Guest S****r Report post Posted July 9, 2015 I have been hearing of cuddle services over the last year. Today I caught an episode of The Doc Project on CBC in which one of the producers tries out Cuddlr, a location-based social-meeting app for cuddling. Very interesting episode! Here is the link. http://www.cbc.ca/radio/docproject/how-close-is-too-close-1.3142180?autoplay=true Start listening at 13:15 and enjoy. The story piqued my interest, so, of course, I googled it and found this promo of the app. https://vimeo.com/104043430 If anyone ever tries it out, let us know how it goes! pbmx 110 Report post Posted July 9, 2015 According to Wikipedia and their homepage, it looks like the app was put on hiatus back in March. http://www.cuddlrapp.com/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cuddlr
Guest S****r Report post Posted July 9, 2015 Ah! I see their website says they have "temporarily uncoupled." Cute. Nonetheless, this is a trend that is happening even without the app. I have read articles about it and my daughter said she has participated in cuddle sessions. I would be curious to hear about it from anyone else who has participated. As a woman, I would be skeptical about others intentions, but apparently I am wrong. It seems some people really do just want cuddles! :-)
