Maverick 2873 Report post Posted January 6, 2011 As far as I know it is legal for independent service providers to operate out of their homes/apartments/hotels as long as the arrangements made between you and her are done so privately (e.g. over the phone, over the internet). Honestly, I'm pretty sure massage parlors are more unsafe than respectable independents (many of which can be found here on CERB). Lastly, even if you were caught in a police raid, I think the police would just let the clients go and charge the people running the parlor/brothel/whatever (like the way cops crack down on drug dealers and not minor drug users). Unfortunately only outcalls are legal in Canada. Incalls are illegal however for low volume SP there has been little trouble. Previous threads on cerb seem to indicate that a majority of incall SP had no problems with law enforcement. Again, unfortunately some law enforcement agencies would charge the clients as well or at least force them to go thru John School. If you want to be 100% safe stick with outcalls.
Lowdark 5613 Report post Posted January 6, 2011 To my knowledge, the MAs who offer incalls on CERB have never encountered any difficulty. I believe many of them offer outcalls to reputable clients as well. MAs are probably a far safer bet than parlours as they are more visible and I'd wager that in many they have a nasty turnover (possibly leading to disgruntled former employees?). Do some research on the ones who advertise on CERB and I'm sure you'll find a beautiful, graceful lady who offers everything that your looking for. As long as there only 1 lady there , 3 or more is a common body house . YES your right ,can be charged at Rub & Tug . as for " John School " Cops don't send you there , the judge does . Keep discreet and see an independent
SamanthaEvans 166767 Report post Posted January 7, 2011 There are plenty of threads with accurate legal information on this board. Please read them and make sure you understand the risks you and your MA or companion may or may not be taking. When massage parlors are raided by the police, the owners are usually charged with running a common bawdy house, living off the avails of prostitution, etc. The men who are there at the time are charged with being found in a common bawdy house. It is illegal for a companion to offer erotic services from her home. Doing this "regularly" qualifies as operating a common bawdy house, even if she is the only person who lives and works there. If she rents the place, the landlord may be charged with living off the avails of prostitution. If she has a partner or spouse, whether they're in the sex trade or not, they may be charged with living off the avails, too, because they are benefitting from the companion's income. However, it is rare for independent providers to be charged if they work discretely and don't create a disturbance in the neighbourhood. We're not seen as trouble-makers and so the police rarely pay attention to us. It is illegal for a companion to offer services from a hotel room that she has rented (it becomes a bawdy house). However, it is NOT illegal for her to meet someone in HIS hotel room and exchange services for money there. Providers who offer this kind of outcall service are working completely legally. It's also perfectly legal for a companion to go to a client's home, though for safety reasons, many will do outcalls to hotels but not to private residences. See an independent escort! Exchange e-mail with her and talk to her on the phone. Get to know her a little bit before you see her and you'll be sure to have a very nice time. You'll also know that she gets to keep 100% of the fee you pay since there's no agency taking a substantial cut.
mod 135640 Report post Posted January 7, 2011 As far as I know it is legal for independent service providers to operate out of their homes/apartments/hotels as long as the arrangements made between you and her are done so privately. this is not true. any in call even with just one lady is considered a common bawdy house if she see's more then one customer at this same location. if she was to rent a hotel room for your date and only use it with you... that would not be a common place of prostitution. that in call would b legal so a gray area exists here. out calls are 100% legal as long as nothing is in public view and nothing is discussed In a public place. any massage spa offering a sexual service (any form of prostitution) is illegal and a common bawdy house. rubbing the genitals is a gray area but bj's .. fs .... those places will eventually be raided...it is just a matter of when. As long as there only 1 lady there , 3 or more is a common body house . this information is not correct. you are very wrong in assuming this and whoever told you this is also wrong. info like this is what gets ladies into trouble! please... read the laws before you quote them! thank you to everyone who took the to correct this bad info! waterrat 1261 Report post Posted January 7, 2011 It all becomes more complicated with the stay in Bedford v. Canada (Atty Gen). Lots has been said about the case here so I will not repeat. However, if you are a police chief looking at where you are going to apply scarce resources, you are not going to invest the time it takes to investigate and prosecute an SP or MP with the likelihood that the court is going to throw the case out on the same constitution grounds as Bedford. Much better to concentrate on "guns and gangs" and cases where there are community complaints. If, of course, an SP or MP creates a nuisance then there will be a call to investigate. qwertyaccount 15793 Report post Posted January 7, 2011 Exactly, I would assume that the ladies on cerb are discreet and do not even appear on LE radar! Generally, you don't bother LE, LE won't bother you like speeding 110km/h on the 401. Most LE hate paperwork and would rather drink coffee and eat donuts. P.S. To any LE's reading this, it was a joke!
Guest W***ledi*Time Report post Posted January 7, 2011 Discretion? Absolutely. But while carefully steering clear of any alarmism (which is definitely unwarranted), bear in mind that of course no degree of discretion is absolutely foolproof. All it takes is one nosey neighbour or thoughtless client, and the potential is there for unwanted attention. Some neighbours-from-hell can manage to find, or imagine, a nuisance in virtually anything. For example, there was a case here in Halifax last year, brought to the police's attention with a complaint. The home was put under surveillance. Vice officers observed a mere four different men visiting the house over a one-week period, and then conducted a sting during which a genital massage was offered. Arrest made. (http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=20041&page=4) While you'd think the police would have something better to expend their scarce resources on than such a low-volume situation, you'd not always be right. Discretion is necessary, but it is not sufficient to provide 100% in-call immunity from Law Enforcement. Dang close to 100%, it seems -- but not 100%. Meg O'Ryan 266444 Report post Posted January 7, 2011 Very well put WIT! I must say that, I for one, have ensured that I am atleast acquainted with the neighbours and have fostered a congenial relationship. Not only that, but a great cover story goes a long way! I won't say what I have told my neighbours it is that I do but it certainly eliminates any queries as to the comings and goings during the day! A little planning and consideration for the imagination of your street mates can lessen the risk to practically zero! I laid out the ground work before even starting. JoyfulC 132299 Report post Posted January 7, 2011 We had the nosiest, most intrusive neighbors ever at the last place we lived in Ottawa. But amazingly, they never seemed to clue in to my business. (If they had, I'm sure they would have reported me; and if that didn't work, I could see them being the types to photo/video every guest I had--yep, they were just that obnoxious!! The whole neighbourhood despised them, and we moved because we got to where they were so annoying, it was ruining our enjoyment of our home.) I made arrangements to see new visitors at another SP's location, just in case, until we moved. You never know when The Neighbours From Hell will move in next door. in2funtimes 483 Report post Posted November 3, 2015 I only go where the service is provided at a private residence. I know by their conversations several work associates have the same hobby but would hate to bump into one at a parlor, I wouldn't want anyone having that sort of knowledge about my private pass time.
