day time tradition and decided to try Barbarellas at night time and I am glad that I did. It was easy to find a parking in spite of construction so a good start. I arrived at 8:00 pm and was greeted by a beautiful blonde waitress with friendly smiling face. Then a beautiful young lady came over and sat with me. I am highly recommending the following Barbarellas evening ladies most of who I met for the first time (I am a day time person): Georgia - A very friendly young lady with a very pretty face with dimples and very soft fair skin and very soft relatively short hair with beautiful color and originally from Montreal. We chatted for a while before heading to Champagne Room and in the Champagne room as it is typical of almost all Barb evening dancers she was on the conservative side in the CR however when on stage when I put a small tip for her she gave me an exotic demo of herself all nude and beautiful with smiling face. Great young lady. Highly recommended. Maria - She is very cute with a unique face. She is originally from Egypt and is not shy approaching people. She well qualifies as a spinner (small and sweet) and very very friendly with very cute face and lovely black hair and soft fair skin (yes she does have fair skin and she is from Egypt!!!!). She maybe quite conservative in the Champagne room (the panties stayed on even after 3 songs in the CR!!!!) but very friendly and gave exotic stage dance in her third song. I loved my time with her in the CR. She reminded me a lot of Phoenix in the beauty department and complexion who I looked for but didn't see tonight. Maria is Highly recommended. Anna - Portuguese originally and a bit darker in skin department. She is very friendly and chatted with me for a long time so I took her to the CR for a brief private dance. Nice small cute boobs and nice stage dance too. Alexis - The best of the best certainly in the skin department. Snow white spotless and tattooless skin and very soft like velvet and very beautiful tall brunette. Maybe somewhat conservative in the Champagne room but who can blame her with those looks. Alexis wins the Platinum among all other Gold medalists this evening in my book in the looks department ahead of all the beauties this evening. I stole a few kisses on her lovely skin and face and lots of hugs as well. Very highly recommended if you love beauty and don't mind relative conservatism in the CR. Leyla - She was the only day time dancer and the only girl I knew tonight. Originally Lebanese, she has soft relatively fair skin, cute face. Not a spinner but not fat either. Friendly and the only evening dancer allowing lots of kisses and only one who took her panties off in the CR in second song. I looked for Sammie the total sweetheart (the beautiful very friendly long hair natural blonde who loved hugs and kisses) but she wasn't in tonight. I have reviewed Sammie in a separate thread asking for her. She is like Cinderella to me. We were very compatible. Any info on her is highly appreciated. Someone in the thread asked for Katrina. Yes she arrived just after 8 pm and was there until mid night when I left. I can see why many may be looking for her as she is a lovely brunette. Barbarellas got crowded after 11:00 pm. At midnight there was no vacant table or even a chair if you arrive then. Stage dancing were exotic by most and without breaks. More than half (likely as much as two-thirds) entertained audience with nude stage dancing though not so in the Champagne rooms (among those who danced for me) unless you wish to keep them for 3 songs or more (except Layla). All ladies were young, classy and beautiful and they are all recommended. Barbarellas can (for whatever reason) attract the most attractive ladies in town. I personally don't mind too much the panties on in the CR for 2-3 songs by some likely most evening ladies when they can so decisively make up for it with their absolute beauties. I had a great time tonight and being a fan of variety it was also great to meet new ladies. If you love beauty and youth then you would love Barbarellas day time or night time. Barbarellas and Barefax are both as close as one can get to heaven in living life.

Ashley is a regular at Playmates. I am surprised you say you haven't seen her there for a while!!!! as she is almost always there day and (Saturday) night. She was there yesterday too and likely every day. That is if we are talking about the same Ashley, middle age, slim, spinner, long hair who has been at Playmates past 8 to 10 years? I don't take dances with her myself but yes I have heard she is quite a dancer in the Champagne room!!! so likely we talk about same lady.

I talked to Brandy yesterday at Playmates. I asked her the exact same question. She said she now dances at Playmates and she likes dancing at Playmates a lot more than Barbarellas as the former is a lot more flexible (the word she used not sure what she meant maybe flexible in working hours?). She said she still visits Barbarellas once a month (likely to see a regular or some other reason not sure) but from now on she dances at Playmates regularly. She dances Wednesday to Friday and day time.

This is very true. Maybe the Original post should have been more moderate without slamming the bar but a warning post is likely useful (his second post) for those frequenting this particular bar in case a similar scenario happens to someone else (like if the server took a $20 or $50 from you in this bar and said she has no change then the reader must claim his money back until she is back with the necessary change rather than giving the money and hoping the server would return). I agree that the entire bar should not have been condemned even though I personally never go to this particular bar but I don't wish to see ladies there affected adversely by the possible unethical actions of one individual. It is also important to remember that it is not established if she made an honest mistake or if she did it on purpose.

