There's already at least one thread here but this provider deserves many more. Lily-Rose is absolutely wonderful and I wish her all the best (I also wish many more trips to Halifax for her 😉). Oh it's for sure all my fault. I think it's the front desk calling for sure that messed things up the most for me. It's sort of my fault. Because I was waiting an hour past my appointment I had to pee really bad. I assumed the hotel would have a public bathroom so I went in to see. Reception said no. Then when I went back in (probably 20-30 minutes later)she stopped me coming in the door and started asking questions.

Hello everyone, Let me paint a hypothetical. If you notice my account is fairly new here and I am in fact new to the community and hobby. I book a first true appointment. I confirm it. Show up on time. She's not ready and having issues with the hotel. I wait 20-30 minutes still nothing. I proceeded to also put some of my clothes back on because I didn't know what to do but that was clearly not the right thing. I'm handed back my envelope and told she's "not feeling well, sorry". I feel like the "not being enforced" part of it mostly has to do with a "why bother" attitude. With forums like this and LL and other resources people are communicating privately directly with a provider or agency and that isn't harming anyone. Meetings should be scheduled in private places. If everyone is a consenting adult there's no one being harmed. Now if you do stuff in public and other places you shouldn't be that's on you and asking for a cop to come and interfere. The resources required to set up sting operations and such, make fake profiles to trap people, when we already have underfunded police forces in many circumstances and all just to catch a few people ultimately not really doing anything "wrong". Illegal sure but is it really wrong if no one is being forced? Now it's a different story all together when talking about providers being forced into it, pimps, underage providers, human trafficking, etc and I do hope the police are on top of that but who gives a shit if two (or more) 20, 30, 40+ something consenting adults want to enjoy each others company for a while. I'm happy to hear the police are seemingly reasonable and don't put their noses in this type of thing.

I guess another piece to the nordic model is that if it's legal to sell then providers have some form of support and protection. Let's say someone sees a provider and assaults them. The provider then has the ability to go to the police and report the assault without risk to themselves. Of course this same model also harms the buyer as I've heard of some people meeting and getting beaten and robbed (the purchaser in this case) and they of course have no recourse because they were technically doing something illegal. So I see the "protecting the providers" piece of it for sure but it's still weird.

Maybe I'm naive but how does that even work? It's legal in Canada for an escort (or other provider) to sell their services but it is illegal to buy those services from my understanding? Seems like Canada is confused. If it's legal to sell it should be legal to buy. I was going to say "make up your mind" but I guess that could then go in the wrong direction and become illegal both ways which would then likely cause more stings and issues for both the providers and purchasers...

Not a worry of being real or not. YFL is an established and well respected agency. It's just a preference to know what I'm getting into and who I'm going to see rather than being surprised.
