I am glad you have enjoyed the discussions CarpeDiem and you are most welcome and thank you everyone for your participation in the discussions and the polls.

The poll will end soon as I think I set it for 5 days last Tuesday and the final result is: 1 - Pigale wins the Gold medal as the Champion with close to 40% of the votes cast. 2 - Barbarellas wins Silver and comes a distant second with about 25% of the votes. 3 - Barefax wins Bronze and comes third with over 15% of the votes cast. Please gentlemen support your local bars and the angels who work in them who are there to show you the doors to heaven.. Ottawa has the best strip clubs in North America (because they can attract the best dancers) so help them to remain open by visiting them as often as you can and take the angels to the Champagne rooms as they have to pay bar fees and transportation all because they wish to show you the doors to heaven.

So when is she leaving for a trip? I have had the pleasure with Adora on a few occasions. She always comes and says hello to me and on occasions sitting with me and chatting for a long while even those times that I wasn't taking her to Champagne room for private dances. She is very friendly classy and pretty brunette with great smile and cute face. I was hoping to see her again soon.

It was a quiet afternoon at Barbs as I was expecting (because of rain likely). I recognized the following dancers: Harley, Juice, Natasha, Joy, Jenna and two other ladies. About half a dozen to a dozen patrons. I had dances with Harley (already reviewed in a separate thread especially for her) and another lady who I used to take dances 2 years ago (Juice) a lovely young blonde late 20's or early 30's not sure and we chatted for a long while about various subjects before heading to Champagne room. Juice has a very fair skin (well she is a natural blonde) and very soft natural blonde hair and is quite intelligent. I found her compatible as she loves Hugs and Kisses. Both Harley and Juice gave very entertaining dances on stage even though it was very quiet and I felt that they deserved to be rewarded with private dances. Both dancers I spoke to also commented about lack of business recently so gentlemen please drop by this heaven and support the angels. The food (from upstairs) however is getting worse by day. I used to order from upstairs but will not anymore. I ordered stake last time (because Cheese burger was becoming like leather gloves) and it tasted nothing like stake and pizza this time (in which pepperoni was half burned and tasted awful). There were stage dancing with fair frequencies (having short breaks). All except one dancer entertained the patrons with nude dances on the stage.

I saw this lovely lady this afternoon and had the pleasure of spending some time with her. Someone in this thread asked about her working hours at Barbs. Harley is working Thursdays between 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm (if you prefer to see her in the evenings) and Saturday afternoons between 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Catch her while you can as she will be around for a couple of more months but this angel will fly away soon from Ottawa. H & K

I don't see any point in continuing this out of respect for members and the board just to say briefly that if you had opinions to the contrary (which is fine as 30% did) then you should have posted them in a mature civilized manner by sharing them what those opinions are and with reasons as others did WITHOUT attacking those who may differ with yours (70% of membership) and without accusing them so falsely of claiming male entitlement or owning a dancer or forcing a dancer or being disrespectful or wanting a vaginal inspection!!!. Things that nobody and no one ever said even remotely in any of the posts.

You need to read the posts carefully before commenting. Nobody is claiming male entitlement or forcing a dancer or demand rules or claims that he owns dancers as YOU claimed in your posts that we had. These are character assassination of myself and the majority who commented or voted to agree. I did also clarified it is a trend (after realizing that I mistakenly called it a policy in my first post title but I was unable to edit the title) but you likely purposely decided to ignore my clarification. It is regrettable that an interesting thread on a very positive board and interesting poll results meant to gauge opinions should be so blatantly sabotaged in such manner by twisting the facts about what has been said and false allegations by someone who has admitted he almost never posts or cares about sharing his experiences on this board!!!!!!.

