wellhunghfx 294 Report post Posted September 24, 2010 I noticed sometimes I click on links to other SP sites etc and the first thing I'm greeted with is loud music. Anyone else find it hard when viewing from the office or after hours at home to remember to turn down the volume everytime.
fortunateone 156618 Report post Posted September 24, 2010 music blaring as soon as you enter any website (maybe especially sp sites) = bad bad bad idea. Option to listen to music with an icon to click = great idea. Best example is anyone looking at any youtube link or if it is in a post somewhere, you know that music or sound is going to pop up and can turn down your sound, or up, whatever the circumstances. But it is unexpectedly jarring and probably inappropriate on an escort site lol. Also, I am not sure if sps who use music on their sites have secured the rights to use it there, and should look into the legalities of this before including it on their (commericial) site. Cowboy kenny 50799 Report post Posted September 24, 2010 I've voiced my opinion about this numerous times before and agree. While a lady might want the website to reflect who she is, it doesn't say much for the ability to be discrete now does it. The other aspect is sometimes the selection of music is not appropriate, while the song maybe yet another reflection of who the sp is some blaring techno club music or gangsta rap isn't necessarily appealing to the older more mature client many sp's seek it could serve as a counter productive measure. mod 135640 Report post Posted September 24, 2010 Many years designing websites and this is a BAD idea on a escort site. Discretion is NUMBER ONE with almost everyone in this business. It is foolish for ladies to put music on the site that automatically turns on (OR VIDEO THAT TURNS ON INSTANTLY WITH AUDIO)... bad bad bad idea.... omehgosh 736 Report post Posted September 24, 2010 I'm in agreement - music is not such a good idea... I keep the volume on my computer up so that I can hear notifications such as reminders and incoming email... I don't think to turn it down before going to an SP's site - it's really bad when I visit a lady's site and suddenly music starts blaring... Not cool to say the least. Stated so eloquently by WIT - lol - ... ixnay on the usicmay, I say.
stevecurious 42059 Report post Posted September 25, 2010 I have visited a couple of ladies websites where music, be it soft and sensual or loud and throbbing, starts as soon as you access the site and although I realise she is indeed trying to set the mood it is in fact a mood killer. It is too bad because the sights I am thinking of are quite well done and very classy but when the audio is factored in I can not afford to continue viewing. This causes me to miss out on some very well done websites...well miss out until my SO is not at home. But as most people know you never get a second chance to make a good first impression. roamingguy 300292 Report post Posted September 25, 2010 Happened only once or twice to me. The thought crossing my mind is if the website shows lack of discretion how discrete is the SP I'm not ashamed I'm hobbying, but like any intimate activity carried on by adults, it should be, IMHO carried on in private, with discretion on both SP's and Hobbiests part...loud music, or any sounds for that matter should not automaticly come on Hope that make sense RG
