Bobolakj43 140 Report post Posted August 9, 2015 Any insight on this behavior? I've noted it multiple times as i look through ads, that I'll see a recognizable SP running under a new name, sometimes with a number change sometimes not. Should this be taken as suspicious? Or is it just benign behavior?
Johnny Canuck 5347 Report post Posted August 10, 2015 Sometimes it can be suspicious, and sometimes not. In my opinion I don't think it is. The SP has the right to change her name as often as she pleases no matter how confusing it may be. A simple reason for this could be something simply as rebranding themselves.
Exotic Touch Danielle 31712 Report post Posted August 10, 2015 Nothing wrong with making a new name but in my opinion if it continuously happens I would wonder why
shortandsweetxo 1348 Report post Posted August 10, 2015 As an SP who used to go through names as often as underwear, it just took me a while to find the right fit for me... Some just didn't fit well with who I am as a provider and others were changed because of some personal stuff. I don't think it's really all the suspicious... Probably just rebranding or shuffling things up a little bit.
Malika Fantasy 144625 Report post Posted August 10, 2015 Should you be suspicious of the BP only Sp that change names and phone number each week and look like Victoria Secret model? Yes probably. However establish independent who have been around for a while and have good reviews no. Something it's rebranding , sometime the name just don't suit you anymore. I'm considering myself changing "family" name. A lot of women choose their first work name on a whim and it doesn't suit their personality As for the phone number...we lived in a society where your average teenager change phone each 11 months and adult each 17 months. Changing phone number isn't that uncommon especially when tit's a burner type phone
Ice4fun 78407 Report post Posted August 10, 2015 There could be a myriad of reasons why someone working in this industry would change their name some benign and some for less positive reasons. I have met with a few ladies who have changed their name some complete changes and some subtle changes... some to better reflect the image they wish to present in their business and some to make a break with a past that has or is causing them difficulties either of their own making or more likely if they are well established reputable ladies to get away from individuals who are stalking or bullying them. Unfortunately in this industry like the rest of society you get to meet all kinds of people and I think ladies in this industry often are subject to abuse by individuals who accept the stereotypes that have been painted of sex workers and assume they don't have to respect them like they most likely would other independent business people who were providing them with a service. People forget that sex workers have a life outside of their work environment and that they unfortunately often have to go to extraordinary length to protect both their own privacy and that of others who might be in their life. This will sometimes include restarting their business under a new name with a new website and new pictures often at considerable cost and impact on their business to say nothing of the effect on their personal feelings of safety and security. As I have traveled my road in this lifestyle I have appreciated all the wonderful ladies I have met and have come to learn that at least for me, it is better to not assume but instead do your research and rely on input from people you can trust... if a lady changed her name but has a good reputation then the name should really not be an issue if it was a change driven by the lady herself she will most likely have discussed it and it will not be a secret...ie some ladies even include the tag line in their ads..formerly?????. If the lady has not explained it and you have put it together based on pictures or rumors then perhaps.. just perhaps giving the lady the benefit of the doubt and not making things any worse for her might just be the right thing to do. Just my Opinion
Exotic Touch Danielle 31712 Report post Posted August 10, 2015 If the sp has been in the business for some time and has good outstanding reviews then you have nothing to worry about like it was previously mentioned maybe just trying to find something suitable or simply bored of the name used BUT I would just be cautious of those who every week has a new identity and pics that just don't seem to match up
Meg O'Ryan 266444 Report post Posted August 10, 2015 I always identified strongly with the name Meg. I started out as megforfun in 2009 but always felt the urge to have a "real" name. I waffled on a bunch of last names and even asked my fellow female lylites to help me pick a last name. Ultimately I ended up with O'Ryan! I am with the majority however, if a lady is changing her name constantly and not identifying with her past persona, there may certainly be a nefarious reason. Due diligence my friends! Check all resources including cowboy Kenny!!! Also verify that the pics are of the actual person, you may think they have changed names when in fact it was a pic rip!
someguy 67067 Report post Posted August 11, 2015 I've met several women that have had to change there names due to stalkers. Or co-workers that have discovered where they work through pictures. Several of them are going thru divorces or child custody battles and need to keep low while court proceedings are going on. Some times there ex's are trying to use their profession against them in court. Some women just came out of retirement and wanted a new image. So there are some legitimate reasons why some change their names.
