After several discussions with clients inquiring with me personally and after a thread here I have quickly written out a handful of things you can do to see if someone is legit. 1. Do they have ads on other ad sites? 2. reverse image search 3. Google their name 4. google their number 5. do they have social media ? 6. Do they work with other reputable providers? 7. Do they have reviews? 8. How long has their ad been up? 9. How old are their social media(consider we are deplatformed often) 10. How many ads do they have up? (consider many providers have ads running in multiple cities at once so that prospective clients from a city they tour in sees them- having ads posted in multiple cities is not always an indicator of a scam) feel free to add to this!

This has definitely been posted before but I wanted to address it again. Many clients get so standoff-ish and totally flip a switch when you ask them to screen- even when it’s in your ad. I don’t think they read the whole ad to be honest and that’s fine, but are Ottawa men not used to being screened? I think it’s so insane not to screen. Here’s my process, I ask them if they’ve seen my ad, to which 99% say yes. If they say no, I send it to them. Then we talk rates and dates/ times. Then, to lock it in, I ask for my screening criteria. The shock I get is nothing far from funny and frustrating. I go down a level to a less ‘intrusive’ form of screening, they’re still rattled. Some suggest a FaceTime session to get to know each other first. I don’t know about you but to me- that’s not screening. I still don’t know who you are, if you’re a safe, if you are who you say you are, you could be putting on a front and I could end up in a million little pieces later that night. I don’t know about anyone else but screening is mandatory for me. Has anyone else in Ottawa had this issue to this extent? How do you go about it besides just saying ‘byeee’ next? I have my script about how us sw have to be safe blah blah blah but that’s just not cutting it Love, Candy

There is lots of conversations taking place out there about Inde verses Agency. Most of the time it comes down to personal preference who people go to. But the question I would like to explore is how people feel about Independents who use a Personal assistant. One of the reasons I hear guys like Inde is because they are dealing with the girl directly. I for one love hearing from my clients directly and can be more in control of who I see. But along with the freedom of independence come all the leg work. A personal assistants can cut that down. I have thought about using a personal assistant in the past to cut some of the work but I have never done it. I guess I am just a control freak when it comes to that but I would like to hear what guys think about it. Also from the SP'S if you have had a good outcome with this type of product as far as your clients feedback.
