scribbles 6031 Report post Posted January 24, 2011 Interesting but abundantly slanted one hour investigative report tonight about illegal prostitution and underage trafficking on CNN tonight. Clearly produced pre-CL closure, and they seem to take credit for it. No idea if credit is deserved. Personally, I feel that they muddy the real issue of underage trafficking by using it to imply that all aspects of the adult industry are responsible for it. Most inappropriate advertising of all time? A show about underage sex trafficking interrupted by advertisements for Viagra and arthritis meds. Seriously. Guest c17mover Report post Posted January 24, 2011 I watched it and I found they over used the I-Pad in the show forgot that I was watching a documentary instead it seemed like a demo of that product. The music etc made it very biased. However I think the point made about the flagrant abuses by some in reference to the underage issues made a point. scribbles 6031 Report post Posted January 27, 2011 I think what annoyed me the most was the overdone and gratuitous show of making faces and retching when she was answering the phone, and so on. That, and the fact that the equated the use of "sweet" and "innocent" in ads to mean "underage". Simply too many exaggerations and conclusions being jumped to. I fully agree, though, that the abuse and underage pimping is terrible and should be stopped.
