Although I salute the alternative, this would allow LE to compare our pictures aswell.

 

Do I really need my photos to be compared by LE to see what hotel I'm working from? Absolutely not...

Exactly... That's what I was thinking as well. Although, the new law has been in place for over a year and a half, and it seems that LE have pretty much left consenting adults alone.

My vote is this is a good thing. Sex trafficking is a terrible thing and I hope this helps them shut even some of it down and help some of those caught up in it. There's also no reason to think from this article that trafficking remains the primary concern of law enforcement, which is as it should be.

 

I can't say I really see how it would be used much by police for finding legitimate and independent escorts. I mean, if they really wanted to meet or find some, that's pretty much something they can do already, and more easily than using this kind of tool.

I think its a great tool. Anything to help those being trafficked.

 

One thing I learned along time ago, don't use pictures that can identify where you actually work from. I have heard of some where the landlord was clearly able to see due to some specific architecture, that his tenant was working from her apartment.

 

If you want to use a hotel for photo shoots, use a hotel that you don't work out of. Change the bedding, use a section that is not obvious.

 

However, if you are not being trafficked - you don't really have anything to worry about.

Education on what are the signs of human trafficking, clients to be able to turn a sp down if he thinks she is too young, and also, to be able to detect those who encourage it.

 

Guys, some of you have to put their pants back on, and be able to say: ''No, you look too young.'' instead of wondering all session long if she is 18.

I completely agree with this. Another obvious red flag is the 'she just laid there' and/or 'she doesn't seem interested' or 'she said no the the services that she agreed to on the phone (or text)'. Clue in, she said no in person because you weren't talking or texting her, it was someone else, getting you to the door. She isn't 'into it' because she actually is being forced to be there, she isn't just lazy or a scammer. She doesn't know what she's doing, also, cuz she is actually 14 years old.

 

seriously, it isn't that hard. And THEN you REPORT her ad/phone # to LE. And they can follow thru.

 

The phone app is there also because there is a myth that all sex work is sex trafficking, all sps are victims, all being forced and exploited. The app is not necessarily a good thing, and it will be used against the US sps by L E to go and find and arrest them, first and foremost. After that, maybe a couple of underage unwilling (they will find underage willing independent ones of course) might possibly be collected with the hundreds and thousands of adult and willing sex workers.

 

Because they don't actually do the hard stuff, then they will report about how many victims they saved, when in fact it is victims of L E harassment and they were all arrested and charged, not saved from anything. Numbers games.
