Well, never send a deposit to an advertiser without recommendations at least 😇😋 Trouble is, as we can see here on Lyla, there are MANY reputable providers that also ask for deposits! If you can spot the difference, you won't be missing out or getting scammed. The difference is reputable providers that ask for deposits, at minimum have solid recommendation threads, like myself. Some also have websites and tour dates and have been verified and are long standing members of sites like this one. Surely a better rule of thumb would be to properly check recommendations/validity before making a deposit with a prospective provider. If you want to find a real provider you really like, that is, while avoiding getting scammed. Don't just take shots in the dark! P.S. my deposits are via amazon gift card and as such, is 100% anonymous for both parties and will be returned in the event that I have to cancel.

You blame the screening? but its about non payment. If they dont go around stealing sex work (wonder what other label an act like this could be.. starts w an R and ends in ape) then their name would have been held in strict confidence as thars best for a providers business, but the person who has been named breached trust and thats what happens when you breach trust. Also, why i dont accept e transfers bc this ladies payment was most likely 'stolen' by way of disputing a transfer after services rendered. Ladies get your cash upfront and dont leave your bag unattended, ive heard of guys taking the cash back out of a girls bag when they left the room without it. The gentlemen ive seen would never.. but alas it happens sometimes. Sounds like both parties were palying a dangerous game and they got burned for it.

Its up to each individual to consider if a providers deposit is reasonable for them or not. I dont tell prospective clients what my red flags are 🤨🤨🤨 and I advise other ladies reading this to also not share what their red flags are. Just think about it for a second here... If we teach people how to circumvent our safety methods, then we dont have those safety methods available to protect us from anyone who means us harm! Most people mean us no harm but it only takes one and I'm not making it easier on anyone to get through my barriers to entry. I believe my screening and booking process has been nearly perfected over time and keeps me nice and safe. I'd just as soon not have to find new ways to spot potential danger. All that being said, Most people who thorougly read the forum discussions are not going to have to worry about setting off a ton of red flags to even the most safety- consious providers. A few things you can do without taking away SP safety measures are: 1) this ones easy... dont mean them any harm!! (Duh?) Lol😋 2) read the "new to this" FAQ page -dm me if you cant find it and i will link you to it but try to find it on your own first 3) Most ladies share etiquette tips on their websites or ad posts for how to approach them in the way they prefer. Follow those and you should be more than okay🤗 Sx

Polite gentlemen are my absolute favorite! And, while I respect others and myself -and require the same (hence my avid love of gentlemen), I dont think so highly of myself that I believe Im a rare breed in that way around here!! Most of the lyla ladies directly speak of respect in their ads 💯 Fair warning: I can smell a fake though so you have to be genuinely polite and respectful, not using niceties to mask arrogance. For any new SWs here, if you want to but dont know how to yet, read Clays posts closely and you will find examples of this so you too can learn to spot the fake gentlemen. They dont come around here often, or last long here! Thank you to Clay for the educational examples provided here, such a prince... This sounds like what youd expect from traditional dating. The fact is that it IS unusual in the SW industry. Thats why providers give details about their look and service prior to bookings. Hesitant clients can ask to negotiate a fee beforehand that if you meet and dont want to go through the whole encounter, the client gives the lady some cash - not the whole amount but enough to compensate. Thats how we navigate the fine line between risk 4 the gent and risk 4 the lady when it comes to in person "chemistry tests"

If you're worried about scams, reputable is the way to go.

Thats what I started doing, requiring a nominal amount (not 50%, only $50) as a deposit via amazon GC before making plans. It stings not getting the extra 50 in cash, but Ive seen a huge drop in no shows so its worth it. And I enjoy that its anonymous for both parties. I just get the claim code and put it on my account and make sure it is added to my balance prior to establishing dates. Ive never tried (now that i think of it I just might try) but I think its safe to say theres no easy way for the gc purchaser to see what amazon account a gift card was applied to. I dont know for certain but I highly doubt that even contacting amazon support would result in them being able to give that personal info, even if the nosy client tried to say it was a scam, amazon would very likely ONLY give that info to authorities and ONLY on request. Im personally not booking without it any more. Deposits from everyone, and ID from new people. Pretty much just what sarah alex said in her post. The lost time costs me more than 50 dollars. And it helps being a legit provider bc Im not in it for just the 50 😉 thats simply my new assurance policy that its worth all the time and effort I put in beforehand, which I cant get back. Wish i had been doing this since day 1 😅
