Actually... Speaking on SEO terms and google hits LL does have the monopoly. It's typically the top 1 or 2 spots on search engines. We'd lose a ton of traffic/and new clients from it. Yes it's the most expensive site for advertising nevermind all the conversions fees from fiat currency to crypto and back to regular currency to add the the expense. As someone starting out new or not weeks booked out in their schedule it'd be hard not to place any type of advertising on LL. The regular person or new to the industry client isn't going to know how to validate the sites and providers at the same time. No one spends time looking pass the top three links, even in regular searches. Looking at LL side of business... It's forcing us to bump our ads more often thus them making more money.

Personally...My phones are on silent with clients and put away. Out of sight, out of mind. On the rare occasion I have the volume on, I try to let the client know I am expecting a call. Or if I am dealing with another matter as they come in I do apologize and let them know what's going on. We can't control when the Drs. Office calls for the appointment we need, the kids requiring immediate help or whatever else part of regular life that needs immediate attention. Allie, You are a beautiful soul and you have made life a great success. I appreciate a lot of what you said, and I've tightened my bootstraps as I have followed some of your wise words. The stigma against what we do for work it very challenging. As a newer person to places, I find it takes about 5 years to create a new city or town home. The east coast has its charm of everyone being friendly on the surface but it's very challenging to create solid friendships and people you can depend on. Add in what we do, it makes life very isolating. I personally don't let out what I do for work unless 100% necessary and sadly there are many you still can't trust with the information. I've lost places to live, a career and friends over it. This job, as much as we love it and it has it perks, has some darker demons like discrimination and isolation we have to deal with daily. If you're having issues booking a provider on PEI maybe it's your approach to booking? Or you're too late in booking, i.e. when they are finally here. My schedule is extremely limited when I arrive to PEI if not fully booked. There is a couple that work here regularly and lots that tour in. It applied to me as I use to offer the services of FBSM and as a trained MT but clients kept get more demanding thus me dropping the services. If you want 'just' a massage, go book an RMT. They are licensed and trained to take care of the muscles and they can issue a receipt. If you are wanting that extras, pay for it. The only thing I hear and why I've dropped my offering of massage, is you want to cheapest option with the most options to it. IMO as someone that is trained but not licensed in massage, it's more work than my GFE sessions. Timing the session to get a half decent massage in and timing it to get the magic to happen doesn't always work.
