Is there a fundraising or charity group on this site?

Just wondering if there is a section here that allows us to post links for go-fund- me.

I have a dear friend who is a memeber here and she desperately needs help. She is in need of a surgury that is only offered in US and is 20g! She has tried for 9 months to get her fundraising going and sadly no one donated. She now is changing her fundraiser as a donation for her bucket list wish. I have been trying so hard to help her spread the word via facebook...bit still hasnt took off.

 

I dont even know of I was allowed to even post this, but oh well. Would be nice if we had a charity group.

I believe you can have have problems with Go Fund Me because it works in US dollars.

She is using generosity site and is in CAD. Her last attempt and trying to raise funds :(

She told me about her health issues when I met her a short while ago. She is quite the lady and I hope that she does not have to move forward with her 'plan'. She actually has put a link on her website. I didn't really want to share since I didn't think it was my place, but she has started revealing it on her own. I hope she is able to get funding or other help. It is terrible that this type of medical issue is happening in Canada.
