GoddessHRC 8411 Report post Posted September 29, 2016 So I will be working in the Toronto area next week, and was hoping that those with experience in the GTA scene could give me a bit of help. Do you think I should stay in the downtown core? Or is the airport district a better locale? Downtown.. easy access to subway.. and stores if you need Cons.. airport can be easy access for travelling off the hwy and from other areas like mississauga, brampton, vaughn.. etc. Cons.. downtown.. parking is often a major issue.. more noise.. and obviously more traffic. hotels are generally more expensive 2 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Taylor, Olivia Devine 16934 Report post Posted December 30, 2016 Ive worked in both downtown and the airport as well as other areas of Toronto, I found it busy really in most areas in Toronto. Hotels tend to be cheaper outside of the downtown core however. I did a lot of outcalls when I worked in downtown area.
