Whats on your Bucket List
Cleo Catra replied to FineWineDiva's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Let's see... Travel to: England, Rome, France, Australia, Central America, and Japan. I plan on crossing at least three of these off the list in the next year. Learn to drive. Yes, just a car. I've been on my own since age 16 and have never learned. Learn other languages. I feel like such a dummy for being unilingual. Open my own bakery. Just a little one, with a few records and books for customers to use while they're there. Have a daughter. And teach her to make pies. Skydive. Also bungee-jumping, but I'm crossing that one off the list this coming Saturday! -
I admit to rockin the Loverboy during many recent 80s dance parties! And I have no shame in admitting I LOVE billy idol, mmmmmmm billy idol...:bjs: Additional Comments: Oh, for bands I actually HAVE been ashamed to admit to...oh geez... Counting Crows (there album 'August and Everything After' was my secret sleepytime album for years, until an ex threw it off the balcony when I made him wake up to the one song on the album I hated as much as he did) There are many bands that I'll hate overall but have a couple of songs I can't help but adore, and always listen to in secret only. They're all songs I listen to really loud while singing at the top of my lungs, hahah I'm such a nerd! Songs include 'Shattered' by Remy Zero, 'Sex and Candy' by Marcy Playground, '4am' by Our Lady Peace, 'Falling Down' by Scarlett Johannson, and 'Scared' by the Tragically Hip. I can't believe I just admitted those. I'm going to crawl under my blankets and hide now.

Sex Work is Work!
Cleo Catra replied to Megan'sTouch's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
This is the reason why I avoid using the word work. It in no way means I don't love what I do - I ADORE what I do, and left a full-time government job to do this. I see your points about how you wouldn't do it for free and I agree, but still, to me, I don't like pointing out to clients that they're 'clients', it just my personal preference. -
Wow, thank you gentlemen for all of your kind (and naughty!) words, it's making me blush (in the best way possible of course!!!)

I totally agree with this. I'm genuinely not trying to ruffle any SP feathers with what I'm about to say, but I think questions about business should be kept in the SP-only section. Why? Because these men are not here to help our business! Reminding them that we are 'working' or are not busy are not the ways to change that. We are part of a fantasy for them, and reminding them of the business aspect ruins that in many ways. I've heard from many hobbiests that they've been messaged on chat or PM, by girls saying things like 'I've just had a cancellation so I'm all alone, come visit me!', or 'I've been alone all day, waiting for someone, want to come over'. These attempts at receving a visitor have NOT been successful, and I can see why - this is just tacky. Our ads, photos, and reviews are what are here to entice these gentlemen, but if they do not make the choice to contact you, sorry, no matter how busy or not busy you are, you shouldn't be making the choice to contact them. The choice to see or not see a lady is up to the hobbiest - it's a big part of why they choose SPs instead of going to a bar! Slow business sucks, I've encountered this in many jobs in my life, but it's something everyone has to deal with. Also - every hobbiest knows that you should NEVER ask a lady 'how's business', 'how many clients have you seen today?' and the like. So I don't see why we should be asking them why business is slow. It's the opposite side of the same coin. I'm in no way trying to single anyone out, especially not the OP here, just giving my two cents. And I'm sure things WILL be getting better for everyone soon, as MOD points out above it's a busy time of year for family men!!

Unfortunately most hotels won't take the prepaid cards. I don't know the reason behind it but I do know it to be true. Posted via Mobile Device

HEEHEEHEE!!!! *opens wide* ;-) Additional Comments: Somehow I missed this response until now!!! It's nice to see someone else who feels the same way about animals. I have three cats, and I love them all - but it's the one who just has that something that makes him all the more special to me. He's not my pet, he's my family, and you obviously feel the same. That's awesome, that's something special :) -

Get to Know Me Better - Some Trivia About Me

1. - I do not have my drivers licence and have only been behind the wheel of a car once. 2. I have three cats, which is likely going to soon become four when my roommate finally decides she doesn't want to really be a cat owner. This will officially raise me to crazy cat lady status. 3. Only two of my tattoos have any personal background. The rest I got because I think they're pretty. 4. I am currently listening to Lady Gaga. I love her. 5. I am obsessed with Broadway musicals, and attend as many as I can every time I go to NYC. The soundtrack to Spring Awakening is played almost daily on my ipod. 6. I was born and raised in Toronto, and obtained a degree from the University of Toronto, before deciding to move here to Government Town. 7. I am a fantastic cook, but even moreso a baker - I've even had some of my recipes published. 8. I plan to attend Baking and Pastry Arts at school and turn number 7 into a profession one day. 9. I talk to my cats like they're people and believe my oldest one to be my best friend and one of my soulmates. 10. I have two other soulmates in my life, so far, and look forward to adding to the list. -

I honestly don't see how having or not having tattoos should have an effect on whether you find someone attractive or not. I am a heavily tattooed woman, and I will admit to finding tattoos hot on others - however, I've been attracted to, and dated, many people without them, because I liked the person. And I've had many people tell me that they generally dont' find tattoos attractive - however they find ME attractive, because there is something about me they like, not just my skin. I would seriously be disappointed if I found out someone came to see me just because of my tattoos. I can obviously understand them being a factor, but to me, they're not what stand out about myself. I love the way I look and would feel the same, with or without the ink. I do think there is a stigma of sorts attached, and one I don't actually understand or know how to explain. But to anyone who says I've tarnished my skin, or anything of the like, I could just as easily pass judgement on your hairstyle, or choice of clothing - but why would I do that? To each his own, and I think it would be sad to miss out on spending time with a great person just because they put ink into their skin, or because they didn't. Also, just to throw this out there, even WITH all of my tattoos, I have worked in fine dining establishments, been a bank manager, and worked for the government - and DAMN I looked fine in my business suit, with no visible tattoos at all. And the men who found me sexy then were never disappointed to peel that suit away and see the colourful images beneath it. Just my two cents. -
