What everyone else has touched on is great and what you should be doing anyways. I'd honestly not worry about them coming after you or blackmailing after the fact. Considering these are less than reliable sources, I think, they got a booking better than what you had to offer. i.e an incall vrs an outcall, something closer to where they are located, or something longer. Like many have pointed out. If they are a provider and doing their own research, they will be less likely to book you using a text app and fake information.
