I attended an amazing workshop this past weekend. It was a training for facilitators of workshops (I attended it because I will be facilitating a workshop on self care in the coming weeks and another one on consent and escorting the week after that). Anyway, something that I realized, which is so obvious and yet so overlooked, is the power of thinking about the positive things in our lives. Often, at least in my life and my immediate circles of friends, we are quite self critical and pessimistic (and rightly so seeing as life can be quite harsh at times). Nevertheless, positive reinforcement in our lives is definitely one of the many ways we can attempt to maintain a certain level of happiness and provide ourselves with the means to be able to care for ourselves to avoid burn outs, depressions and overwhelming exhaustion and sadness in general. This thread's purpose is to allow you to tell the CERB community about one good thing that has happened to you in the last couple of weeks. My hope is that this thread will be lively for quite some time and people can use it to share their positive experiences with others on this site. It doesn't have to be CERB related or SP/Hobbiest related. Anything you want, really. GO!