The twisting of the facts of what has been said in this thread into false allegations and lies in order to gain popularity with some dancers or a few members by pretending to be a defender of women's rights (at the expense of others) and linking the topic to women's rights of choice (or the false allegations suggesting that this thread is somehow forcing them into doing something against their will or demand rules on dancers) or anyone saying that they own a dancer (which nobody even remotely said that) or false allegations of male entitlement or resembling watching a nude dancer on stage same as vaginal inspection (GROSS and disrespectful) is what is unfortunate, disturbing and creepy. Basically this thread carries a poll asking patrons whether they agree or disagree with a recent trend (not a rule or policy) that some dancers don't take off their panties on stage in a strip bar (or in the Champagne rooms for first or even second song to prolong private dance) . The original post also made it clear that if it was a lady's choice then i would have fully supported it but it is for economic reasons which a few examples were provided. I am now forced to provide more extensive real life examples: Among those examples were cases when I asked several dancers on different occasions as why they didn't take off their panties on stage and they all told me they will in the Champagne room but wish to keep the audience curious. Another example is another dancer who told me straight that if patrons wish to see more then they have to pay for it in the Champagne room. Another example when I took a dancer who didn't take off her panties on stage to the Champagne room (At first I refused but later i took her when she told me she is not shy about taking off her panties) she offered me using my cell flashlight (which I instantly refused) if I pay more (double) after she took off her panties. I have NEVER come across a case when a dancer did not take off her panties and told me it was because it was her choice or out of shyness in which case I would have unconditionally supported her choice. If anyone has a true example when a dancer told him that it is her choice or that she is too shy or uncomfortable or does this against her will on stage or Champagne room then please share those example(s). Another logic I used was the fact that some dancers leave panties on in the Champagne rooms for the first or even second song and take it off later in private dance if the patron decides to keep her long enough. So they are only shy or uncomfortable for the first and second song?? It has been a choice to work in a strip bar same as a taxi driver choosing to drive a taxi (even though he may hate driving in the city) or a software engineer may hate to use computers or a construction worker to have to work in the cold and heat on the site. These are all choices but most of us will have to do as part of the job descriptions. In spite of that I repeat in bold letters that i (and likely all those who voted yes they agree) fully respect women's choice (if that was what it was) and it comes first and foremostt as we ALL support a women's right to choose so please stop twisting and manipulating what has been said and voted on in order to score points at the expense of making a majority look bad.

I believe the poll will close soon (If I remember correctly I set it for 5 days after the opening of the thread), so it may be your last chance to vote but many participated in the poll and the result so far over 40 members voted (likely ends this way too) the number of voters who agree panties should come off on stage in a strip bar is more than 5 times higher than those who think panties doesn't have to come off (28 to 5 to be exact) and for 8 people it didn't matter either way. in other words close to 70% of voters (likely patrons) believe panties should come off on stage in a strip bar and few have commented they will stop going to strip bars if panties on becomes a common policy. Likely the number of strip bar patrons will be reduced to one-third of the historic low numbers that it is now (in other words likely closure of most if not all strip bars), Thank you for your participation. I haven't been to NuDen in 7-8 years but at that time most of the time I was in upstairs Champagne rooms whenever I was taking private dances. Nothing special about it as a large room seen easily from the hallway next to it where there can be heavy traffic sometimes (and on one occasion a bouncer walking by and seeing me and a dancer mutually kissing on faces and he walked in and said in an aggressive way no kissing and I boycotted this bar since). The fairly large Rooms upstairs also was shared by two dancers separated only by a half wall. So if both taken there was no privacy at all. Also because it was large the dancers were dancing at a distance most of the time hard to reach in contact dances. NuDen is not doing well in the recent poll here so likely they are still the same as above but If they have changed since then please let us know. I am interested too.

Yeah Pigale is winning BIG time!!!!. I have to try it more often. Not sure why they are closed Saturday day time. With so much popularity they very likely do much better than Barbs, Barefax and certainly Taboo which and all are open Saturday day time and Taboo is just across the street from Pigale. Lazy staff or they feel they won't get any business so why Taboo across the street does?

Thanks for your comments and votes ladies and gentlemen. To be honest I never thought or even anticipated that Pigale could be so popular. So far almost half the total votes have been cast for Pigale (45%)!!!!. Maybe I should switch to Pigale from Barefax for my Friday afternoons!!!. Please continue with voting and comments. It is quite interesting and educational too.

