  1. Introverts are winning the pandemic
  2. Of course this topic is presuming that any of us considered ourselves sane in the first place.....
  3. @SarahAlexxx you just can't help but look adorable can you
  4. I've been collecting free courses the past couple of months from Udemy. They put together a package of freebies for Covid 19 available here: Free Udemy Also, if you're not familiar with Redflagdeals... they list other free Udemy courses as they come up. It's a great Canadian Deals resource. The Forums are a goldmine. Redflagdeals Enjoy!
  5. Just remember, the government really just wants your tax money. They don't actually give a damn where it comes from as long as you're reporting it. The "self employed" section is pretty vague. I have 0 "proof" of how much I actually make, so it's basically just plugging in numbers, and paying ridiculous amounts of tax haha
  6. Definitely look into it, you can be "self employed" and not have a registered business, but instead claim self employed income on your taxes. You can also be self employed and really not make any money. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  7. This thread is starting to get a little out of hand, especially for a "positive focused" forum. In the end everyone participating in this forum is an adult, and allowed to make their own choices about their risk levels and their health. We are all anxious about what is going on right now globally but this is no excuse for the lack of respect and shaming I've seen going on in this thread.
  8. Theres always Chloe https://www.leolist.cc/personals/female-escorts/nova-scotia/truro_chloe_outcalls_in_new_glasgow_truro-5828800
  9. Hey folks, I'm posting this here to stave off the eventual addition to the kijiji thread wondering if she's actually professional Yup, as stated, this is purely a professional massage. I didn't bring up anything to "check" but from her ad, her demeanor and her setup, including her "spa scrubs" type uniform, this is totally a legit professional massage. So please be professional with her if you contact her. The other reason I'm posting is because it's unlike any massage I've ever had. It seems to be akin to the southeast Asian type super rough massages that I've seen on tv, like on the Amazing race when they go for a massage and then basically get the shit kicked out of them. http://cyberspaceandtime.com/2U8eO8Bpo94.video That video clip will give you an idea. I didn't get my feet done but my gosh she was all over my back. Ive gone to RMTs monthly off and on for 12 years, so I'm used to a deep tissue massage and tiny RMTs that pack a punch, but this was off the charts. She climbed onto the table on top of me a few times and shoved her elbow with the full weight of her body behind it into every tight knot she could find. I'm not a big fan of pain, but I have a pretty high tolerance, especially on my back. I have shoulder and back issues and I've never had anyone be able to really dig in that deep and rough before and I feel amazing afterwards. There were a couple of times that I almost had to tap out, but I didn't because I wanted to get those muscles released. So take it from me, if you want to experience a rough Asian massage that will definitely push your pain tolerance limits, including her mashing your temples and digging into your eye sockets, I highly recommend giving her a go. I'm not being funny or sarcastic for a change, she was really great and my shoulders/back hasn't felt this loose in years. I stuck this post here and not under reccos because she is not providing any sort of "happy endings" or anything like that. This is a sweet girl who packs a punch and offers a service that I haven't seen here before. Also, she is way under-charging IMHO. $70/90 minutes of backbreaking agony/relief!!
  10. Anyone else have a pretty hefty case of the "End of Winter Blues"? Where you just don't feel super motivated to do much, you're pretty much done with all that the weather has thrown at you for the past few months, and all you really want to do is spend time out doing something, but everyone you know is feeling mostly the same way and nobody really wants to venture outside after dark for various reasons? No? Just me? Well fuck.
  11. There's a few threads on her and her perhaps sibling Alexis if you do a search.
  12. I'm not sure that hotels would enjoy being featured here, and I know you mentioned that it would need to include all the hotels in the area, but once this road started to get traveled I think we run the risk of putting providers in a bit of danger if anyone started to reply to the thread with "Hey, I'm heading to the Hilton on Main Street, where are the elevators?" Suddenly, it's outed that a provider is there, if you understand what I'm getting at.
  13. I know I've already posted in this thread a couple of times, but I just visited Sarah again and felt she deserved a bump back up. If you have seen her recent profile update with the photo in the satin robe, let me tell you, the photo, while amazing doesn't hold a candle to seeing her absolute glory in person. I was taken aback when I walked in and I'm not sure if she noticed but I actually had to stop talking for a moment while greeting her because I was left speechless by how spectacular she looked. Not that Sarah needs to rely solely on her looks, the conversation we have is always great, relaxing, and absolutely feels like seeing someone very special to me after a time away. Each time I see her, she just becomes more endearing. This most recent visit will be one that I'll never forget.
