40ishsxaddict 203 Report post Posted September 30, 2010 Xtra thin, ridges, added sensations, his/her pleasure...etc. etc. etc. I wanted to ask you ladies if any of the 100 different types of condoms actually do anything extra for you... what is your favorite and why?.... same for lubes, any recommendations or types to stay away from?... or is it all just another marketing SCAM!.... I'm just curious because i've had lady friends who say some of the creams/lubes/extras just burn or irritate rather than 'add to the sensation'.... as well i've never had anyone say...."WOW those condoms were incredible! you've got to buy them again!"... Guest S**a*Q Report post Posted September 30, 2010 Condoms are condoms, however, I do notice that Trojans are very "latexy" but the magnums are the biggest ones around, that have the most room in them... In that case I'll make due. Durex, "ONE" condoms seem to be made smaller than normal, or I could be on crack... But I'm pretty sure that there is a noticeable difference, when I"m trying to jam them bastards on. I recently tried Durex Studded for her Pleasure or something, it just made me laugh, not because it was Studded for My Pleasure, but I wondered if someone sat there stamping in all the little divots of "pleasure" hahahah Lubes, I'm a fan of spitting in my hand, it's cheap and readily available... Hahaha just kidding, olive oil or motor oil is something that I always have around so why not...? HAHAHHA again I'm just kidding... Lubes, the best one that I've tried so far was Liquid Silk, it's a silicone water based blend and is AMAZING!!! It's pricier than others, but I HATE HATE HATE that stickiness that comes with lube... Honestly... ask anyone.. I don't normally need lube. Hahahaha!

I despise condons that has special effects and warm sensations. It is not the condom that matters but how much i desire the guy and the enthusiasm he shows at been at the mercy of my carnal desires. I think the more simple a condom is the better. It has only to be well adapted to my lover that's all! However if i am with super hot guy willing to f the hell of me the way i enjoy getting it, i prefer Kimono, the japonese brand. It fells like skin to skin mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Any lube that has sugar or scent it is against female pelvic area you will just make your lady sick if your lube has perfume or sugar in it. The best lube is a generous lover curious to find out what and how i enjoy getting it and then been gracious enough to give it to me as i prefer! Guest S**a*Q Report post Posted September 30, 2010 note to self...when seeing Sarah...place own condom on...... HAHAHAH, No I only used those in my personal life... and only twice, I gave up on them when I couldn't figure it out... My buddy was like, "Ummm don't you put these on ALL the time" I don't JAM them on... well normally ;) hehehe... I do remember that if I jam it on, you will jam it in... It's only fair ;) Hahahaha! Probably Humpa-lumpas at willy-wonka's condom factory... Hihihi For me, it doesnt matter much. The thin ones work well for sensation as well as the "extra lubed" kind but in the end, condoms are condoms as you eloquently put it, Sara.
Guest G***f****** Report post Posted September 30, 2010 Shape matters. I tried the Trojan thins, and it felt like I was being squeezed. The Durex Sensi-Thins however are wider at the head, and fit like a glove. As for lube, I recently tried a version of Astroglide called X. It goes on very thin, not thick like their other ones. No scent, no flavor, and best of all not sticky! Very slick and long lasting too.
Andee 220524 Report post Posted September 30, 2010 I like lifestyles condoms - easy to put on. I don't generally need lube, but when I do, just good old generic brand k-y jelly works fine for me. I HATE Trojans - terrible smell and taste and leave me burning!

I HATE Trojans - terrible smell and taste and leave me burning! I agree, plus Trojans are overpriced for what you get. However, as mentioned, we are kind of stuck with their Magnums for XLs. Lifestyles ultrasensitive or similar, the very thin whatever it is, seem stronger, and allow more sensation. Trojans smell nasty, and that is not a good thing for the aftereffects of fs. I have also tried the Durex Avanti Bare, and while they are great for more warmth and feeling, they do not taste so great. I have never tried Kimono, but always hear great things about them. I think also Crown.

Too thick is right - a friend of mine told me it was like he had a kitchen catcher plastic bag on his dick. All I could visualize was the Man from Glad. VedaSloan 119179 Report post Posted October 1, 2010 For condoms I stick to Crowns--they're not thick or smelly--and they're pink :) For lube I swear by Pjur Woman (it's silicone based and lasts FOREVER) and if I'm playing with toys or there is going to be FS action, I use the water based version Pjur Woman Aqua. BarrhavenWoody 10776 Report post Posted October 2, 2010 My date tried some new lube that she thought would be fun. It was supposed to tingle, but it burned. I thought my dick was on fire. I had to stop and take a shower to wash it off before we could continue.

Guest S**a*Q Report post Posted October 2, 2010 I have to say that Trojans Magnums are the ones that I've found are the biggest. They are (or seem to be) much larger than the Durex or Lifestyle Large. They aren't as bad latex-scent wise. But there seems to be a lot more room in the width. They just go on better. Touch 57501 Report post Posted October 16, 2010 This is an interesting thread with several paradoxes. I have seen condoms called “translators”; they are after all the intermediaries between you and your partner. Others have noted “a condom is a condom”; of course you want to focus on your partner not doing a Consumers Reports review in your head of the characteristic of that particular brand of condom. But I was impressed by the rather strong dislikes of certain condoms and lubes. Naturally it would seem important to find out if your partner has any strong dislikes in this respect, but to do it quickly not to spoil the mood. Myself, I like the Avanti Bare for the heat transmission, but I always bring a thin latex, like a Kimono, for women who don’t like non-latex condoms. I personally love KY’s warming jelly; some women love, others don’t -- I think it has glycerine in it and it is sticky (which I like) and the slight warming sensation is activated by friction. But I usually bring a silicone lube like Pjur Eros and something traditional like Astroglide (I will look out for the Silk version that was mentioned next time I am shopping) -- I like to make sure my partner is comfortable with whatever we choose to use. One escort brought “Oh My…” lube which I have to admit was quite good too. Worst case: I had a Halifax escort insist that I wear TWO condoms one on top of the other -- saying sometimes condoms break. Of course I complied, but it felt ridiculous at best! Has this ever happened to anyone else? (I stopped going to Halifax after that and have kept my “hobbying” trips to Montreal.) Guest W***ledi*Time Report post Posted October 16, 2010 ... Worst case: I had a Halifax escort insist that I wear TWO condoms one on top of the other -- saying sometimes condoms break ... I would think that wearing two condoms may actually increase the likelihood of breakage and condom failure -- due to friction between the two condoms. They're not designed to be used like that. Guest S**a*Q Report post Posted October 16, 2010 Liquid Silk lube (By Bodywise ) is a silicone water based blend that is safe to use with all toys and condoms. They also make another thicker lube called Maximus, which is more geared to anal and masturbation due to the consistency. http://www.liquidsilk.com/ Something a little more cost effective and very close to the Liquid Silk brand is Sliquid, it's a little cheaper but very close to the liquid silk. http://www.sliquid.com/index.htm I know that these lubes can be found online or in some of the stores around here in Ottawa
Touch 57501 Report post Posted October 16, 2010 I found this description of Liquid Silk. It sounds great except for the comment about the taste. Can anyone here comment of the taste? "Liquid Silk has a creamy consistency and contains a small amount of silicone (it's more like a water-based lubricant, so it may not work well for water sex and won't harm silicone sex toys). When it dries up, it leaves skin feeling moisturized, not tacky. Liquid Silk washes off easily and is odor-free, but has a bad, chemical-like taste. It comes in two sizes; the large bottle has a pump top while the small size has a flip top." Touch

I switched to Pjur Woman because it has NO TASTE AT ALL and lasts forever.
