Downtown would be a busy location for CMJ, their current two locations are kinda far away, downtown would be competition for Brass Club I guess lol, can anyone confirm CMJ is coming to Downtown Ottawa ?

Walked by the old Tease today and spoke to the motel owner who says the club will be open next week, apparently they did about 200 G in renovations downstairs and will be the nicest looking club in Ottawa. Makes sense that they should keep the license and zoning as Hard Rock is coming and should get some business from there when open. Is it a relatively straightforward process to transfer a cabaret license like that? Does the new owner have to be vetted by City Council, go through a hearing process? Cause the zoning for Tease hasn't changed, it has for Silver Dollar though, a strip club cannot go back into that spot that Silver Dollar occupied. Cabaret Casino !
