What Does YYMV really mean??

Recommended Posts

Most of us know YYMV stands for Your Mileage May Vary but for what I have noticed we all have a different idea of what it means.

So question for ladies would be what are the things you put under consideration to apply this term?

And for the gents , has your experience with this been very different from one lady to another? What I mean is when seeing a lady, have you noticed many things done different from what she originally offered?

I have the idea that most of us (escorts) base this in hygiene and attitude but lately I have heard a couple of situations where something else may have made the lady apply this so I'm curious to know what it means to you.

Thank you in advance to the ones that will share :)

What I think it means is for xtra or questionable services, dfk, lfk, bbbj, daty (and others) it depends most often on the client, more specifically, his hygeine, appearance and/or attitude towards these type of services and the sp in general, including his familiarity with the sp. First time with a girl not surprised when some (or most) of these are off the menu. Some of the menu items can be more personal and the sp requires a comfort level before it's on the table. Sorry, not surmising for the girl's but it's kind of been the tacit implication in my experience. And damn good question Isabella. Bravo!

I believe everything varies, if it doesn't than I am not reactive to my partner and instead would just be going through the motions. When I see somebody that experience is unique, that person will not have the same date as someone else nor should they expect too. I may meet one date and enjoy a leisurely conversation, wine, candles and sensual seduction. I may meet another person the following week where we are insatiable in our sexual appetites, conversation goes almost no where but sexual chemistry is through the roof. One can't predict that chemistry nor do I believe in faking or forcing it, letting our personal interests and curiosity in our partner dictate the pace allows for a greater exploration of our own sexuality.

What I enjoy with one person is never the same with another partner, thus everything varies depending on who I connect with on that particular day.

In addition to the great points by Kyra and Isabella, my understanding from a Gent's perspective when writing or reading a Rec is that the experience may simply put vary. If I write a glowing Rec it is because I had a great time, for me that often has a lot to do with chemistry which of course could differ significantly for the next person.

Also YMMV could also cover situations that are more practical in nature (ie some ladies that offer Anal may not be willling to offer that service to clients who are particulary well endowed).

Ladies may also change the services or style offered over time (such as no longer offering BBBJ, or PSE etc). Older Rec's may specifically mention that those items were on the menu, since Rec aren't updated its always wise to review the lady's website or ask her instead of assuming these will be provided based on an older Rec.

For me, as a male hobbiest, I am always of the opinion that what I experience will not be what someone else experienced with the same lady. We are all different and unique individuals who respond to different stimuli at various points. Basically when I read a recommendation, a post or a ladies website I always take the position of "this activity is a possibility but not a certainty." I prefer to think this way as it does not create a level of expectancy nor does it pressure anyone to provide or perform a certain way as these are definite no no's in my book. Personally speaking I have found that if there is mutual respect and trust in a meeting than your mileage will be good...quite good. However, as in a lot of things if you lie, cheat or are disrespectful than your mileage will be poor and your ride...short!

I think along the lines of Kyra, to say that there is a list of items that the sp does, and some clients will go in expecting to have each and every one of them. To do this might end up being a real scripted session (i.e. first a kiss, then a bjs, onto daty, onto mpos, etc etc) rather than the possibility that the natural flow means no daty, or massage or so on and so on.

The easiest one to view is in the case of a bbbj being on the list, and this one may or may not happen either because it is a first visit, the hygiene is not there, or she is in general moving away from bbbjs but has not taken it off the menu, or she might only do a bbbj after visual inspection, etc.

Some sps want to do away with listing acronyms at all, as they feel stuck into the options and away from the total experience. I am not sure that is a great idea, but I do agree that a certain segment of clients look for a list before they look for an sp they are going to be compatible with or may have a better time with. The absence or presence of a bbbj is far more important to them, in other words, and if the bbbj comes with a ymmv they are likely to pass.

I start by being fairly selective, and generally choose the SP's who have been around for a while and are known.(reviewed or lacking negative comments from several sources) One of the reasons is I want them to be there next time I call, and never have the first encounter unless I think I'll want to repeat. I think a good GFE experience should include kissing, although it's one of the restrictions I think you see the most. It should also include reciprocal unrestricted oral. Lastly, I expect a bit of chatting, snuggled up afterwards.

On the first date, I'm always ready to accept the ladies restictions, but make them aware of my needs if I'm to repeat. Hopefully, you've developed a raport and you have agreed on where you're allowed to go on subsequent visits.

Well, thank you all for the input and experiences shared. As I commented in the original post and the ladies here have confirmed my perception is/was that this is based on several factors like hygiene, attitude, chemistry, mood, etc. and IMO all those are acceptable however, lately I have been hearing one that I find should not be considered YYMV but unprofessionalism and that is appearance. Why would this matter? It really upsets me that someone after advertising a list of services offered once seeing the client will suddenly come up with 'I'm not into it today', and change her services saying touching/kissing is not allowed. Then why not mentioning it before? :-x

There, I said it, did not want to be that specific but looks like I had no choice.
