Treat my lady well everyone she'd better still be here when I get back to Canada!!!!! I'm even more excited than this kittycat
  3. Thanks everyone! Hopefully everyone wont' forget about this kitty while I'm purring away with the kangaroos!
  4. Thanks everyone! You are all the sweetest. Well, technically I'M the sweetest, cause I taste like cupcakes, but you know what I mean :b See you all in the spring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. I'm leaving early next week for a six-week trek around Australia, I can't wait! A few people have expressed interest in reading about my adventures in the land down under, so a link to my newly-created travel blog can be found on my website at http://cleocatra.net/contact/ It's less than seven weeks until I return, and I'll be online often, but I wanted to say I will miss you wonderful cerb-ites! You help make my days exciting! Kisses and meows! Cleo
  6. Heehee, I would consider doing the same Samantha! I had to chance to ride one of these recently, OH WOW. I can't believe how fast that damned thing can go though, I made it to a 4/10 and it was sooooo intense!
  7. WOW. I cannot understand why someone would solicit through facebook.... so, so strange to me. Do they have accounts with their escort names, or real names, and how the heck do they find clients that way? So not something I'd be comfortable with!
  8. Looooooooooooove Christopher Moore. Was just recommending Lamb to someone the other day! My absolute favourite is A Dirty Job though. LOVE IT. I'm currentl reading 'A Spot of Bother' by Mark Haddon, who wrote 'The Curious Incident of the dog in the night-time'. Loved that one, not too big on the one I'm reading now though.
  9. Heeheehee, now that was a gift we were both able to enjoy! My best gifts were from my mother, when i went home for Christmas a few years back (I don't go very often). Although she and I don't talk often, so I didn't think she knew me very well, she presented me with a slow cooker, a rice cooker, and Trivial Pursuit 80s. Incredible!!! I love to cook and I'm board game nerd, she seriously couldn't have gotten me anything more suited to me. It was awesome :D
  10. I actually have heard of more MAs being targeted than SPs so I doubt it's the legality. I think the answer to this question will differ from person to person. When I first starting thinking about getting into the biz, I first thought about massage. To be honest, the reason I thought that first was more about what other people would think of me, than what I actually wanted. I figured my friends/family would have an easier time accepting that than being an actual SP. But I never took the step of doing it, because I always knew it wasn't what I wanted. I wanted to do exactly what I'm doing now - why I can't really say, I just knew it was the right choice!
  11. This thread seems like the right place to share my thoughts below! One thing that my friends ask me a lot about the business is, 'don't you have to deal with a lot of assholes'. And it's a funny question. Yes, obviously, there are jerks. Every SP has gotten jerky text messages or phone calls, or had a client who didn't treat them as well as they deserved. However, the jerks came up SO much more when I was an office/government worker. And what was missing in those environments were the GOOD people. And that's what makes this business so special to me. The SPs and hobbiests on this site really take the time to show their appreciation, and there are so many small acts of kindness that happen on this site, it truly amazes me. Some of you may have read my facebook post yesterday about an invasion of my privacy. That sucked. But later last night, I got a really wonderful message from an SP, that i've never met, about something else posted on this site. And you know what I thought about this morning? Not the facebook jerk, but about how nice that message was, and how awesome it was that she took the time to send me that message. For every jerk, on this site at least, there is a true gem. Every time I meet someone that may make me think people are jerks, the next person I meet is so incredibly nice that I'm flattered and honoured to be chosen to spend time with them. And guess where they found me - right here :D
  12. I do have to say, to the OP, that if I was the SP in question (which I'm not), putting this up publicly would guarantee you'd never hear back from me about what happened. There is a reason cerb does not want to 'air dirty laundry'. It never leads anywhere good! You gentlemen do not like to read threads where SPs complain about no-shows. This is basically the same thing. Never a fun situation and never something anyone wants to go through. However, the best thing you can do is move on.