My intention was to spend this Friday afternoon at Playmates but my stay at Playmates was brief so at 3:00 pm I left to downtown and had to park close to King Edwards thanks to City's occupation of the parking lot next to Barefax. However it was all worth it as I really enjoyed my time both stage shows and private dances and the followings are the highlights. Enjoyed Cloe's stage dance. she has danced for me before. She has snow white skin and I love touching and kissing that skin. Not a spinner by definition but definitely sexy. Seriously my heart was pounding watching Tamika's stage dance. Then it comes the best of the best (Daisy) as I was out of touch with this world with my thoughts on Tamika's stage dance I noticed someone moving towards me. I looked up and saw a real angel smiling at me. She asked me if she could sit with me (Is the Pop catholic) and we headed to the Champagne room. Her name is Daisy. She has the most beautiful face like an angel. She is a tall very sexy lady and she has the sexiest most beautiful kitty. She may be a bit (relatively) conservative in the CR but who can blame her with those very top looks and who cares really. I had great time with her. I enjoyed her stage dances too and I tipped her twice while she was on stage and she came close to personally thank me while dancing both times. At the end I notice Natalia sitting by herself and we sometimes chat as she knows a lot about me which I don't even remember telling her in the past. She is by no means a spinner but nevertheless has a cute face but what distinguishes her from others is that she always performs exotic stage dancing for those sitting next to stage and I always reward her with small tip. Today she didn't come to stage during my stay so I decided to take her to the Champagne room and she gave the most exotic private show in the second song while lying down. I highly recommend her for private dances if you love exotic private shows. She is also very friendly. At the end around 5:30 I suddenly realized that I am starving (I was so into stage and private dances that I forgot I haven't had anything for over 12 hours). I ordered food from menu (from next door as it was mentioned before since Barefax no longer serves supper). The food was good (much better than Barbarellas's food for sure and more expensive but who cares) but it took 45 minutes to arrive and I timed it as I was really hungry. While I was having my supper, I saw a newly arrived lady on stage. Her name was skyla or skylar not sure but I saw her from a distance and she had a very pretty face and lovely curly blonde hair. Unfortunately it was time for me to leave as she went upstairs right after her stage show which btw the audience loved and cheered loudly for private dances and I had to get home and already exhausted my wallet for the day. However I definitely have her in mind for my next visit. It was a party like environment with over two dozen patrons and another two dozen ladies, All ladies at Barefax deserve recommendations (in fact all ladies in all bars deserve recommendation), but I don't remember all the names as I was like in another world totally cut off with this world while in there at Barefax this afternoon. But Please come out and share the heaven with all these angels. You can't get any closer to heaven in living time.

So back to the thread title now that the polls are closed: Pigale - Best bar in NCR Barbarellas - Best bar in Ottawa Barefax as close second best And Playmates third best in Ottawa.

I did acknowledge that I may have it backwards so why the comment!!!!. I have no quarrel with Kilt boy or anyone else on this forum. My purpose for being here on this forum is to promote deserving dancers and encourage more support for the bars and also let the members know who the angels are so that they can share the joy and pleasure I am having. In other thread I acknowledged that he is an established member and highly respected on this board and we even have same friends (dancers) at Barbarellas but this doesn't mean I have to give up my own opinions (say on cameras at Barbarellas) and adopt his!!!!. We are just debating various subjects and that is what this forum is for. It is natural that we may have different views and be interested in different girls otherwise if we all believe in same things and like the same girls then why have a forum for debates and recommendations?

As I said your right, your choice and your loss as you deprive yourself of highest quality dancers in Ottawa who work at Barbarellas only. But please don't spread false info or exaggerated rumors about the bar or put words in my mouth. One of the main bars (the other being Pigale) which has relaxed traditional nude stage dancing is Barbarellas and I have been defending this bar vigorously and never said I boycott any bar as that would have been childish and I only shoot myself in the foot and my recommendation of dancers in this bar is as recent as last weekend. To guardian- you are right but I was referring to highest quality dancers at Barbarellas not the staff who I am also not particularly fond off especially evening bouncers.

I may have but only time can tell. One thing is for sure. I loved the buffet (best) and the bar will lose most of my business. I will however still drop by once a month to see my favorite dancers and make up for lost time as I don't wish to see them pay a price for the management out of no fault of their own

Yes thank you I have read the first post but I believe the first post is a hearsay rather than an evidence (not an event witnessed by the OP himself). First post is saying that more than one person have told the OP that the owner has shown them past video of them ON HIS PHONE (no suggestion that bouncers have videos on their cell phones) regarding some transgression in the champagne room that he wants explained. Also I don't see reading bouncers walking around with videos recorded of private dances on their cell phones in the first post or subsequent posts. So please lets stick to the facts as what was said. As I said by all means it is your choice and option to boycott this bar but as I am sure we all agree you will lose on lots of fun with highest quality dancers in Ottawa at Barbarellas Many of whom have been very highly recommended by various well established and highly respected members on this forum like the OP himself. The very same ladies who gave you so much pleasure and joy in the past will lose money or not making enough in an already slowing business for no fault of their own as a result of likely exaggerated rumors. And as hopeful said this popular bar is going to be around only for a short little while.