In my view the best known clubs in NCR are Barbarellas, Barefax, Pigale, Playmates, NuDen and Taboo. There could be two more I haven't been past 10 years and they are not well known. So what is the best one in terms of (these are my factors to consider as assets but you may have different factors) 1 - Quality of ladies (looks and age are number 1 factor in my book) 2 - Quality of Champagne room dances (open or private Champagne rooms, panties on (or off) policy till the end of first/second song). 3 - Quality of stage dances (visibility of dancers and panties on/off policy). 4 - The environment (friendly, staff attitudes, family club feeling) 5 - Cost but it is all almost the same in all these clubs like $20 private dance and drinks more or less same but free buffet helps. And base on above factors this is my ranking 1 - Barefax (having young beautiful ladies with private Champagne rooms and good environment and good to very good qualify of Private dances and good quality of stage dances. The daily free buffet (twice a day) helps scoring high on environment). 2 - Barbarellas (having young even more beautiful ladies but with open Champagne rooms and a passing environment though not so cool staff in my view and fair quality of private dances in spite of open Champagne rooms with cameras in it but good quality of stage dances in spite of few keeping panties on and daily noon buffet once daily. Buffet is not as free as barefax cost very little). 3 - Playmates (having older not as beautiful ladies as above two bars but much higher mileage in semi-private Champaign rooms but good to very good quality of private dances (not to mention the upstairs option for those who wish more, but for me this is no advantage). Good to very good quality of stage dancing too. Also Scores high on environment as most patrons and girls know each other for years but not the classiest bar so scores low on the latter. Free buffet once a week on Wednesday noon time only). 4 - Pigale (They score high on quality of dancers though in my view not as high as Barbs, Fax or NuDen. The Champagne room dancers are very good quality and private so scoring real high there and stage dancing is fair as recently some dancers keep panties on especially on second stage which opens up after 10:00 pm. The environment is fair as nobody knows nobody really though too noisy late at night. Free buffet every weekday. The fact that they are closed Saturday daytime makes me to rank them lower than they deserve). 5 - NuDen (I can't really judge this one well but they do have young beautiful ladies so score high on this but quality of stage dances and private dances are real low in my view because of up-the-hill stage and the very open Champagne rooms. I boycotted this club about 7-8 years ago when the bouncer asked me to stop kissing (and the kissing was mutual with complete dancer's seal of approval. I also never like the environment). 6 - Taboo (scoring below average on quality of dancers though you may find exceptions sometimes and not as many stage dancing as other clubs because it is not busy most of the time so scoring low on stage dances even though it is panties off club during stage dance as yet but quality of Champagne room dances the likely the highest in NCR. Environment is fair to poor not classy. I personalty don't like the big bearded guy who was a bouncer a decade ago and is back as the DJ now. Slightly cheaper drinks). I like to conduct a poll so that we all see how you feel. I made the poll a single choice as there can be only one best but if you wish to also rank a second and third best then like myself above you can post in this thread with your choices and reasons. So my vote goes with Barefax but a very close second is Barbarellas. Thank you in advance for your participation.

Just to clarify it is not a rule that dancers keep their panties on but rather the old rule that dancers have to take panties off in the third song has been relaxed at some bars like Barbarellas and Pigale (and even Barefax where a few waited until last 3 seconds to bring down panties a bit) and some dancers take advantage of that and leave the stage after all three songs with their panties on and patrons wait for long to see someone on stage and become disappointed and some may leave and the bar remains empty and dead and dancers don't make money so they are all interconnected. and not good for anybody not the dancers, not the bar and certainly not the patrons. This may eventually lead to they all becoming topless bars only. Empty topless bars and closing down soon one by one.

Yes they will. I think at Playmates too they have panties off policy though in a few of cases dancers waited till the last second. Same at Barefax. Taboo is the only one where all dancers take off panties completely and early in the third song as it used to be before in all clubs. So far as I expected over 80% of respondents have agreed that in the strip bars panties should come off on stage. That is quite an statistics that may likely send a clear message to these clubs, Barbs and Pigales in particular. I wished I had asked the question as how many would stop going to strip bars if all clubs relax the panties rule or impose a panties on rule in strip clubs.

