It seems a lot of providers are noticing that others are posting ads on backpage using their email address. It does not appear that they are actually logging into their bp account and using their credits, but when they post an ad, they use the email address associated with your backpage account. I suspect they are doing this to circumvent their banned accounts. There might be other reasons, but this is the only thing I can think of. So log onto your account to make sure there are no unauthorized ads. If something is suspicious, report this to backpage.

I know the NS section increased from when I first joined. Used to be a couple of posts here and there. It was all about Ottawa. I'm glad NS and NB are active. Just need to get PEI and NFLD more active.

The reality is that BP does not have a discussion forum. Lyla does. Yes, its frustrating when guys are asking about new BP ladies, or ladies that have been around and can't be discussed. However, the guys do want to see more then their regulars. This is the nature of the business. So, yes, they come here to see if anyone has seen a new girl posting on BP. I always try to encourage these new ladies create an account here. Most don't know about it. Lyla is the only site that allows civil discussions. So, instead of complaining, lets encourage it.

I never ask for pics, however a lot of guys send them. I personally don't want them to do this, and it doesn't make them step to the front of the crowd. However, when I'm meeting them at a hotel that is key carded, and they have to meet me in the lobby, it sure makes it easier to figure out who they are if 3 guys all step off the elevator at the same time. That's really the only time I personally like getting pictures. However, I like it if they ask first before sending, and please no naked pics.

Trying to be open to other peoples opinions. Listen and try to understand what they are saying. Thats been a hard one. I appreciate everyone that supports some of the most basic issues in this industry and helps others to clarify their point. With some of the negative posts lately, it seems that in some cases, we are no further along then when I first joined. However, I see who the truly great people on this site are. Bartering as a first contact will most likely get shot down. Sorry, but I charge much more then my massage therapist, so, in order for a barter to work, there has to be an even exchange that works for both. However, if a regular were to propose a barter for something I wanted, I might be open to that. I had one that would plow my yard - that was his tip for my services - he still paid my rate. I tried to give him money back, but he wouldn't take it, so I would give him extra time, but he was always so busy in the winter, he couldn't stay longer anyways. I had one want to help me with renovations, but I felt weird with that as he would be in my personal space for along time, and I was not comfortable with that at that time. I've had so many contact me for photo's - I look on their website, and really, I wouldn't pay for their services as they don't seem to have an eye for this type of photography. They might be ok at wedding photography, but boudoir is a totally different type of photography. That said, there are some who do accept barters - not to be confused with negotiating - that is never acceptable in my opinion. Just never as a first contact though.

I know of a few hotels near the police station in Saint John, and they are all high end hotels. Not sure about the other cities, but if in SJ, don't worry. Its funny, when I book a hotel, the last thing I worry about is "is there a police station nearby". I look at parking, door access, quality of hotel etc. Yes, I feel you are over thinking this. Go and enjoy.

Trying to help a friend post an ad on a site that is so frustrating to work with.....For some it is easy, for others, it is a nightmare. I look forward to the day when this site gets back to normal, or goes under. The anti's really messed things up. Just wish the guys would use the legit sites and not go to this anonymous sites.
