The attached poster provides full information on what we're planning together with contact info where you can obtain more info on how you can participate. The purpose of this video project is to add to efforts to put a human face to sex work. We plan to include a series of brief clips from sex workers and... friends, families, and clients of sex workers to share the faces of sex work. The tone of the video is positive, with our hope being we will help the public develop a better understanding of the presence and diversity of sex work. If you would like to participate, but live outside of the Vancouver area, we may be able to accept self-submitted video clips up until August 10th. If you would like to participate in this way, please send us an email at [email protected] for more information on the content and format requirements. If you would like to participate in other ways, we are seeking filming, editing or online marketing expertise, as well as any volunteers who can donate some time on filming days in the next two months. And just to reiterate, we are actively seeking submissions from active sex workers, male and trans sex workers, Aboriginal and sex workers of color, and families, partners, and clients of sex workers."
