ElissaMarie 4310 Report post Posted April 2, 2016 I hope I am starting this thread in the right section,I considered doing so in the Ottawa Discussion but this may interest people in other cities. In my personal life I use Twitter all the time so when I saw that members here have an alternate account for this I opened mine and have been reading tweets from ladies and gentlemen. I noticed some of the ladies use hashtags in their announcements which makes sense as it gets to more people but my question is, how good is that? When I opened mine I did it so that members from Lyla can follow me but I'm not sure I want to get the attention of people from outside the community/lifestyle, I noticed one particular tweet from a lady who used #Ottawa as part of her announcement and it was favorited by a hotel Twitter account which I think is odd but perhaps I'm just too cautious so my question is how much exposure is too much exposure on Twitter? I asked before if I should keep my account private and with the help from the responses I got I realized as long as I don't post anything compromising I should not be concerned but what about the hashtags? Ladies I'd appreciate hearing from your experience, is using hashtag for the city fine or does using #OttawaEscort or similar a better/more discreet choice? Meaghan McLeod 179664 Report post Posted April 2, 2016 The only people on my twitter account are those in the industry somehow. However, I do get followers that I do not know - so I do not follow them, until I get a sense of who they are. I don't know the answer though to hashtags. Hopefully someone will chime in.
Midnite-Energies 110563 Report post Posted April 2, 2016 Personally I would limit hashtags to those that either directly hit industry folks or hobbyists or at least the people who are open and into the same sort of interests (IE: bigbooty, datass etc.) especially as you stated you wnat to be discrete. To my thinking, if you do a lot of outcalls and show your face, creating a broad hashtag for your city has the potential to open some not so good doors. I know from working in hotels that they have people flagged with pictures to keep an eye out so anyone hashtagging certain locations or cities could unknowingly put themselves on the "aware" list. This doesn't mean they can't follow an escort hashtag but it does limit exposure. At least you're limiting where you might get re-tweeted to. There are those who are very open and have weighed the risks for themselves personally, and it is a personal choice. Good luck!!
