What not to say??

Recommended Posts

Forgive me if this has been asked before but I couldn't find a thread that fit the description.

What do you reveal to the men in your pm's? When they ask you explicit things that would clearly be illegal? Like do you offer bj in your massage sessions. do you enjoy oral, ect. Do you girls answer things like this in pm,s and emails? I know we need to let the guys know what we like (and love!) but couldn't that get us busted if let's say it was LE pming us?(knock wood). Is it ok to say anything in pm's/emails? Thoughts?

To the best of my knowledge, communicating for the purposes of prostitution is illegal in a public place or within public view. Electronic messages are not considered a place.

Thank you! Well that is a HUGE load off my mind. :) So from now on I will only be giving juicy details in emails ect and not when I post in the advertising section and hopefuly don't upset the LE.

Also thank you MODs for the trial on EC! I don't know what we'd do without you guys! :) I shall definitly become a long-time member, so glad we can go back to being proffesional ladies and no more having to deal with cl crap. I feel safer already.

It's not illegal for you to discuss or post rates/services in ads. I haven't checked but it simply might be the policy of this particular site to not allow rates in ads, so you should feel perfectly free to provide that info to anyone who pms, or direct them maybe to your EC ad for more info than you can provide by pm?

I just got the impression that you think that sex work is illegal, with that reference to LE, and you should be assured that it is not. When discussing things in public, that pretty much means what happens with a street worker situation, not someone asking or providing the information on a phone call, or email.

The only restriction on posting rates are directed to the hobbiest. SP are allowed to post their rates as per ads posting restrictions.

The below quotes from the Rules & FAQ:

Guys, do not post rates of the ladies and please do not try to get the ladies to lower prices! Discussions here are not to be based on prices. The ladies have the right to choose the price they wish to charge and they have the right to post their rates publicly if they wish to. Even with the ladies permission we ask that you do not post the ladies prices.

well I wasn't asking about posting prices. If it is illegal to "solicite" for the persoses of prost. Doesn't that mean it is illegal to advertize? How sure are we that internet advertising doesn't count?

Let's say a nosey neighbour called and said to them- I see men comming and going all hours of the night to that single (gorgeous) females apt.

How do the LE determine you are indeed escorting out of your apt? What do they use as evidence? Do they just watch your building? How would they know which suite the clients were going to? Can they just bust down anyones door in the city and say we got complaints of lot's of visitors here, we're searching the place and taking your computer/phone?? Don't they need some kind of proof before hand? Like say all your posts on the net. That is the only proof on earth I am an escort. Just confused, I'd rather know the law before I bend it. Right? Didn't they take the last girls computer? Why if what we say online and in emails is ok???

The issue in that case is that, based on your post, you are doing incalls, which is illegal (keeping a common bawdy house)

With that having been said, if you do nothing to attract your neighbors attention, you should be ok...but if you have hobbiest's coming and going at all hours, you would attract attention

If your incall is discrete (ie 1 customer/day) and not attracting the attention of your neighbors, you should be ok

My 2 cents

No sure how they would do that Summer. Now i am no expert in the law, but i was told that the resources are better spent on the girls that are on the street because they more often do it for drugs and most likely have pimps. Hence they put themselves at greater risk. The Lady that does this out of her house in not the prime target, but if they happen to find out some info they check it out. BTW.. I think all the Ladies put themselves at risk.

IMO, I don't think there is a difference between posting the "menu" on your website, discussing it on the phone or sending it via an email or pm. Someone can print your website pages , pm's or emails and they can just as easily record a phone call - it is all very similar. In the end, I don't think much can be done until there is a face-to-face meeting. They would somehow have to physically link you to all of the above before anything could be done.
