Sexy_LanaMegane 2288 Report post Posted December 1, 2007 Hello & thanks! I would like to place some of my pictures in my post, but my concern is that I'm affraid some peoples copy my pictures and place them in other sites... I tried 2 free photos hosting that I found and my photos can not be protected... Any help would be appreciated. I'm sure other providers have the same concerns. How can I do this?? captain 160 Report post Posted December 1, 2007 it is virtually impossible to do so, however, the best thing you can do it copyright it with your name on it.... for example, put the words "Lana" across it from bottom left to top right in a way that doesn't hurt/cover the features of yourself that you want people to see.. this is a common practice that is a sort of "Watermark" it is usually a good idea to put a website link on it too. you'll notice on the EC site, all the photos have "escortscanada.com" stamped on them, but they are off to the side or the bottom, and it's kind of easy to cut that section out. If you do it right, it's way too much work for somebody to steal the image and not make it look altered. If you have your very own website, you can use "no right click" and no hotlinking dynamic html code to keep people from saving them, but there are too many easy ways to bypass that system. EDIT: here is a sample: http://sexylovelymegane.com/photos.php click on a pic and you will see.
mod 135640 Report post Posted December 1, 2007 It's not virtually impossible... it's 100% impossible. Anyone can steal any image if they know what they are doing. Escorts-Canada also digitally watermarked and we disable the right mouse button to make it harder to steal the images but people still do and we have to sick the lawyers after them when this happens. The photos are digitally watermarked on EC so if someone steals the image and thinks they can just cut out the logo we still have proof they stole the images from us and we go after them full force. mod 135640 Report post Posted December 2, 2007 Hell I have seen people print the screen and scan the photo back in! The basic rule is ... if your viewing it on your computer then your computer has downloaded the image from the internet. Every image/text/code etc... that you view online is first stored on your hard drive then shown to you on your monitor. Flash images make it a little harder for people to steal but still if you know what your doing it's easy to get them that way too.
