brothercharles 807 Report post Posted July 24, 2015 Hi During my running around to clear up some of Tom's stuff, I notice in various parts of Ottawa, Kanata, Nepean, Stittsville, that there are a number of garage doors that are partially open. I am wondering if that means the same here in Ottawa as it does in Southern Ontario, where a partially open garage door means, "come in and let's play" or does it mean "the garage door won't close properly??" Just one of the things passing through my brain these days. Thank you

Meaghan McLeod 179664 Report post Posted January 14, 2016 I know some rescues that leave their doors open partially for this stray cats to keep warm. So, it's in essence a cat house.
Greenly 791 Report post Posted January 14, 2016 Reminds me of an urban legend that I heard quite a few times when I was serving in the military: If you are driving around the married quarters of a navy or army base and you see an orange "Tide" laundry detergent box displayed in a window, it means the husband is at sea or away on exercise - "come in and let's play".