At least we both agree it is not good for dancing industry. Yes strip bars dying because day by day they are becoming more and more conservative and costly. First a ban on smoking and then the open Champagne rooms both of above imposed by the City and now the club themselves relaxing the rules on panties and shooting their own businesses. These days with internet and the $20 per 3 to 4 minutes private dance (for which sometimes you have to pay $40 to $60 to see it all) there are much more cost effective alternatives and better options only a phone call away and though myself I am not into masseuses or escorts but many strip bar patrons are or will be. Strip dancing is going on for decades and never heard of sanitary issues (so why same sanitary reason does not apply in the Champagne rooms then as they all take it off there??) and as I mentioned if it was based on a dancers' choice rather than economic reasons I would have for sure respected and supported that.

For a Friday night (at Pigales and Barbarellas) it is usually about half and half lately. I am surprised that all of the stage dancers didn't take off the panties. Maybe it is the new rules and you are not alone I would think many will stop going to these bars who are changing into a topless bar instead and likely resulting in losing even a lot more business and either cutting down more in opening hours or shutting down completely. In other words they will be shooting themselves in the foot if this is a new trend at Pigale or Barbarellas.

You are right and this happens quite often at Barbarellas too. I think Barefax and Playmates have rules that panties should come off in the last song but even there sometimes a few dancers wait until the last few seconds and then only partially to take panties off. If it was a choice I would have agreed with it as women's choice overrules everything else but these ladies have chosen to dance in a strip bar (not a topless bar) and I have reasons to believe (after talking to a few dancers) that reasons has to do more with economics not choice. There appears to be a new trend in Ottawa strip bars that some dancers come on stage sometimes after a long break and a long wait by patrons around the stage and they still keep their panties on after three songs. This is not for sure going to help with dying strip bar business as it can be sometimes frustrating and bores the audience enough that they leave. After all these bars are not topless bars but STRIP bars!!!!!. . Correct me if I am wrong but I do not believe the new laws as stupid as they are, they do not ban strip dancing on stage or watching nude dancers as long as there is no contact with patrons. Pigale and Barbarellas appear to be mostly the bars that some dancers are allowed to keep the panties on while on stage for all three songs. I think Barefax and Playmates and Taboo still enforce the rule (I don't know about NuDen as I haven't been there for Years). Even in these bars quite a few wait until the last few seconds to partially take off the panties!!!!. When I asked a few dancers for the reason they told me they wish to keep the audience curious and one told me if they wish to see more they have to take us to the Champagne rooms!!. To make the matter worse most dancers now even keep their panties on for the first song in the Champagne room as well and a few even to the end of second song so yeah if you wish to see more then you have to pay at least $60 for some dancers. The reason being that they wish to keep the patron curious so that they are kept for more songs. So it is the economics in most cases if not all and not a shyness factor or personal choice otherwise in latter case I would have had no objection. I personally don't mind too much for the the first song panties on policy but those few who keep the panties on till the third song I boycott them for private dance no matter how much I may like them. I decided to try this bar first time in months (the last time I left after 30 minutes disappointed how dead it was). I think that they have learned their lesson and from start (soon after 1:00 pm) they started stage dancing (there used to be no girls sent to stage until 3:00 pm on Saturdays and then one or two stage dance per hour after 3:00). So customers stayed on and ordered drinks and I noticed many chose to go to the Cleopatra style Champagne rooms (for some). Anyhow at 3:00 I counted about 10 ladies (not bad for a Saturday in Taboo) about 7 being ebony ladies and maybe equal number of customers but usually customers come here to take dances. Not the classiest bar or largest but nevertheless one still surviving strip bar in NCR. I took dances with a lady named Till (or Teel not sure but I hope I heard it right). She has short hair with slightly tanned skin and the sides of her head shaven and body full of tattoos (not usually my style) but she had cute face may be in mid or late 20's so while she was on stage I signaled her that I like her (flagged her with a $5 bill on stage in her third song and this flag is very effective as after dance they come straight to you with a hug and kiss). Panty off immediately in the CR as soon as the first song started in her case and I rewarded her with 4 more songs. Same story with a new girl from Montreal by the name of Diamond (the effective flag worked on her too as she rushed to me after her stage dance with hugs and kisses). She is a slim tall brunette in mid 20's with cute face, slim tall sexy body, very small boobs and soft fair skin. She gave me Montreal style dances (panty on for both songs) and even though I stopped after two songs but I had good time with her as she didn't mind lots of hugs and kisses. There was another blonde (with her hat on all the time!!) who appeared very friendly (smiling at a distance all the time) but I never got a chance as she was busy taking and dancing between 1:00 to 3:00 and she didn't go on stage either during my stay to be flagged!!.

