  1. You are onto something Gentleman11. We should come up with reasons why hobbying is better than watching NHL hockey: Her is a start: - you are a participant, not a spectator - it is quieter - nobody is likely to spill beer on your new jacket - parking is easier - the participants are prettier (well at least half of them, two thirds in a MFF) - there is not a loser - it is better exercise - there is no friggin kisscam - MSOG are better in hobbying - Zamboni is a funny name but Hitachi is funnier -No standing in line to go to the washroom Any other ideas? I can think of only one reason why NHL hockey is better than hobbying, that is - there is instant replay.
  2. I am a sports fan in general and a big hockey fan. I will follow the World series, cheering on the Washington Nationals (former Montreal Expos), the CFL until the 100th Grey Cup game is played in late November, for the first time in a long time, the NFL, until the Superbowl in February. As well we have the QMJHL in my hometown, and the Canadian Basketball League. Over the Holidays will the World Juniors, next March is March Madness, and next May the Memorial Cup. So as far as the NHL is concerned, I have to ask myself do I really need it? No doubt I will come back to the NHL after the lock-out, but this time, I will not be in any rush to do so. In fact I hope the league suffers at the gate like Major League Baseball did after the 1994 strike.
  3. Thanks Meg - I know this is under the "New to you section" but it also serves as a reminder to the experienced. Sometimes you ladies are just too good (I mean that as a very high compliment to all the ladies who refer to themselves as courtesans, companions and/or offer GFE). I know for me I have from time to time become awe struck, bewildered, and overly "zealous" by the pure wonder of it all, leaving me in a very high emotional state and confused. This can actually distract from the experience. What I have learned is to always value the provider/client relationship and recognize my role as to be the best client I can be. Nothing else! Not the best client of all clients, it is not a competition, rather, it is to be the best I can be with all the courtesy and respect I can muster. There is lots of information on CERB to help us hobbyist be just that. In so doing, it is nothing but smooth sailing, comfort, joy and lots of fun. So Newbees - you may find your emotions get intense sometimes, and that is ok - but as Meg says, keep the fantasy in tact, and do not lose site of the provider/client relationship
  4. I am like Nicolette in that I never thought of fantasizing about celebrities that way. However, after reading these post it occurred to me I am missing something so I thought i would give it a try. What I came up with was a three-way with Jennifer Aniston and Madonna! If that sounds weird you should cut me some slack because it was my first attempt!;-)
  5. The 100th Grey Cup game was awarded to Toronto. which, given the state of Toronto sport teams is the only way that city can host a championship game.:-)
  6. Week 1 of the new NFL season is now past and I, like many, am looking forward to the rest of the season. However, on the subject of good football, has anyone noticed that the CFL is having a great year? So far this season there have been a number of games decided on the last play, no one team is way ahead in the standings and only Winnipeg has struggled all season. As well, this year marks the 100th year for the Grey Cup. I have enjoyed a number of CFL games this summer. So what are the CFL fans on CERB thinking? Who are you picking for the 100th Grey Cup? My choice is the solid Montreal Alouettes and in fact I have a running dispute with Miss Emily Rushton about this. Emily tends to cling to faded memories of glory days of a certain team that wears green and gold and plays out of a western shanty town that's claim to fame is it has a big shopping mall. I have been patiently explaining to Emily that it will be wonderful to see the 100th Grey Cup hoisted by Anthony Calvillo to cap off his amazing career. Emily is not buying it and our dispute could get ugly!
  7. Opss, I forgot to mention one other fantasy. That is to go to Orleans, and finally meet Meg for a megalistic, orgasmic good time. After all I have been flirting with her for over a year...
