Same. I <3 my netbook. I'm sure techy people won't agree with me, but my netbook is one of the most helpful and convenient things I've ever purchased. It has 160gb hard drive and 'only' 1 of ram (my first PC had 126mb of ram hahaha). It weighs like 2lbs and can fit in my teeny purse or can be carried in my hand easily. I tote this thing around with me literally everywhere. If these existed when I was in school I would have gotten one, hands down. And they're only around 200 bux. Additional Comments: oh and the battery life on my netbook is way better than the life on both of my roommates big laptops

Yep. Which is why I've been going to sexual health clinics for the last ten years. I started getting tested when I began university, and to be completely honest, I wasn't always the strictest in using protection at the time. So I'd request testing from my doctor and at THREE different doctors I was told 'nah, you're fine you're not high risk'. I'd say 'I just told you I have been having unprotected sex, exactly what is risky behaviour to you?' and at all three doctors I literally had to demand testing. It's funny because now I don't take any risks, but now I have no problems getting my tests done. Ahhh life is 'funny' that way.

I'm not picking on any one person for their opinion - what I'm saying is most of our clients are married, and many of those married men won't see an SP in a relationship. That is hypocritical, in my opinion. If the man can be married, why can't the lady - because I would never refuse to see a client because he was in a committed relationship. I'd be out of business if I did that! :P

I'm assuming then you are single, which I would estimate, out of my clientele, puts you in the about 10% that are single. The vast, vast majority of mine and I"m willing to say all SPs clients are married or in relationships. Which is why, for on that majority, I think it's very hypocritical for a man to refuse to see a married/committed SP.

Do you think every hobbiest uses protection every time he has sex with his wife? Obviously not. And I don't feel that puts me at any extra 'danger' because I use condoms with every hobbiest, every time, without exception. Many people, SPs and hobbiests, do not practice safe sex in their relationship. I haven't always in the past (although, not that it's anyone's business, but I would now if I was to ever enter into a relationship again), and I'd call bullshit on anyone who says they always have. But that doesn't mean just because shes in a relationship that you can assume she doesn't, and as long as you and the SP use protection, and everyone gets tested regularly, there is no added 'danger'. As your first sentence says, an SPs personal life is private. Just as a hobbiests is private. I don't want to know what you and your wife do in the bedroom and I would not want a hobbiest to presume anything about an SP just because she is in a relationship. Thats just not fair.

My place is a lower level so I thought I could get away with it, but after one too-sweaty encounter last month I got an A/C that same day, now it's sooooooooooo nice.

I'm on the other side from most people. If I was dating someone, and his best friend knew and never said anything to me, I would feel so... weird about it if I ever found out. I don't think the OP has stated he wants to tell his friend, but tell the girl he knows - and I see nothing wrong with this. She may then tell him that her boyfriend already knows. Or, if she's struggling with how/wehn to tell him, this may help her ease through it. As long as you talk to her, respectfully, politely, discreetly, and with NO intention of trying to force her into telling your friend, I do not see why you can't tell her about this. Because imagine this - she tells your friend, he's fine with it, and he tells you about it one day - then they both find out you knew all along. That seems fucked up to me.

Pretty much what I was going to say! I went on a date with a client I'd seen once, last winter. Went great, or so I thought, until he mentioned his 'girlfriend'. Oh. Would you go on a date with a non-SP if you had a girlfriend, and especially would you mention it? Nope. He clearly thought of me just as an SP, not as a dateable girl. Lesson learned!

WHen you use a majic jack, a generic phone number appears on call display, same as using gmail or whatever else it is you can use to call off the computer. For many ladies, myself included, we won't book from these same as if you were calling from a blocked/private number.
