City of Lost Children Pumpkin Hard Candy The Good Girl (Yes, Jennifer Aniston... it's this film that makes me love her) Stranger than Fiction (Not sure if this one actually got a lot of press or not, so maybe it doesn't count, but I adore it. For so many reasons, one of which is definitely that I see my future in Maggie Gyllenhal's character)

My Life Without Me. Small indy film with Sarah Polley and Mark Ruffalo. Quiet story that draws you in and has you feel with the character in a way most films completely fail in. Very cathartic and beautiful. Based on a short story that's nowhere near as good as the film.

How do you feel about your secret life?
Cleo Catra replied to a topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
This is a hard question for me, because for the most part, I have no 'secret' life. I keep a lot of my personal details secret, of course, but in my real life, everyone knows what I do. I even told my sister last time I saw her. The only time it's strange for me is when I meet a new person, or a casual acquaintance, and they ask what I'm up to now - I see no reason to drop the bomb on them, because it would create more drama in the quick meeting than is necessary, so I make up some lame excuse. And that feels weird to me - I don't like hiding who I am, I see no real reason for it. I of course understand that not everyone feels the same, my comments above are about ME and about me only. Believe me, I had no reason to hid this from my friends - the reaction, pretty much across the board, was 'well, she does love to fuck!!!', hahahah! -
Well MEOW!!! :D :D :D :D :D

Ottawa Social - December - The XXXmas Social

You're leaving mid-December no? We're suggesting last week of November, or first week of December, so I think we're all on the same page :) Second week I'm gone, third week you and Bethany are gone, and what kind of party would it be without us? :D -

I think last week of November or first week of December would be good, later than that, many people have family/work/vacations and turnout likely won't be as good. Plus if it's from the 6-14th I won't be there as I'll be out of the country! -
How Far Ahead to Book?
Cleo Catra replied to Winnipegcub's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Unfortunately there will never be a perfect timeframe to ensure no issues arise, but I've found that booking a week in advance gives a lot of time to get to know each other over email, and it's soon enough that nothing should really come up to interrupt the appointment. I've had people book two weeks in advance or more, and I've had to reschedule our date due to things out of my control (like my teenaged sister coming to visit, eek!!!). However, if I've had to reschedule, I've let the gentlemen know as soon as I find out, and ensure to suggest other times around the original date and have always been able to reschedule, but my point is that too far in advance is difficult because you just never know what may come up. -

We could play the GREED game!!! It's a lot of fun, and it's totally doable, because if you bring a gift, you can play. Quick concept of the game - everyone with a gift, place them wrapped on the table, then everyone draws a number. First number opens a gift. Second number can either open a new gift, or take the first person's. If your gift is taken from you, you can either open a new one, or take someone elses. It's SO much fun. You put a cap on how much everyone can spend, and make sure to buy something unisex. Something tells me, there would be a lot of alcohol and sex toys in those wrapped gifts at this party, hahahahaha!!!! -

I do this too!!!! I perpetually have my laundry bag full of clean, folded laundry, sitting at the foot of my bed, and by the time I get around to putting it away, it's usually covered in cat fur again. Grrrr. (grr to me, not to the cats, hahahah!) -