  8. Interesting question. I have always had fantasies until recent years. Now when I am in the mood to fantasize I find myself recalling past events as opposed to imagining something that has yet to happen, or is not likely to ever happen. For greater certainly, those "past events" I keep recalling are experiences I have had with certain Cerb ladies. That may sound like I am sucking up, but it is the truth (lol). From time to time I do wonder about an encounter with two ladies or even three, but really, such an event may not live up to expectations. I am in a small market so not likely to happen. I do fantasize about having a dinner date with one or two of my favorite ladies (you know who you are ladies), or even making dinner for a favorite lady, or a weekend away at some romantic Atlantic Canadian destination.
  9. What makes these pictures so great? The photographer? The Black and white? The attire? the Chair? -Nope - None of the above - Its Emma!!
  10. There once was a Moderator named "Mod" Who proclaimed this thread got to odd! "Be good CERBIES I say with my seniority Or I will suspend because I have the authority" And for that, we all should applaud!! Sorry everyone. I just tried to lighten the moment. Hope writing a lame limerick is not a suspendable offence. Perhaps it should be!!
  11. Congrats Meg - thanks for your great contributions - no wonder I have my long-distance crush on you!
  12. Making someone smile Laughing at myself Feeling good after working out at the Gym Passamaquoddy Bay in New Brunswick A salmon dinner Sunday Morning A thread like this on CERB
  13. Non alcoholic: (in descending order of preference) Water, coffee, tomato juice, usual array of breakfast juices (apple/orange etc), regular tea, Ginger ale, Seven-up Alcoholic (very occasional drinker) - Rye and coke, rum and coke, beer (usually domestic Maritime brands like Moosehead, Alpine, Clancy's) Where I am not a huge beer drinker I do not expand into the micro brands of the exotic tastes like lime beer. Somehow, gaining an appreciation for wines has escaped me but I do have a glass now and then. After seeing some of the responses to this thread, perhaps I need to expand my horizons.
  14. Congratulations Emily for your continual terrific contributions.. Have a cupcake to celebrate
  15. I would do it for one simple reason...48 hrs of being a woman may perhaps give me some insight into what the hell you ladies see in the "Shopping Channel...
  16. Since reading this thread a couple of hours ago I have been thinking of ways I have been careless. I appreciate the reference to above thread which has lots of good information. I also appreciate the reference to Chrome and incognito that a couple of posters have mentioned. I was not aware of that feature. Another point I would add if it has not already been stated is to limit the "unexplained" time on the computer. The answer "Oh! I was just seeing what is new on CERB" will never fly! No matter what our reasons for engaging in this activity, it is unconventioan and there are inherent risks. It never occurred to me until this evening how easy it may be to inadvertently put ourselves as well as the ladies who provide their wonderful services at unnecessary risk. Ems points are well taken.
  17. Third day in a row I have a highlight. Rounded up all the change in the house, rolled it and have $67.50 ready to be deposited. (Obviously it was a slow day with sucky weather). Now if the Blue Jays can only have a three day winning streak!! Better yet Canada's rowers in London!
  18. Having a highlight two days in a row. Today's highlight is noting on the CERB stats that posts to the "Highlights of the day" thread out-number the "Things that suck" thread by 20% (1199 vs. 990). That can only be a good thing, right?
  19. This is somthing that sucked that turned out to be a highlight. What sucked was getting stung twice by hornets while trimming a hedge. Now the highlight. I emailed a very good friend who is a well known Cerb lady to tell her of my misery and received a nice reply with lovely words of sympathy, (once she stopped laughing, that is).
  20. This is somthing that sucked that turned out to be a highlight. What sucked was getting stung twice by hornets while trimming a hedge. The highlight is on "Highlights of the day"
  21. These may have been mentioned but: Lucky Stiff 8½ Also: The Natural The Great Gabsky
  22. I forgot my wrist watch once. Another time I left my deodorant and mouthwash. The worst though, was one time I put my undershorts on inside out before leaving, requiring me to come with a made-up explanation for my shorts being inside out later that evening. Fortunately i landed on my feet with my made-up excuse.
  23. Congrats Meg. 100,000 Rep points - WOW! See... yet another reason why I have a long-distance crush on you;)
