halifaxlocal 150 Report post Posted August 12, 2015 Is it just me or do other people dislike posts like this? Seems unfair to post this with no info. If you've had a truly bad experience, post something in the warnings area with details. Nobody knows if this is simply something that wasn't to your liking or something to be genuinely concerned about. Very unfair to the lady in my opinion that a post like this could cost her business, some people may just not book and not pm you. Just my thoughts. I'm sure some will disagree, but we've had a hard time getting travelling ladies to come to Halifax and things like this probably don't help the cause. fixednbroken 814 Report post Posted August 13, 2015 posting with details that are not positive is a quick way to get yourself banned for some period of time. I imagine that's what most people are afraid of. The general code for bad news is "PM me for details " In this case where it's an agency, I'd go on their website and email them with my complaints if it was me, couldn't hurt,
leon1972 1202 Report post Posted August 13, 2015 (edited) It is ambiguous if this post was a warning to beware of danger or sort of a personality clash/unprofesssional with an unpleasant experience but there should be room for both on this forum, in my opinion ... so far I prefer the format of 'saw her, pm for details' if it didn't go well but appreciate that not everyone want to write all those responses and it would still be helpful to get some sort of feedback. I saw Sexi Pepsi and had a great time with her but still see the warning posted and wish there was something I could do to help the reputation of this lovely travelling girl. my .02 -Leon PS Sorry your experience wasn't great and thanks for letting us know Edited August 13, 2015 by leon1972 typos
Ice4fun 78407 Report post Posted August 13, 2015 One thing there is no shortage of is places on the internet to post negative things about people be they Escorts or clients so i think it's kind of refreshing that this place is not supposed to be one of them... general rule of thumb is if you can't say something nice don't say anything. Let's face it out side of the warnings about dangerous situations do we really want this board filled with everyone's dirty laundry... what is poor service to one person is perfection to someone else... if you have a bad experience (note I said bad not dangerous) then move on and chalk it up to experience... There really is no reason to trash either party but if you do want to do that just don't do it here. Just my Opinion
Samurai 7678 Report post Posted August 14, 2015 If I had a bad experience I just say. " I saw her." Don't even need to say PM for details and I always get private messages. And as for having to respond to multiple messages I write one generic description and copy and paste to each pm. If it was a bait and switch or dangerous situation it goes public ally in that section. It is interesting that we have a public post of a bad experience here and a reco for the same lady under the reco section from...I think June. But to my point..opinions, right or wrong, are all a matter of perspective.

"Opinions are like Assholes... everyone has one and most of them stink" Bottom line opinions are so subjective that it is hard to rely on them... positive opinions may be equally unreliable because of individual preference but at least they are not hurtful Just my Opinion
dickryder 422 Report post Posted August 15, 2015 Well. I thought I was doing the right thing by not going into details in a public forum. If it were anything dangerous I would have posted it in the warnings category. This is supposed to be a community. People are encouraged to make recommendations when they have a good experience. Shouldn't we be able to let others know when we have a bad one? "If you can't say something nice don't say anything." So what am I to do? Go into a situation where I was promised several services, only to be denied them, treated rudely and without respect and then just keep my mouth shut knowing other hobbyists are going to walk right into that kind of situation? But you are worried about the girl in question losing business........ I have always treated the ladies I've seen with kindness and respect, and would only hope to get the same in return. "What is poor service to one person is perfection to someone else." I suppose it would be perfect to be offered this, this, and this, only to be refused after the session commenced. It seems to me that there are a lot of people on this site who get off on attacking other members' posts and ganging up on them. I have seen it many times. I was just trying to do my best to make sure that none of my fellow members went through a bad experience when they didn't have to. It really doesn't bother me if that resulted in the sp having cancellations, etc. She should treat her customers better. Maybe she'll learn from the experience. I did contact the agency about the situation.

