Grass_Hopper 18263 Report post Posted January 7, 2011 Winter is here and you are sneezing a little bit or feeling stiff in the muscles? There's nothing bad about it. Maybe a flu or a cold... Why not visit your favorite MA or SP to get a nice body rub... Because she may catch it aswell! If you feel sick, tell her about it. She'll be able to take the decision of meeting you or not. If so, she'll be able to get prepared. Ventilate the room, have some products as Purell and desinfectants ready, even special products to treat you good, who knows? But it is important to tell her, so she does'nt catch it and not be able to work, or even worst, pass it over... Please, let's not be sick toghetter...
Megan'sTouch 23875 Report post Posted January 7, 2011 I agree. If you are even slightly sick, please cancel. I won't be upset! I would much rather lose 1 clients than be off work for 10 days. I also cancel even if it's "just a cold" because I don't think it's fair to expose people to my sickness. People might be a little bummed out, losing the appointment, but not as bummed out as they would be if I made them sick!
Cowboy kenny 50799 Report post Posted January 7, 2011 Agreed, unfortunately I had to cancel a number of appointments at the end of last month as I was fighting a cold that has since developed into pneumonia! I felt bad about canceling but I wasn't at my best and certainly wouldn't want to knowingly give my cold to someone else.
Carrie Moon 68826 Report post Posted January 7, 2011 This is my first winter not getting super sick.. I credit it with vit D, oregano oil at the first sign of any symptoms and practically eliminating refined sugar from my diet.
Dorinda Bloom 44036 Report post Posted January 7, 2011 Agreed, 'tis the proverbial season! Colds and sniffles are best left to yourself. However, if you were wanting to pretend to be sick for a little TLC from your fantasy nurse.....well, that is another thing altogether! ;) Seriously though...some things are not that sexy to share . colds being right up there!