A relatively quiet Friday afternoon at Barefax today. usually at summer times strip bars are quieter but closing the parking area in the main square in front of Barefax likely by the City (or for sure City's permission) did not help either. It appears that the City by their actions keep on hurting businesses everywhere around Ottawa!!!. At 4:00 pm there were about a dozen and a half patrons. Maybe a few less at 5:00. I recognized and remember Emily, Tiffany, Maria, Natalia, Sally, Skyla, Ellaina or Allaina, Trina, Jayda. Maria was sitting with a customer all the time and after I came down from Champagne room she was gone (likely upstairs). Two new ladies I hadn't seen before. Skyla was a cute young spinner girl with blonde/brown hair and a very cute brunette by the name of Vellisa (I asked her if her name is Mellisa but she confirmed that it is Vellissa) . Among all above I chose Vellisa as the one to have dances with in the Champagne room. It was her very cute face and lovely body and long pitch black hair who attracted me. I am glad I did as she loved hugs and kisses and I had great time with her. After the dance she paid her bar fee and left (likely because she wasn't making any money). She was visiting from Montreal so not sure if she will be back again. She is originally Cuban which reminds me that I should change my next winter plans from visiting Philippines to Cuba instead as I have seen many lovely ladies from Cuba both in Montreal and Ottawa. They are really cute brunettes. Anyhow I was sad to see Vellisa leaving and the fact that many ladies were not making money made me unhappy so I left too soon after. I may sound like a broken record but please gentlemen come out and support your few remaining bars and the ladies who have to pay a bar fee and transportation (as some come from other cities). They need your support especially during quiet summer months.

I know Lana for many years since when she was dancing at Taboo. She is one very friendly lady, small and sweet and very open minded too. Her oriental background and face makes her unique in every bar they go as oriental dancers are very rare in Ottawa.

No Tasha is not Franchesca. I know both but Tasha is the one regularly dancing for me. Younger and having natural blonde hair with a baby face. She used to be Leyla at Taboo and only have danced in two clubs never at Barbs.

I don't go to Pigales much and that is because my day out is mostly Saturday daytime and they are closed and for Friday I prefer Barefax than anywhere else not only because the buffet is best but also because it is a cozy bar with most private Champagne rooms in Ottawa area. That said I have been to Pigales a few times past year and my favorite there is Tasha. Tasha is a very cute natural blonde with a very pretty baby face and small body. I know her for several years since the time she was dancing across the street from Pigale and I recommended Pigale to her 2 years ago to be a more suitable place for her. She is very friendly and very compatible with me as she loves hugs and kisses in the Champagne room.

She has been in Canada only a year but speaks fluent English with little accent and unlike many other Russians I have met in my life she is a very intelligent and very classy, very friendly, sociable and yes very pretty blonde Russian. She is very cute, short and sweet (she is tall at the bar though) with wavy long blonde hair in her early to mid 20's and loves hugs and kisses. She usually have regulars who come to Barbs to take her to Champagne room for a long time so whenever she comes she looks around for her regulars first before coming to me (I am a fan of variety. I see many and none really as a single regular for long time dance). Catch her while you can as she maybe in her last couple of months at Barbs. She dances daytime. Saturdays for sure.
