The high cost of life due to the isolation and the small size of the community would make it hard for someone to advertise those kind of services while remaining anonymous. As there's a fair amount of poverty, I can only assume this kind of exchange happens with more discreet word to mouth. The local bar could be a better place to find services or inside information.
