But "Sunday Night Sex with Old Dog" doesn't really sound appealing though.

Ironically that is what the ex Mrs Old Dog thought too....

If you want a columnist for this topic, I would be willing to give it a shot. I have been in the business for over 15 years and have worked for agencies and independents and pre-Internet days. I also know quite a few ladies who's experiences and knowledge I could draw on.

I think "Ask Angela" has a nice ring to it.

In addition to questions, we could feature articles and links to other resources.

Yes, I could definitely seeing you doing that. You seem to have a way that draws other people towards you for advice. Why not offer it without any drama or b.s.?

On another note, you and I should team up ( since we do in everything else anyways) and do some writing given both of our years of service to to this industry and the fact that we work well together on a regular basis. I think there could be some interesting stories in the works. ;)

To me it would be nice to see some interviews of SP's, perhaps taken by other SPs, that show more of the real person behind the service. I realize this would probably mean hiding the identity of the actual SP, but that would be okay by me.

I think some genuine real-life stories would be good for the whole community...just my opinion.

I like your idea, Souperman. I think it would be interesting for people to know a bit more about our lives, why we're in this industry, etc., provided that they're written positively. We don't want to play into the hands of the folks who think we're all victims of unscrupulous traffickers, pimps and madams. Speaking for myself, I'm happy to admit that I got into the sex trade because I was in desperate circumstances, facing the loss of my children if I couldn't support them by myself. But I haven't found this to be a degrading, humiliating, dangerous or particularly demoralizing way to make a living at all. I love what I do.

And much to my surprise, and pleasure, when I started hobbying,I found the whole community of sp's and hobbiests to have mutual respect for one another, not to mention the ladies I have met to be friendly, personable and intelligent. A far cry from the stereotype that "mainstream" society would have us believe

I just wish I had been part of this commuity and started hobbying much much sooner in life

Thanks for the kind words. I've personally had some great experiences and some yucky ones through the years. While I have no problem with the community as a whole, I do find it disturbing that we all have a need for each other.

I don't mean to be a downer or to criticize, but it does bother me that we are all kind of in the same situation. I grew up beleiving in love and commitment and all of that stuff. And yet it all fell apart. I still beleive in love, though my age is working against me. It is disturbing that there just seems to be so little of it around.

For me, being with a real special SP is my way of trying to find some solitude from a civilization where love seems to have vanished. To spend some quality time with a wonderful lady and to try lose oneself, at least for awhile, is as important or perhaps more important as the physical activities. Let's face, no matter what, it is only when both the physical and mental aspects are right that anything really feels good.

Paradoxically, even when it is that good, we soon feel a little empty once that time has gone...the bittersweetness of a fine new memory followed by a longing for more.

I hope none of you mind the meanderings...