  14. Hotel lobbies are generally similar to each other. I think the main point is to just walk in, go past the front desk without making eye contact, and the elevators will generally be right there or there will be a sign pointing the way. The way not to do it is to go to the front desk and ask where the elevators are, or to awkwardly hangout in the lobby looking around anxiously. Hotels usually don't make a habit of hiding infrastructure like elevators. If you are unsure, you can always look up the hotel online ahead of time, and look for a photo of the lobby. It should help make you feel a bit more comfortable 🙂
  15. IMHO you should have only expected this to be a "business check in" While there are some amazing people here in this business that provide an amazing experience that establishes a connection with their clients, in the end it is a professional relationship. I know you were on the fence about it, and prepared if asked, but to be upset at the eventual outcome from meeting up with someone who you only had a professional relationship with... If this was your lawyer that you have only ever seen on a professional basis, and your lawyer contacted you randomly and asked if you wanted to drop by when you were in the city, would you expect them to just want to hang out with you or would you expect there to be a billable reason for it? I'm not sure about other clients on this forum, but I enjoy receiving the out of the blue text from a provider that I've seen a few times and built a rapport with. Even if it doesn't end in us getting together, it still means that she thought of me, for whatever reason, and that feels nice, and helps strengthen that rapport. I've ended up having some nice and genuine conversations from the "random 'miss you'" text. I fully understand the reason for the random message, and accept it for what it is. Wow, I tend to ramble on sometimes in my old age...
  16. I'm waiting for someone to ask you about your 2 all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, Pickles, onions and your sesame seed buns. But all kidding aside, a great reminder to everyone out here that speaking like a human being interacting with another human being goes a long way.
  17. While the total numbers are low, statistically it's the increase thats the problem, especially in men. Most of the providers I've talked with in Halifax make testing a priority and regular event, while I would bet the casual hobbyist doesn't get checked often if at all. Given that is the case, all it takes is 1 infected male hobbyist who thinks they are "clean" to cause a pretty big issue. Thats why the statistical increase is significant and everyone, especially in a higher risk of infection activity, should be aware of it and take the necessary precautions. Kudos to @SarahAlexxx for making this more public.
  18. Hey folks, So I've noticed an upward trend of people PMing me after posting a recommendation or other comment about a provider. Asking for further details, thats fine, I'll happily provide whatever I feel comfortable with talking about. Mostly around personality, general appearance etc. Asking for their rates/options? Nope. Not gonna do it. If you want to find out more about that, contact the provider directly. It should be generally the same for everyone, but there are many instances that the rate one person is quoted, may not be the same as someone else. Asking for their address. No bloody way. I'm not going to participate in doxxing anyone, especially not anyone involved in this industry. There's enough crap that providers have to put up with on a daily basis that I'm definitely not going to add any more strife to their life. Asking for details on what we did? Sorry dude, I'm not here to really discuss what happened in private between me and anyone else. I have the utmost respect for everyone that I've had a visit with in this city. I'd like to think that I have earned some of their mutual respect as well. I'm a pretty easy going person overall, and I'm generally open to talk and help out others where possible, but for anyone out there that truly wants to visit one of the amazing providers out there, at some point you'll need to take a leap of faith and actually talk to them at some point. Be respectful, be open and honest, but overall just be yourself. In the end its going to give you the best results and hopefully something close to what you're looking for. Time to head back to my regularly scheduled ancientness and nerdiness.
  19. Well folks, it's long past time that this amazing girl had a recommendation that wasn't just a comment in a thread somewhere. I took the plunge after chatting with a couple of others on the board about her. I'm glad I did. If you like slim, tiny, beautiful women with dark red hair, smouldering eyes and a smirk that will make you quiver, go see her now. She's a sweetheart, there's no other words to describe her. The only downside would be her current living arrangements, as she lives in an area that many would consider a "no-go", but hopefully she is able to change her situation for the better, she seems to definitely want to. That being said, her apartment is immaculate, and shows off her own sense of style. That being said, this old nerdy guy took a chance, and was happy that he did.
  20. I'd say discuss it prior with the client. As someone who has a lot of ridiculous allergies, I appreciate the heads up.
  21. Ok, so I wasn't going to respond to this because I didn't want to start an argument or prolong a negative discussion.. But here we go. My statement was not derogatory in nature. Absolutely nothing wrong with a "50 year old figure" . By looking at my username it could be inferred (correctly) that I'm probably within that age range myself. Most of my peers are in that age range. I know many people in my age range that are very athletic, who take very good care of their health, who train for elite sports, and both male and female (and anyone somewhere in between those) can look very differently no matter how well they take care of themselves. That is not the point. The point if this thread was to determine the veracity of the person who posted the LL ad. To determine if this possible newcomer is who they say they are in the past array of people who post on LL. My point was that with very little information to go on (2 photos that show a portion of a probably female presenting person), along with an age, that in my opinion, with my best experience of spending hours a day with people from various walks of life in that age range, that possibly due to their figure and their hands (and perhaps it's an excellent skin care routine coupled with no manual labour in 50 years) that perhaps this was not an actual photo of the person. There has been a marked increase of negative discussions on this forum mostly due to someone being offended by either an innocent statement, or in many cases a really derogatory statement. Personally I think that a positive based discussion forum needs to be open while being positive for everyone's safety and well being. Isn't one of the main points of this forum to be able to recommend providers (and to a smaller degree - have providers see how potential clients interact?) And to have a place to talk about the legitimacy of newer providers? Over the past few months I've been feeling like I need to really limit what I post or say in fear of offending someone and starting some sort of runaway thread that just breeds anger. I don't want that. But at the same time if I can give an opinion without fear of being "called out" then maybe someone is able to make a decision. Hopefully in the future we can all take a step back and maybe reach out to someone privately if we are offended by something they post to find out the intent. Otherwise we run the risk of people being too afraid of providing any sort of info. Have a nice evening everyone