This is a wrong strategic move by Barefax management. The crowd was already small even on Friday afternoons and instead of creating incentives to attract crowd they actually remove incentives!!!!!!.

Possible positive uses of cameras at Barbarellas: Hopeful in his post is quite correct. That is what I have heard from several girls how these cameras are used for at Barbarellas, that is to settle disputes. And yes this happens as I never forget I was charged $100 for 2 songs a few years ago (I wish I was aware of these cameras then). So if true then good to speak up as this is a positive use of cameras for sure. Also it is possible that some customers are or become aware of these cameras and may behave themselves as these cameras may act as deterrent whether intended or not (a very tiny minority who otherwise may misbehave) so this is another possible positive use of cameras. Also it may provide a sense of security (true or false not sure) for ladies who dance there. I am also guessing that the ladies can decline unrealistic demands (again by a very tiny minority) citing the cameras as the reason if they wish. Protection of ladies is first and foremost and if these cameras improve the protection level even by one bit then I am all for it. I have also heard that ladies have been fired in this bar in the past for pushing the limits set by the bar. I suspect cameras may have played a role in this. I do not like the latter use at all That said however, several reliable dancers have told me (whom I know for long time and trust) that it is very unlikely that the owner would abuse the cameras and show the videos in public (the exact wording was he would never do that). Barbarellas is a great bar (it was top second in recent popularity poll next to Pigale and first among Ottawa bars) mainly because they can attract great looking girls and its downtown location. It is of course your option and choice to exercise by all means but I personally will never boycott this bar because of cameras since if I do then I lose a lot on a lot of great dancers who only work at barbarellas. However, I am single (I fully understand married gents have to be more cautious).

You may have a good point thepartypegeon that bars may be making more money as they may attract more customers. By increasing the price to $20 overnight in 2001 they drove themselves and some dancers out of business. First because many surpassed their affordability so they quit coming to strip bars and second because the $20 per song price for 3-4 minute dance raise overnight could not compete with existing better and less expensive alternatives like escorts and masseuses a phone call away as many patrons (not all and certainly not me) prefer seeing them to dancers who will in all likelihood offer much higher mileage and in some cases at lower prices. I think a small gradual rise would have been more appropriate. All that said though if I recall correctly the $10 songs were no contact (nothing like what we have in Ottawa now) and back in year 2000. Since then there has been some 30% to 40% inflation not to mention that rents and housing has been doubled at the least. It won't be fair on ladies to slide back the prices to 15 years ago. Just imagine how devastating it would be for us if our incomes are scaled back to year 2000 level!!!. One might argue and say with $10 ladies may receive much more dances and hence make more yes it is possible but in my view not likely as I for one won't take table dances or non-contact dancing or any dances not involving hugs and kisses and affection even at $10 because all the fun is taken away. But that is just me and I am guessing many other patrons too.

Tipping the lady while on stage and/or smiling always works too and she will very likely notice you. If you wish to put icing on the cake then offer the lady a drink of her choice when she comes and sits with you if you really like her. Dressing up for occasion may help too but likely not as effective as above. I say this because I noticed that when I go to clubs after work (in tie and suit) I get noticed sometimes a lot more than weekends when I dress casual (and I always shower before going to the clubs weekends as ladies love freshly showered clean companion). Even the Champagne room dances when dressed up (with the same lady even) becomes more interesting!!.

It is important to know at this moment the majority of nude dancers entertain audience with nude stage dancing. Only at a couple of bars the nude part of dancing has been relaxed. Also there are a proportion of dancers who go extra ways to entertain patrons on stage but putting efforts and energy into their dances. I am suggesting that those sitting next or close to stage or even far from stage please reward those ladies (or even all who entertain you with nude dances) with a small ($5 or $10) bill on stage for her during or right after her stage dance. Doing so for a few selected dancers wouldn't cost much and since different patrons have different preferences then many dancers will be encouraged to perform best and rewarded as well and wouldn't regard stage dancing as a have to performed task or waste of their time. Just a suggestion. I have always had problems with ladies not being paid by the bars for stage dancing and totally understand their (some) reluctance and feel very bad for those not making money in the clubs. It is not fair to work and not been paid.
