Isabella Gia (Banned) 53881 Report post Posted September 2, 2010 A while ago I posted a thread about what us ladies mean when we post our ads and how sometimes they are misread giving a chance to explain that we would appreciate readers going through them a little more carefully. Today I was thinking how I have read a few ads where IMO the approach of some of the information provided is a little inappropriate (I may be wrong and not judging anyone for this) but made me realize I may have done that in one or more occasion and have not noticed. So I decided to post this for you gents to help us out and tell us a bit about what you do not like reading in an ad but please DO NOT MENTION ANY NAMES as the only purpose of the thread is us ladies getting some tips. Thanks :)
Guest s******ecan**** Report post Posted September 2, 2010 Dishonesty in any form either by commission or omission. Make sure you can back up whatever is on the website.
stevecurious 42059 Report post Posted September 2, 2010 One thing that I have noticed in some, but not all, advertisements are different colours and/or capital letters used within the body of the post. I find it very DIFFICULT and ANNOYING to try and read something that was TYPED with the "CAPS LOCK" on and in THREE or FOUR different colours.
Capital Hunter 18263 Report post Posted September 2, 2010 I don't like to see the use of vulgar or sexually explicit language in an ad. I click on the close (X) button immediately. I very much prefer that the escort acronyms to be used instead (i.e Daty instead of eating p**** or FS or sex or love making rather than f***), but that is me and I could be in minority. Happens on CL, more often that I care for lol!!!.
Andee 220524 Report post Posted September 2, 2010 Someone who is too arrogant touting that they're better than other SPs is always a turn off. ADS WRITTEN ALL IN CAPS Poor grammar and bad spelling - take a minute to proof your ad.
Isabella Gia (Banned) 53881 Report post Posted September 2, 2010 See? I have done that (using different colors) by paragraphs tho and try to use colors that match hehe, does that make the mistake smaller Steve? ;) One thing that I have noticed in some, but not all, advertisements are different colours and/or capital letters used within the body of the post. Guest S****an Report post Posted September 2, 2010 Hi Isabella- good thread. My vote would be overuse of uppercase or bold font in ads. It is appropriate in some instances (if used playfully and sparingly), but can convey a sense of hostility otherwise, and if you're looking for a lady who provides a laid back, relaxing session the tone of the ad has to convey that. A typical case is an admonition to use an unblocked number, all in bold caps, with plenty of exclamation marks. Good hobbyists understand that blocked numbers probably = time waster (or worse) for the lady and is very frustrating, but a polite request to use an unblocked number works better (for me at least). Guest W***ledi*Time Report post Posted September 2, 2010 Lack of discretion is a killer. For example -- best not to advertise the name of the hotel where you are staying, where the general public can see it!
whatsup 11893 Report post Posted September 3, 2010 Lack of discretion is a killer. For example -- best not to advertise the name of the hotel where you are staying, where the general public can see it! I like to see the general area but that doesn't give the exact location. That way I can get a very close approximation of travel time.

Agreed, anytime I see an exact address or hotel I become very suspicious that it is a scam.
Ilovegirls 588 Report post Posted September 3, 2010 This is a good topic. Some constructive suggestions can be useful. I agree with the points previously made. I personally don't like the ad to be explicit. An indication as to the type of service provided is enough without the details. All caps is hard to read. There should be a link or links for those interested in more information. These could be to a homepage, recommendations, etc. That can help keep the ad a bit shorter. I have seen some with no indication on how the lady wishes to be contacted.
Megan'sTouch 23875 Report post Posted September 3, 2010 Stuff that doesn't make sense. Eg. "I'm 5'5 85 pounds, 34DD" ummmm........ no. My favourite that I read about a month ago on I think on CL "I'm 18 years old. I'm highly educated." How you be 18 and highly educated, unless this is a child prodigy SP?? Grass_Hopper 18263 Report post Posted September 3, 2010 Stuff that doesn't make sense.Eg. "I'm 5'5 85 pounds' date=' 34DD" ummmm........ no. [/quote'] You did'nt know that she had fake breast?!? The only difference is that hers are filled with helium... ;-) No but seriously... Who cares about how much we weight? I weight 147lbs to be exact, 5'6", and I have a 27" waist, with is pretty much the average. If I write 150lbs in my ad, people will think I'm a BBW, wich I am really not! I rather advertise my measurements... 5'6", 36(A)-27-34...

capitalman 3861 Report post Posted September 3, 2010 Good thread. I've said this before in other threads, but I'll take the opportunity to repeat myself. I don't like reading rants from service providers about deadbeat clients or no shows or whatever, and I don't like ads that say things like: "I had a cancellation, so now I'm available." (no guy wants to think he's second best or just a number) "I'm working today." (No guy wants to know he's just part of your WORK...you're his fantasy! Can't you pretend we're your fantasy?) Ads that make me feel special and wanted and like I'm number one, and that help my fantasy that you are there just for me and only me, and that we will have the best chemistry and the best love connection ever ...those are the ads that turn me on and make me want to come see you!:handjob:
Old Dog 179138 Report post Posted September 3, 2010 I don't like reading ads that have: 1. Promises of duos with the undead - nothing is less sexy than a zombie gnawing at your cranium. 2. Ads written in Cyrillic text. I couldn't tell whether I was booking with Svetlana or Vladimir.... and Vlad had gone to an awful lot of effort to get ready for me... I felt bad when I canceled at the door. 3. Ads with words I don't understand. I have a very limited vocabulary. 4. Ads that say "no dogs allowed." They make me sad. 5. Ads that don't contain the letter "v" and the number "2". They were proud sponsors of Sesame Street on several occasions and they aren't given enough credence. 6. Ads that don't pay homage to the movie "Full Metal Jacket." Those Vietnamese girls knew how to hustle. 7. Ads that contain photos of Steven Seagal. He frightens me.
Gringo_Love 573 Report post Posted September 3, 2010 I am new to cerb and I am I interested in an escort experience (I have gone to a couple of massage parlors)...so right now I am very sensitive to the words used...I prefer the ads where the sp does not use coarse language...I also like those ads that seem clear about the sp's service ...I really like some idea of what she looks like...I am old school and I think part of what I am looking for is an indication that this is going to be a friendly intimate encounter...even if it's paid for...I look for similar qualities in almost any people related business Posted via Mobile Device
rickoshadows 937 Report post Posted September 3, 2010 I like to see the general area but that doesn't give the exact location. That way I can get a very close approximation of travel time. Nearest major intersection would be good general rule of thumb for most of us. Locations like downtown, east, west, etc. are useless. The limits of what is downtown differ from someone who has a vehicle at his disposal from someone who is walking.

PistolPete 61421 Report post Posted September 3, 2010 While looking ad's, I do not want exact location but crossing streets or in fact East/West/South/North and Hull. I would of given rep points whatsup, but I have to share, great point, because we are wasting time, emailing, pming or exchanging phone calls. I like to see the general area but that doesn't give the exact location. That way I can get a very close approximation of travel time.