I did contact the agency about the situation. What you are supposed to do here on LYLA is keep your posts positive or say nothing about it... you have been a member here since 2008 and posting since 2014 this should not be a surprise to you. You had a bad experience... ok sorry to hear that ... but that happens... unless it was a dangerous encounter or a Bait and switch when it comes to LYLA just move on. I fully appreciate that some members of the board feel that if we are encouraged to post the positive we should be allowed to post the negative ...but frankly doing that would turn this board into the same thing as the many other boards that are out there where it is post after post of ladies and clients posting their dirty laundry and trying to get even for their bad session by trashing the other party... frankly that is not what I want to see here. The fact that you did not go into details is not in any way a positive... you identified the lady and said you had a very bad session and told people to PM you for details. This is a direct attack on the lady for which she can't even defend herself. If the lady publicly responds to you here on LYLA she risks being banned or suspended which directly impacts her financial security... that does not seem fair to me. Just my Opinion
Miss S. Lane 67128 Report post Posted August 15, 2015 To the OP... This is a community forum based on positivity and a sense of community. It is clearly stated from day one that it is not a place to spout negative reviews. Given the fact that you weren't scammed for your money, and this wasn't an instance of bait and switch... I am struggling with your post. You've made it clear that you "didn't get what you asked for", were "treated rudely", etc. The funny part is - the donation you paid was for her time. What transpires between the two of you is up to you BOTH. You don't get to dictate anything. Also, I am quite sure she had her reasons for denying certain things. Please remember... There are two sides to every story and the truth is usually somewhere in the middle. In this case, you have expressed dissatisfaction in an inappropriate forum, and she cannot give us her side. Hardly fair.

You just told ALL of Lyla you had a very bad experience and if you want the details PM you. So much better than posting details (being sarcastic) BTW as for ganging up, how do you think the lady feels after reading your review...probably ganged up on by you. And she is in a no win situation, say nothing and your review stands, argue it and she can get suspended for fighting. All we get is your unsubstantiated post. IMHO This thread shouldn't have been posted RG
StefanieBell 240 Report post Posted August 15, 2015 One of the main reasons we decided to post and advertise on Lyla was knowint that there are very strict rules about slandering (not sure if that is the best word) SPs in a public manner. We feel that if someone has a bad time with either of us for any reason that we want to be the first to know and hopefully we can make it up to them or explain why we weren't able to accommodate their requests. That being said, we also fully expect that if someone has a bad experience they will be passing that information along privately and feel it is the best way to do it. Will it potentially affect business....yes...but in those cases it is up to the person hearing the negative things to make up their own mind on if they are true and if they are as bad as it sounded. Negative and vague public comments just really don't help to serve any real puprose.
Arthurjames 120 Report post Posted August 15, 2015 I'm really sick of some of these longterm members. This is a public website not your own sacred sanctuary. If one person is paying a lot , being offered and refused services, he/she has all the right to 1. Attack the bad sp 2. MAYBE as a result save some other people's money and time and positivity. U think all your b*tch az posts with a even more b*tch az label "Just my Opinion" is positive but really ur just making this board a despotism and driving people who r genuinely trying to relax and have fun crazy. There are people who deletes accounts who are obviously a threat to the wellbeing of a good board like this so shut ur mouth and stop being a self-identified internet police. If you hate someone, don't pretend to like its just plain stupid to the public.
halifax76 2855 Report post Posted August 15, 2015 I really don't agree personally with not being able to post bad encounters. If i remember correctly there is a private section for the SP's to do so. It would make sense there might be one for clients. I myself have been judged by several people on this site with no reasoning for it. It seems to be ok when it's a SP or a admin. So I'm not sure why it's not ok to post what happens in an experience when your a client. SP's have no more greater loss at this game then clients. We are both all the same here. Lets face it. It's not a pretty industry with lots of standards and guarantee's. A lot of people are out there lieing and manipulating money out of people for false promises. The "move on" attitude just means you support that kind of behavior in every day life. Which is probably why a lot of the different service industry's everywhere is in such a scamming state right now. As for turning the site into a place full of post after post airing dirty laundry. Thats a personal thing, not a service to the greater community thing. If it's all dirty laundry post after post, just kick all participants from the site either client or SP who couldn't seem to find the Tide. If the post is descriptive, non childish and informative. Leave it up so the community can keep informed and become supportive. A lot of people liked my thread on "what do you do when" addressing the situation of your SP's high kicking in that you had no idea was initiated or even wanted. Did i post who it was. No, which i still feel shitty over wondering how many people got the same experience i got, wasting money they work hard for where the SP has been back here at least 2 times since then. If we had a section on bad experiences, i would think it would help clean the area up to become a better place for the professional people who offer and use this service.
