By that I mean sometimes, dry wit can be misconstrued as rudeness, attitudes misinterpreted and communications can go awry because of tones of voice being misinterpreted. Since you haven't elaborated it's hard for anyone to know,(these are just speculations) perhaps she felt your questioning to intrusive or explicit, perhaps you didn't give enough information, perhaps you called instead of texting or vice versa, perhaps you called or texted multiple times. These are some reasons that can cause attitude sometimes. If none of the mentioned actions took place perhaps she was just having a bad day. We all are entitled to one or two, lol.
