So, as much as CL had its down side, at least there were constantly updated ads. Today there are a few posting here on cerb, and EC has the same 20 or so ads it has always had.

 

Where are all the ladies advertising now???

 

As a guy who enjoys a lot of variety, I'm finding it tougher since CL went down.

Some observations for you ...

 

- I'm not sure the administrators on this site will appreciate you asking for other sources to find ladies.

 

- You say you like variety you have plenty (hundreds) of ladies to choose from on cerb.

 

- Don't forget some ladies have their availability in their profiles or websites so they may have not posted yet but may be available.

 

- Finally, Sundays start a little later for most people.

Perhaps my comment, may be a bit uncalled for, but here goes:

 

In my opinion the ladies you should want to meet & spend time with are here on CERB....yes, the other list had plenty of updated ads but many were individuals who posted the SAME ad consistently and.or like 5 times a day!!! Those for sure you will have difficulty finding them as those postings did not cost them anything AND they were not moderated.

 

The legit ladies, again IMO, are not afraid to be part of a MODERATED site....If they choose not to be, well to me that says ALOT..( I am not referring to the ladies on the DND/DNR list, that is something completely different, as a lady should have the choice to ensure that details about her & her services are not discussed, however, most of these ladies on the DND/DNR list are established & on other escort advertisment sites ,which they pay$ for)

 

Sure there may be a few good ones out there, whom only advertise once in a while, who do it only on occasion...but as someone who advertised plenty on the the list....I openly admit I would read the other ladies ads & had a very good idea of who's who on there...and from what I see now, most (NOT ALL) but most of the ladies ad's who you do not seem to see around right now are the ladies who have been on the cowboys list for some reason or another OR who do not want to take part on a moderated site.

 

There are a bunch of ladies who were never part of this site before, and have joined since the closing of the list, AND they have been obtaining some really nice recs too...there are many, many great ladies to choose from on here, why take the risk ( especially if you have never met them)

I think any suggestion that everything can be found on cerb can be answered with the same type of retort when asking a SP why they advertise on those other sites or, formerly, craigslist. There are many girls on cerb that have used CL in the past and are starting to frequent the alternatives as well.

 

Also, to assume that every person that is not on cerb advertising elsewhere is a reason to fear for level of service or personal safety, is as short sighted as someone dismissing all SP's as being drug addicts, mentally ill, etc.

EC is great for ladies that work nearly full time as their ad is up on an on-going basis. CERB is great for ladies that work part time and can post when they are available. Unfortunately for many part time ladies they find a full-fledged bulletin board like CERB to be big and confusing to use. They have to create an account, find and update their user profile, they have to create albums and upload pics, then they have to find the announcement threads and post. There is a place in this business for sites with very simple interfaces where ladies can just post up an ad and a pic in one simple action when they are going to be working.

 

Many gents also prefer sites that are completely anonymous which they can view endlessly without needing to create an account that could possibly be traced back to them.

 

CL met such a requirement. The fact that it was unmoderated was a big downside. There is no reason such a site cannot have moderation. There are a few other sites but as has been mentioned it is not respectful to the owners of this site to mention them. However with further research I'm sure you'll find them.

My thoughts on the CL style is that it usually gave an illusion of choice, of choice that actually isn't there. As mentioned the same advertisers posting several times a day isn't variety, it is just a lot of ads by the same people day after day. It also (no offense!) made the viewers lazy. They couldn't figure out that someone who didn't place an ad today was still actually available today, because they didn't see her ad. Considering the flagging, ghosting and account blocking, it was sometimes impossible to get an ad up there, and due to that announcement reliance, she would be assumed to be off that day when nothing could be further from the truth.

 

I would like the time to come where the viewers/clients do not expect a daily announcement, and do discover that an ad placed a week ago is still an ad for a working sp lol. When all the ads were in the weekly newspapers, nobody picked up a paper that came out on Friday and decided on Monday that the ad was no longer valid lol.

I agree with Pete, you asked a question and the response was pretty much unanimous, stick with Escorts Canada and CERB.

 

CL and other venues like it are really more trouble than they are worth... the same variety and range of prices and services exist here and on EC and the opportunity to interact with the providers is a huge bonus. On the surface the unmoderated free sites may appear to have more quantity but as Vanessa so aptly put it , mostly due to over posting. Those sites are more quantity over quality.

 

Spend a little more time here and you'll soon discover the variety and options you are seeking.

If we were to look only with in the limits of the listed sites above there are a lot of ads, and profiles for these ladies to wade through. For a newbie or someone not computer savy it is quite daunting, and hard to navigate. It takes time to learn and find where to locate this information, not everyone has the time to find this information. The same could be said for some of the ladies posting in the alternate places as well, no time or not computer savy and such.

 

I am not debating the need or the value of CERB, it is clearly very valuable and needed. CK's diary is another value resource available to the hobbiest as well.

 

Before the internet, or any board where was this hobby? There are those out there that still require access to the basic ads on both sides of the hobby each for their own reasons. All of this is just a small part of the reason why the alternates to CERB community do exist.
