I know that there are established SP's in Moncton, but good luck meeting someone new. Almost everyone I reach out to that is new either wants etransfer before meeting up(yeah right...) or is spotty on replying or just doesn't keep appointments. And almost half of the ads are fakes (tineyed). I feel like it ruins it for hobbyists and SP's alike. I just had two girls today say they want etransfer before they meet me. Like wth? You want to ask a few questions and after a couple of texts they say shit like "you want to meet up or not? You're wasting my time". I fell like saying " I am about to drop at least a couple hundred, do I not deserve to ask a few questions for my own security and safety." The ladies on LYLA are amazing, very professional, kind, but a lot of the ones posting on backpage etc, seem to be either shady or dodgy. I dunno. I think I might have to quit being a hobbyist. People are becoming too unreliable. What seems to happen often as well is you book a time and then once you message them shortly before to confirm, no answer. justhavingfun 966 Report post Posted August 1, 2017 I have pretty much shutdown being a hobbyist while in NB due to lack of quality of service (there are a few sp's here that are amazing) but for the most part it's either fake bait and switch ads, upselling, drug use, crappy (they're doing us a favor attitudes).. I don't cancel appointments, I don't ask a million questions, I would never even begin to haggle on a donation and always treat with respect but some of the people I contact just turn me off of this hobby completely. If they don't have a website how am I to know what the donation is so when I ask and get scolded for asking simple questions it's an instant blacklist for me. Luckily I still get back to AB often where I started in this hobby and while rates are higher (not saying higher rates equals better service cause that simply isn't true) I have built up regulars that I can depend on and keep me in this hobby. justhavingfun 966 Report post Posted August 1, 2017 I know the woman of our industry get a loads of messages and unfortunately can be guys just wanting to chat with no intention of booking, people making take bookings, ect. I keep this in mind and also don't discuss services over text unless I have met them previously... maybe I am catching some of these girls on a bad day but when I contact with my handle, date/time for availability, and ask donation request it's a put off to get responses that come across as if I am not serious about booking and wasting there time. justhavingfun 966 Report post Posted August 2, 2017 I have recently chosen to limit the sp's I see to just a couple and luckily my ATF comes to NS and PEI a couple times a year. I personally find it very rewarding to wait and meet while she is here... Once you find the sp's that you connect with spoil them, treat them with respect and stay loyal.
