Gregsand started following Provider asking for a photo..., Creampies in Montreal, How has technology been a detriment in your life? and and 7 others

As "creampies" implies BBFS, I would avoid at all cost. It's your penis and health, up to you to make that call.

Like most, I enjoy tasteful nudes. Where I got an issue, is when people post videos(via links) of known providers in porn. It's fine when she's open about it and uses it at her advantage. But on a few occasions I seen cringe worthy "audition" videos that were likely never meant to be posted online. It happened here a few months ago and raised concerns as it wasn't clear if it was really a new career option or a life mistake. Here the thread: http://www.lyla.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=257758 The link to the video is no longer valid. But a clearer policy in regard to posting this kind of content would be helpful(if not already updated). Don't want to throw that member under the bus, but we could all learn from this. Thank you.

I think it's more a generational gap than technology. Modern smartphones will learn the vocabulary from it's users and suggest words he/she often uses. I rarely use emojis and abbreviations and my phone will suggest complete words after typing one or two letters. If you receive an incoherent text message, blame the user and not the phone. The phone is only a tool and won't change a persons vocabulary. It will only adapt to how it's used. Have a nice hump day.

Living in a bad area, should I move?
Gregsand replied to Blondenextdoor's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
If moving is your last resort, you could maybe consider outcalls options. If you don't have a car, you could adjust your rates to cover the Taxi/Uber or give clients the option of picking you up and bring you back. It's not perfect, but could help you until you can afford to move somewhere a bit nicer. -
SP's have been using the services and therapeutic sections since the day the Escorts one was removed a few years ago. I understand the frustration of MA's and RMT's, but it's a bit hard to enforce. Many people on CL will massively flag SP's in the services and personals section but it's pretty much a futile and endless battle.

I agree with Lady Sophia on that. It looks like it was put together on a weekend to click bait people looking for BP alternatives. Would stay away.

The void left behind by the loss of BP is painfully obvious on CL. The amount of providers ads in the therapeutic and personals section easily doubled in the past days.

No more bp, where to go?
Gregsand replied to jefrry171990's topic in Escort Discussion for Belleville
There must be at least 7 or 8 threads on the subject. It's not as if BP was the only source for classified ads on the internet. On top of that, I stopped counting the amount of threads and posts about people complaining on how useless and misleading BP was. And now that they got their wish, it's chaos as if the entire adult industry will collapse because of it. When in doubt just use Google. It's not perfect, but when it doesn't give you exactly what you want, will at least point you in the right direction. And as many others pointed out. If you're a hobbyist or a provider, a membership to a message board like Lyla is helpful and more than often all you need. -

Wow, that's old school. I remember in the late 80's and 90's, when finding newspaper ad pages under the Bible in some motel rooms was not unusual. And behind the TV a toggle switch to watch the closed-circuit porn. Good memories of simpler times. -

Miss the good old newspaper ads. For younger people, it was like internet but on paper without pictures. -
Canadian law enforcement have mixed feeling about this move. On one hand it solves a few problems. But on the other it makes it harder to crackdown human trafficking and to search for missing persons. Now instead of having one big site in the open, the information and ads will be spread in multiple little websites. A political move that will spread a problem instead of fixing it.

From what I read online, the U.S. site has been seized by the FBI for child exploitation and obscenity. Other than that, it doesn't say much about the future of the Canadian website. https://globalnews.ca/news/4128868/backpage-sex-marketplace-seized/

Will be up to us and the mod to verify the recommendations and make sure fake lobbyists/procurers are not creating false credentials with misleading posts.

What are the sites besides Backpageing?
Gregsand replied to Mikehfx's topic in Escort Discussion for Nova Scotia
Could be what Katherine posted or maybe those providers were reviewed by long time members and are considered legitimate and safe to meet. -
Was in real life. At an office party I bumped into a woman I had an arrangement with two years before. Not knowing with who she came with, I pretended not knowing her and she came to see me and said she had a part time job there. We worked in different departments, so hadn't noticed each other before. Nothing else happened, just a small world.