Parker 19761 Report post Posted August 11, 2015 A lot of women choose their first work name on a whim and it doesn't suit their personality I did this.. and I chose both a first & last name that people were already using. Before I changed it, (aside from giving it some actual thought,) I checked around to make sure I wasn't taking another overly popular name.. or a unique one that someone was already established with. spud271 47779 Report post Posted August 11, 2015 If you see someone who frequently changes their name, yes that can be a bit suspicious. That's why doing some research, rather than just going to see someone can prevent any potential problems. As Parker pointed out, she changed her name, as have many of the women on this site or elsewhere have. It's generally not a big deal, and they may just being doing it for the sake of change. Frequent name changes should raise red flags, and you should do some research in this scenario. A one time name change is really not a big deal at all.
Nicolette Vaughn 294340 Report post Posted August 16, 2015 <p>I had no choice but to change my working name that was very well known in the business after being away for a couple of years. While I had let the domain name expire, I came back to find it was now a dating website for married people similar to Ashley Madison. I didn't want people to think I was associates with this site so a name change was in order. I actually like the name Nicki or Nicole better. Suits me more. I prefer people call me Nicki instead of Nicolette. Sounds VERY formal. Great for professional name but Nicki sounds more approachable. While many independent ladies change names from time to time, those who ate less established and constantly changing names and phone numbers will raise red flags. Some may be doing this to get away from someone or they have pulled a boat and switch and landed up on the Cowboy Diary. Rightfully so if they are using fake pictures. Always go with your gut, use tin eye as a resource to check and make sure they aren't some sort of internet modeling picture.
mrgreen760 37785 Report post Posted August 16, 2015 Can be a red flag... for me Peace MG
roamingguy 300292 Report post Posted August 16, 2015 It can be suspicious, it can be benign A lady who worked for a agency and then goes independent may have to change her name A lady who has a stalker may change her name (one I know had to do this three times) It may be an innocent case of a lady who just wants to change her name, just for a change It can also be the case of a bad companion getting a bad reputation, and decides to change her name to give herself a "fresh start" RG
Malena Parisi 5142 Report post Posted August 17, 2015 I've had to deal with the misfortune of changing my name... I actually miss my name, but due to stalkers and some ill intended people I had to sadly give it up and my old number... I wish people could just move on with their lives and let everyone else live theirs peacefully... However yes I agree frequent name and number changes maybe an indication of red flags I agree with most on here to check the cowboy diaries. Cowboy Kenny is insightful and ontop of the game when it comes to fakes..
Amanda-Lee 11094 Report post Posted August 19, 2015 "TwlightBaby" is just my username I use and add it to any email signature I have along with the name I go by. The name I use is Amanda-Lee and prefer someone calling me "Amanda-Lee" or "Amanda" ive had a few clients call me, "Ms. Amanda-Lee" and it sounds so elegant. TwlightBaby came from two different things. I'm or was a huge fan of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and one of the main ponies her name is Princess Twlight Sparkle. So got Twlight that way. But I can also view it that I like the quiet Twlight night. :) Baby I added for fun to make it more fun and appealing. Not sure why. That's where TwlightBaby came from for me. xxLeaxx 160 Report post Posted September 9, 2015 I've never changed my name once since I started as a working girl. (Almost 7 years ago) But I understand those who have. Sometimes people in their personal lives find out, if they were hiding it, or it's for their protection. I was a lucky one though. my name fit me and I haven't had any reason to change it based off my personality. I've noticed friends of mine who have changed their names for this reason.
