Very informative and enlightening discussion, everyone! I'm not all that tech-savvy, so this may be old news to some of you. I didn't realize there is more than one version of Back Page. The one I am most familiar with is (I guess) the original: http://www.backpage.com , but I recently found out there's at least one other, the mobile version (optimized for mobile devices) - it links you directly to the escort list of the city of your choice: backpage.com.winnipeg.hoxnif.com The interesting thing I discovered is that some SPs advertise on one version but not the other. - V

Face pics? It used to be a red flag for me when an SP posted good (or good enough) quality pictures showing their face. After all, law enforcement should always be a consideration. Having said this, I found my current (and favorite by far) SP through an ad where she posted her face multiple times. Much to my delight and relief, I discovered she is a legit SP. Before meeting her I did, however, verify her pics (face and otherwise) through Tineye and all came back with 0 results after checking multiple times over several days. Anyone turned off or extra cautious when it comes to face pics?

Since Craigslist fell under law enforcement scrutiny in the US and elsewhere a couple of years ago and was publicly shamed for it, Backpage has largely taken over this niche and now draws as many or more escort ads than ever. My regular SP is new to the biz and wants to but can't advertise on Backpage due to some recurring technical problem with the site. She recognizes the potential reach Backpage has but must make do with two other much lesser known sites to advertise. All the advice I've read in this thread I whole-heartedly concur with and applaud. Tineye is my new friend and has saved me untold $$$, embarrassment and disappointments.

I recently visited Amber for the first time and, naturally, I was a bit nervous and apprehensive because the past few ladies I've contacted proved to be bait and switch scams.
