I tend to use leads through LYLA and other boards (national and international) to help with my decision making. While it is fun to look, I rarely use that as my only source. First check to see if the photos are stolen. If in chrome, you can right click on any photo and search google for the image. If it comes up all over the world, then it is likely a fake ad or at least fake photos. Tineye.com is also normally good for that although I have been having trouble getting that site to pull up photos lately. Next, I come here. Search the recommendation section as well as the discusion section we are in now. (Search is in the top right corner of any discusion section.) Chances are this sp will have her Reply feature turned on, so you can contact by email, so she can send her website that way. she may not include her phone number, for example, to ensure you have to contact her that way and get the website first. if she has a phone #, and wants texts, she might respond with her site. I find that great pics are not always a sign of fake pics, but that the sp is legit with a site and rep, but the restrictions of backpage means she can't show you that with a site link. if the pics are more casual, whether she has a site or not, chances are people will assume the pics are real, i imagine. You can google the phone number, and see what comes up. An sp who is not fully sketchy advertises in multiple places, so you should see the number linking to other ads and other ad sites. be wary of the single ad sp, it's not a complete red flag, but it might be something to be concerned about. even fake pics doesn't mean the sp is fully sketchy. A thief, and ignorant about copyright protection, and there is always an excuse about how their family is going to recognize the neck to knee body shot is them, but i've seen good reviews of sps with stolen pics, so who knows. A lot of honest, professional ladies post on Backpage. I'm tired of hearing everyone bash that site. For my purpose, it's quick and easy to post an ad in almost any city around the world for a very small price...AND yes, I hear ya about the bogus ads...Too bad they don't weed out the f**ktards and/or their pimps who want to rip people off and make it hard for the rest of us to ply our trade honestly. Serafina 1060 Report post Posted October 7, 2016 As mentioned above, real and reputable SPs post on BP indeed. Specially in smaller cities where they aren't many or local advertisement sites. It's also the go to site for the traveller or the newbie who doesn't necessarily know local sites and wants to meet girls "on the go". If you're searching through and are not sure about something, google her pics (tineye, etc), her name, her number... The pictures will be somewhere else if they are fake, or on her website. Many legit providers put in directly their website info and often watermark their pics with her name or website, that's a great way to know she's real. My usual advice is, be diligent in your search, search the pics, read her website if she has one and most importantly talk to her (emails, calls, whatever). Emails will tell you a lot about the person you're communicating with. If you have a doubt or it seems sketchy, move on. SPs take the time to screen clients to make sure they'll be safe. There's always going to be some bogus ads. unfortunately that hurts us the ones that are actually real. I'am new to this site. Actually a client informed me about it just recently and i joined.