  13. Bringing this thread back up because today I had the unpleasant experience of being contacted on facebook by someone from here. Someone I've never even MET. The audacity of such an action seriously floors me. Cleo Catra and the personal me are two separate entities. Sorry guys if that comes as a shocker! I do not want gentlemen on here to know my full real name (although many, that I've met and TRUST, know my first). That is very, very personal, private information. If you recognize someone in the 'suggestions' section on facebook from here, leave them alone. Or, if it's someone you've met, possibly mention it to them when you speak. But getting a facebook message from someone saying 'I know you from cerb', actually felt like such an invasion of my privacy I almost burst into angry tears. I responded to this 'gentleman's' message and let him know why what he'd done was wrong. However, unfortunately, I think needs to be brought to people's attention again because I don't want this to happen again, to me or to anyone else on here. Most people here who read my posts I hope know that I'm not one to come on here and rant about things that go wrong in this business, however in this case I need to make my opinion on this issue known. I would never, ever, jump into a hobbiest's personal life like that, and I expect the same back. Just be respectful everyone, and you'll get the same back :)
  14. Good thread Megan! I always provide a reference when asked, and rather than be offended that a gentleman is seeing another lady i'm more flattered that my opinion is requested. Posted via Mobile Device
  15. Ugh, I've had times where I've had to count pennies to buy the bag of potatoes I'd live on for the week, and where I've had to lug a shopping cart of empties back to the store to buy toilet paper and shampoo. Not fun. I grew up 'poor' though. We were on mother's allowance, and all of our gifts at every occasion came from the Salvation Army. Not once, and I'm not kidding, not ONCE, did that bother me as a kid. I'd hear rich kids whining about how they didn't get enough Easter presents (easter presents??? really??), and I'd think of how happy and proud my mom was to lay out a pretty new dress for me to wear on that day, and I never understood why those kids weren't happy for what they received. I was happy, always. And it definitely helped me grow up in a great way, I wouldn't change a minute of that 'poor' life I grew up in.
  16. I was wearing that apron just this morning, next time I'll invite you over to join me :D
  17. This video is making me wonder if I should start looking at my life differently....heehee!
  18. Oh geeeeeez, where to start??? I admit to wanting to jump right into the photos the first time I saw Alexandra-Sky and Vicky20 - MEOW!!!!!!!! After meeting the incredible MiaBella I definitely wanted to put my paws all over her, and lucky me I got to!!! EEEEEEEK! At the last social I developed a million girl crushes though, I definitely have one on Nicolette Vaughn, Malika, Carrie Moon and Charlotte Sinclair, OH MY!!!!!! I think the better list would be, who do you NOT have a girlcrush on, cause I think my answer may be NOONE, hahaha!
  19. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!!! I wish I was as cute as that beautiful furry monster!!!!! WANT WANT WANT!!!! Thank you for posting this :D :D :D
  20. Mine was finding my grandfathers magazine collection, when I was about six years old. I opened it because Madonna was on the cover, and I loved her - but I'd never seen her like that! I was so fascinated, she was so beautiful. I don't think I even looked at the other girls, haha, just at her
  21. "I guess they feel safe. They are all having a good time" I'm also none the wiser, but this comment makes me not care in the slightest!!!
  22. The new Britney song. I had to check it out, and am not ashamed to admit it! Actually, now I'm about 45 seconds into the song and AM ashamed to admit it. This song sucks.
  23. My advice on this is to find a lady who advertises with someone. This is because, if the ladies advertise together, they clearly know each other and like each other, which is essential to having a good duo. If you have two ladies in mind that do not advertise together, but you know them both, it's also possible to suggest it to each lady. I've had gentlemen I've never met contact me asking if I want to get together that day with him and another SP I've never met, and my response is sure, I will see you as a couple, and charge my couples rates. That is NOT a proper 'duo', as I'm being brought in to see two people I've never met. However, I've also had gentlemen I know well suggest other ladies he knows well, and she and I have discussed, and the duos have been wildly successful (and OH so wild and wonderful!) A big tip in what I just said above to is to suggest the pairing to the ladies in private. I'm not talking about the fantasy duo threads, but it has come up on many threads and profiles where a gentlemen will say 'Hey 'selected SP', you should contact 'other SP' and offer duos with her!'. While this is flattering, it can put the lady in an awkward situation, where others may then begin contacting asking for this duo, and the girls haven't even met. And then the girls may have to contact each other in private and explain why they are/are not interested in the pairing. Chemistry between the ladies is the absolute key to having a good duo, so imo it's unlikely you'll have a successful one if you just pick two girls and throw them together. But if you know they're friends, ask them in private - you never know, the sparks might fly!
