First time poster on Lyla (though active on other boards).h I'd like to take this opportunity to also add my two cents worth on Maria by recounting two of my encounters with her from the past year. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Encounter The First: In the summer of this year, I hit the Big Five-Oh. Wanting to do something special for this lifetime milestone, I booked a 24-hour session with my favourite lady, Maria Divina, and I reserved the "Amore at Le St. James" package for two at the St. James Hotel in Old Montreal. The package included free cocktails, a relaxing massage for two, free breakfast and late check-out at 13:00 the next day. I also made reservations for dinner at La Champagnerie in Old Montreal and we had planned to go for Dim Sum before our massage in the afternoon of the first day. On the day of our meeting, she contacted me to tell me that due to unforeseen circumstances (unexpected landlord visit, if I recall) she would be late and, by the time she arrived, we didn't have time to go out for Dim Sum before our massage so we ate in the restaurant in the hotel itself, and cashed in on our free cocktails at the same time. Our waitress just happened to be the person that Maria had stopped and asked directions from on her way in, and was pleased to hear that she had found her "boyfriend" at last. And for the next 24 hours, that's what I was, her "boyfriend" and Maria was my "girlfriend", making me feel like the luckiest man on Earth to have this beautiful, intelligent, affectionate and extremely sociable lady on my arm. As for lunch itself, we spent the time chatting, talking about the hotel and the restaurant and feeding each other off our own plates, sampling each others' cocktails, and sharing all levels of intimacy two people can share in public without making a spectacle of themselves. We then headed down into the bowels of Le St. James to the spa for our relaxing massage for two. Very relaxing to the point where I almost nodded off to sleep only to be kept awake to the ooh-ing and aah-ing of Maria on the next table as Maria's masseuse worked her over good. Gentlemen, there are very few things as good for the soul as hearing your partner making sounds of pure contentment. After the massage, we went back to our room where -- with several hours before our dinner reservation -- Maria asked the question, with a gleam in her eye, "What are we going to do now?" Time flew by and before we knew it, it was time to shower and get ready to head off for Dinner. We had plenty of time, so we took the scenic route through Old Montreal, enjoying the sights and the sounds and the warm summer evening. At La Champagnerie, we sampled their various cocktails and ordered a main course each, supplemented by the "small" Seafood Platter. I think someone messed up our order because there was nothing "small" about that platter and after forcing our way through it all -- a Herculean task -- we had no room left for our main courses. Gentlemen, let me tell you, if you really want to see a person's true self, watch them eat Shellfish. In that moment, watching the skill, passion and gusto with which she attacked those giant crab legs, I knew I had picked the right person to share this experience with. Whenever I think back on that day, the image of her wrestling with a giant crab claw is the first image that comes to mind and it puts an instant smile on my face. She must have told someone that it was my birthday because, despite how stuffed I was, I was presented with a free chocolate lava cake with a birthday candle on it. Which, of course, I shared with Maria. After our huge meal we decided to walk it off by wandering around Old Montreal some more and mingling with the other people milling about. That was when we passed a street artist and I asked Maria for a very special birthday present. I asked if she would pose for a portrait and, after much apprehension, she finally agreed. The artist said it would take about an hour but it was well over an hour and a half before it was done. I really can't blame him for taking the time, considering the subject he had to work with, but knowing how difficult it is for Maria to sit still for even a few minutes, let alone an hour and a half, I knew what an effort this was for her, and this made me appreciate her posing all the more. For this reason, her sitting for that portrait remains the most cherished birthday present I have ever received and the portrait now rests in a place of honour in my home as a reminder of the best 24 hours of my life. Eventually we returned to our room and after a nightcap -- or two -- we snuggled up together for a well-earned rest. The next morning started early with more snuggling and "canoodling" (you figure it out) but eventually we ordered in breakfast. At first I was sceptical as to what was included in the free breakfast but I let Maria do the ordering and, by the time she was done, we had ordered up half the menu and no charge appeared on the bill at checkout. I had also smuggled in several bottles of sparkling wine the day before so we were able to enjoy Mimosas with our morning repast. With a sumptuous meal in our lavish surroundings, we felt like royalty in the lap of luxury and I could tell by the look on her face that she was enjoying every bite, every sip, every morsel, and every decadent second of the experience. After a looooong, leisurely meal in our bathrobes, we took one last walk around Old Montreal, checked out other hotels for "next time", took time to watch the ducks, and finally wandered back to the room just in time to grab our things before the 13:00 check-out time. With a lingering kiss goodbye, we parted ways and the fantasy was over and the real world began settling back in. *sigh* But I still have the portrait to remind me of that whirlwind day that went by all-too-fast. Most of all, I can rest assured that I made the right choice in companions for this milestone birthday. Not only was she a warm and affectionate paramour when we were alone, but she was also a refined, personable, stimulating and charming companion that I was both proud and humbled to be seen with when out on the streets of our fair city. Thank you, Maria, for a truly wonderful Birthday and memories that will last a lifetime. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Encounter The Second: After splurging on my 50th Birthday, I encounter a seemingly endless stream of unexpected expenses throughout the second half of the year so that I couldn't take part in our "hobby". At all. But I made sure that I squirrelled away a little money every month for what has become a Christmas tradition with me: a multi-hour session with Maria to end the year on a positive note. Of course, the thought of it almost seemed anti-climactic after our summer time extravaganza but, hey, that was six months ago and, when it comes to Maria, every hour is an hour to treasure. So I booked her for a Sunday afternoon. An afternoon to remember. Maria showed up to a tiny Christmas tree set up, a selection of tasty treats and seasonal snacks, and Christmas Carols playing on the TV. Underneath the tree were a few gifts left there just for her. In many ways, she looked like a little girl enjoying Christmas for the first time. The cork was popped and bubbly flowed and we picked up again right were we had left off the previous summer, sharing the ups and downs of the last six months with the casual comfort of an old married couple telling each other the events of the day. Maybe it was because of the bubbly, or maybe it was just because we both know each other so well, but we both got a little emotional (in a good way) and I'd like to share with you now one of the things that I shared with her. There's a reason that I keep coming back to Maria. I'm not a rich man and when I spend money on this "hobby", I need to make sure that I am spending my money wisely and well and that I am not going to regret having spent my money five minutes later. Sure, there are plenty of hot twenty-somethings out there with tight bodies and the athletic prowess of a gymnast but, beyond the surface that's pretty much all you're getting. I've been with ladies who were "talented", and I've been with ladies who were had great personalities. I've even been with ladies who were stunningly beautiful but talent and personality never came into the mix. I've often had 'a great time' but even before I made it home, I had to ask myself "was it worth it". All too often I have to ask myself that question before I've even left. And usually, I know the answer without even asking. It's rare that you come across a woman who has the personality, the beauty and the "talent" all in one package. Someone who not only meets your passion with an ardour of her own but also can make you feel that you've made a connection. Not a "love connection" but a personal connection with another human being. Someone who, even six months later you can ask yourself the question and answer yourself "Yeah, it was worth it." Someone who makes you feel good about yourself and the world in general (even while we are commenting to one another how fucked-up it is at the moment). Someone who is not just an "escort", but a true "companion". And that is why I keep coming back to Maria. After spending time with Maria, instead of just feeling physically spent or satisfied, I feel emotionally "full". Anything less and I would be cheating myself on the experience and regretting the money spent. Maria was visibly moved by this exchange and, if I'm being completely honest, I was feeling kinda "misty" too. We hugged and held onto each other and started to slow-dance (by then the Christmas music had been changed to Diana Krall) and somehow, without me even knowing it, my shirt had ended up laying across the furniture. Things escalated from there and friends, let me tell you, what followed was one of the most intense and uninhibited sessions I have ever been lucky enough to be a part of. Everything from that point on was all about passion and pleasure. Now keep in mind that I was now even older than I was on my 50th birthday and, to be honest, finally I just could not keep up with her and, from that point on, it pretty much became "all about her". And I have no complaints about this. She was comfortable enough with me to completely let go and let herself surrender to the pure pleasure of the moment. I was just glad to be there and contributing to the whole process. We both got so wrapped in things that by the time we were done, we were both completely exhausted. And that's when we took a moment to actually look at the bedside clock, only to discover that it was well past our agreed-upon time. Now I've said before that Maria is not a clock-watcher but, at this point I completely expected her to jump up, get dressed and leave. What does Maria do? She gets up, sure, but then she goes in the other room, grabs the snacks from the counter and brings them back to bed so that we could "refuel". I remind her what time it was and she just leans in for a kiss saying, "It's Christmas." You have GOT to love this woman. Eventually even this day had to end and I sent her on her way feeling physically spent but emotionally charged and ready to face the week ahead. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, not only is Maria the perfect Girl Friend Experience and companion, she's also an incredibly powerful addiction that I have discovered that I have no willpower against. Not that I would even want to TRY to resist. And with this my tale is done and I wish you all a fond farewell and the Happiest of Holiday Seasons! - P.MIkey
