Ava Foxx 1747 Report post Posted September 3, 2010 Personally, I think you did the right thing. I've learned to always trust my instincts. Plus, even if he turned out to be a nice guy, you yourself would not have been comfortable and it's only fair to both you and the client to go into a meeting with enthusiasm otherwise it makes for a less than stellar experience ;). chavez 641 Report post Posted September 3, 2010 Hi Raven, certainly you did the right thing, and yes maybe you picked up on a vibe that wasn't intended. We guys can get our tongues twisted sometimes and what we want to say is not what is heard. By leaveing the door open you gave him a chance to back-up and start over gain at a different time, and if he is really interrested he will do that. However men are sensative creature too. If you cold shoulder him again he should , and probably will, read that as rejection, and that is what it should be. If he doesn't understand that as rejection, that is when to worry. Oh and can you give me a few leasons in "cutsey". Jeez all I got is honesty, straight forwardness, affection and how do the say " a real gentleman". I could use some of that "cutsey" stuff.... chavez
