I've always loved Sunday. When I was still a 9-5er I would spend my Sundays cooking lots of soups/chilis/casseroles, so I would have healthy meals ready for the rest of my week. And spend lots of time in my pajamas, snuggling the cats. ALways a great day.

I searched for a thread on this topic and surprisingly couldn't find one, and it's definitely one that (sadly) needs to be addressed. Lately, I have been hearing some appalling things from ladies I speak to: and that is, some gentlemen have been sharing information about ladies location. I am just floored that someone would think this is information to share. Where a lady works from, whether it is an apartment/condo/house/hotel, is information that should always remain private. If you see a lady in an apartment/condo, and happen to have seen another lady in the same building: it's NOT your business to tell either of them that the other lady is in the same building as they are. If you see a lady in a hotel where you've seen others: it's not your business to tell her that 'so-and-so lady' also works from that hotel. If your buddy works close to a lady, and you want to recommend her: maybe say that she's works very close...but do NOT say 'Hey she works in the building right next to you!' Many women work out of their home. This is their private life. And even if they rent a separate work apartment, or work in a hotel, it is not up to you to disclose this information to anyone, ever. Telling other people puts her safety at stake. And could put her in compromising or embarrassing situations. The ONLY way you should know where a lady works from is when she tells you herself. Please, always remember what business we are in. Discretion is the ultimate key to happy, safe, encounters. There is never a need to share someone's personal information with others. Thank you.

Thanks for the advice, but I wasn't confusing anything, and I most definitely have never confused a cop with a lawyer. I mentioned my conversation with the police simply as a way to assure the OP that incalls are not risky. Not to say that the cops are the end word on the law. But to say that the cops DON'T CARE. As far as the cops here are concerned, it's not illegal anymore. The bawdy house law was declared unconstitional in March. 12 months from that date, it will be completely invalid. And from the mouths of the cops I spoke to myself, it's already gone. So no, incalls are not risky. That's all I was trying to say.

This is what the police reiterated to me, and told me to re-read my law. Because at the time, I thought it was still illegal. Turns out I was wrong.

My day has just begun, but I've been sitting here smiling for a while, watching the sun shine in, and my big grumpy cat chase the light reflections on the walls. So cute.

I didn't say I spoke with police about doing outcalls - I spoke with police about what I do in hotels, which are incalls. And the police explicitly told me that was I was doing (offering incalls from a hotel), was not illegal.

Of course, none of us had to answer the question, what I think everyone is trying to say is this: some questions just shouldn't be asked. This business cannot be compared to any other. Not ONE other kind of business, seriously. So the rules of what is right in a restaurant, or an office, or anywhere, simply do not apply here. In this job, we share ourselves with you. And it's a wonderfully rewarding job. BUT, at times it's hard. And one of the hardest things is keeping your personal life, and your work life separate. So don't ask these kind of questions. Always remember, and respect, that we are real women, with real lives, who choose to share certain parts of ourselves with you. And the parts that we don't choose ourselves to share, are to be left alone. Because they're ours, and prying into those parts will always come off as invasive, whether that was the intention or not.

I once spoke to the police about what I do, and about working in hotels. What they told me: what I do, and what I do in hotels is NOT illegal. At all. I even said I thought it was in a way - they told me I needed to re-read my laws. So. No. I do not think incalls are risky, at all. Not sure what risk there could be, because it's not against the law...soo...relax! Have fun! Get laid! :D

I'm not terribly concerned with writing in French, the speaking, and reading, is what I need to learn the most. French movies is a good tip, thanks! And once I learn the basics I'll definitely be encouraging my gentleman callers to speak with me in French...so make sure you know ALL the dirty words ;)

But asking other women their personal info wouldn't give you any answers about --that-- girl. Because every woman's life is different. And also, every woman's real life is her real, and personal, life. Questions like these are ones I may feel comfortable answering to a client I've developed a friendship with, but asking women to share this info about their real life on a board devoted to their work life seems invasive to me.

'Don't call us, we'll call you' - CORRECT An SP should never be cold-calling or cold-textinga client, unless he has said this is fine to do. I have a couple of clients who enjoy getting the occasional text from me just saying hello!, but I've only done this at their encouragement. Otherwise, the only time I may call/text a client is at an agreed-upon time, such as, I'm supposed to contact them the morning of an appointment to let them know my location. They're expecting my call. This is a business of discretion, and I assume, unless told otherwise, that every one of my clients has a spouse/family/coworkers with them at all times, so I would never place their privacy at risk by contacting them randomly.

Thanks for the advice everyone! I think I'll try the Rosetta Stone. I actually would prefer learning the Parisian French, because I do travel a lot and a trip to Paris/Morocco is planned in the spring. Once I master that, you Quebecers can help dirty up my French a bit ;)

So my winter goal this year is to finally learn to speak a bit of French. I've always felt terrible that not only am I Canadian and uni-lingual, but I live in OTTAWA and am unilingual...eeeeeeee. I've considered going to take classes, but I am BAD at having to be in the same place at the same time week by week, or day by day. I am, however, great at teaching myself and learning on my own time, and know I would actually utilize something like online training. Has anyone ever used online language training, and if yes, what one would you recommend? I've been thinking of trying the Rosetta Stone series, you can access all of their online training for $300, which isn't too shabby. But before using it I'm hoping to find someone who has, to let me know what they think. Any tips/suggestions for other sites are welcome!

On my list: Peru (Specifically, Machu Picchu) Southeast Asia (will hit Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam) Another trip to Australia, to spend time in Tasmania, and do the Overland Track. Likely visit New Zealand too, and scoot over to Fiji while there Rather than backpack around, I'd love to actually spend a month or two just living in Barcelona/Madrid All of these destinations will involve a lot of $$$ and time away, so they're a bit out of reach for while, so my next feasible travel destination will be Morocco in the spring, with a stop in Paris on the way

When I was an MA, I never advertised my prices, and my prices were the same for each and every client. The reason I didn't advertise the rates is because, of course, the client was only paying for a massage (door fee) when he came to the spa... anything else that may have occurred within the room was between me and him. I was always happy to answer questions on rates in private message, but publicly posting the rate for a naked handjob could stir up trouble for some establishments.
