Mars_Bound 110 Report post Posted April 23, 2008 I am having a debate with my friend from Europe. She says women do not shave their genitalia. I say thats not true. She believes that ordinary women (librarians, teachers, nurses, University Professors e.t.c) do not shave their genitalia only the younger ones, strippers, service providers or porn stars do. In Canada/North America is it common for regular women to shave their genitalia, if not completely shaven at least some shaving? What percentage of women (30 years old and up ) shave their genitalia and what would be the reasons they would do so? This purely for academic reasons. Thanks in advance for your reply. dreamer8 510 Report post Posted April 23, 2008 Mars, In my limited experiance with non working woman over 30 I would guess most (80%) trim shave or lazer their pelts from a little to completly gone. I have found more hair on younger woman (which I would help them with before we began) than on older woman who know how much better it feels for both of us when trimed and shaved properly. In north america excessive hair on men or woman in a multitude of places is considered unsightly almost like a hair phobia.

MB From my friends and ex girlfriends I can say that most women will do some trimming at the very least, most do a clear cut. Mind you in Europe, many women don't even shave their armpits, which are in view, so why bother with parts that are "not" Cheers !
antlerman 17064 Report post Posted April 23, 2008 Most women...no matter what age or occupation trim or shave their pubes in North America.....even in South America.....is is just an acceptable practice here. European women on the average do not...it is just a cultural difference. I can say that I have never run across a woman here that does not modify their pubes. Capital Hunter 18263 Report post Posted April 23, 2008 I have strong attraction to unshaved (but clean) female genitalia, however, find it very difficult to find among SPs, Nude Dancers or even girls at dance bars. I have been cruising Strip bars for years and have seen thousands of nude dancers in various cities and I would say that less than 1% are unshaved (mind you I think in western provinces like Alberta (Edmonton in particular) the percentage is higher). Whenever I plan to ask a dancer of my liking for private dances (that is the girl coming over to my place for an hour or more of nude private dances), I have to ask her to please please not to shave for a week to let a bit of hair to grow on her genitalia (which means I have to on many ocassions schedule the dance for the weekend after). I do prefer shaved armpits and legs though. Any unshaved SP (or your girlfriend) out there who is reading this, please PM me. We will have a definite date (private dances, FS, etc.). ekimout 188 Report post Posted April 23, 2008 I have to admit I shave as well, for years now. The women I've been with appreciated the cleaner look and feel. I've received better oral because of it. I would be interested to know what the ladies thoughts are about the men shaving?
cat 262460 Report post Posted April 23, 2008 "To bare or not to bare", that is the question! I agree that every woman I know, save one, grooms. With the onslaught of laser hair removal clinics, it is now becoming a given that women will no longer be the slave of the razor, and are finding the pleasures increasing. Having discussed this extensively with women, this simple option has opened up a whole new world for us. As for my preference in men, it depends on the type of hair, anything coarse, curly or prickly should go, as it really can effect the outcome of a rendezvous. One should never wince while walking away from a playdate. On the other hand, unless you are willing to maintain it impeccably, don't bother. I'd rather have long down under than prickles. Big fun is to shave together before hand....

freestyleswimmer 100 Report post Posted April 24, 2008 "To bare or not to bare",................ Big fun is to shave together before hand.... As long as no straight razors are involved. One slip and it's "to p or not to p".
cat 262460 Report post Posted April 24, 2008 Not if you have the touch, straight razors have their place and a certain flair seldom seen anymore. Retired mine, but bring it out when someone deserves the pampering barbershop experience. When detailing a coin purse I prefer the newer multiblades, the results are amazing. What I think most men don't know, is there is whole line of "after the shave" products to prevent razor burn, and the potential breakouts later. They need to be repackaged and marketed as unisex, I think it would encourage more men to indulge. Shaving is an activity that is far more fun shared! Joyful_Jillian 102 Report post Posted April 24, 2008 I'd like to weigh in on this one. Having lived in Europe for awhile (six years) I noticed lots of chicks in my travels who didn't shave anything, including their legs. I always admired how comfortable they were with it all. It's definitely a cultural issue though. Chicks on the continent tended not to shave while the ones in Britain where I lived shaved their legs and pits, but not their pubes. Few chicks I met in England shaved their pubes. I'm a fairly smooth girl anyway, so it's never been much of an issue. I'm one of those who has never needed to shave her legs - EVER. I got my pits waxed a few times years ago, and the hair just never grew back. And I only need to shave my pubes about once a week. The little bit of hair that grows in between times is light and soft - no one ever seems to mind! So here's the answer, for academic purposes: everyone in my circle of friends, male and female, either shaves or trims. So do all of my clients (so far anyway). Here's my viewpoint: Personally, I like a clean landing strip. It's just way more pleasant to deliver pleasure when there are no long hairs or stubble to irritate. As Cat said, it depends a lot on the texture of the hairs. Cat - have you had laser done? Does it hurt (much) ? I'm a wussie about pain. Kisses, JJ

antlerman 17064 Report post Posted April 24, 2008 Even though this thread has varied off the original topic...it is still interesting.... As for the straight blade....if you have never had a shave (facial) with some one who knows how to do it..then you are missing a treat. The feeling after a shave like that is refreshing and fantastic......that old 5pm shadow will not return till the next morning.... And if Cat is still doing that....mmmmm...I may just have to go see her again.
cat 262460 Report post Posted April 24, 2008 Darling Jillian, I have the girl! She is incredible, and it makes everything SO SOFT, it's amazing. After a treatment I walked arounds with my hands in my panties for days. LOL. As for the pain, it's relative. I had a full brazilian, and it's sensitive, but I have toys with more voltage so it wasn't a problem. It's just a different atmosphere for current play. I left a buffer above, but everything else to the small of my back is now like silk. Would do it again in a heartbeat. I will PM you her details. Now is a good time because they have an offer for great packages and with hair like yours it won't take long. Catherine, xoxo
cat 262460 Report post Posted April 24, 2008 Antlerman, What you need is a breakfast rendezvous! It includes complete grooming, shave, and the ever delicous shower, then moves on to breakfast in bed with a send off to the office that will leave you smiling all week! It's just a great way to start the day, and can get going as early as needed so you get to office with no one the wiser. Keep it in mind.. MB Just thought I would add my 2 cents because after reading the posts no one seems to have given a personal reason Why? they shave, besides it being a cultural thing. I image that it is a personal issue for everyone, my reason, to me having hair stick out the sides of your bikini or thong or whatever just seems unsightly to me on me personally, but that of course is my own reason for shaving. :)
freestyleswimmer 100 Report post Posted April 24, 2008 As for the straight blade....if you have never had a shave (facial) with some one who knows how to do it..then you are missing a treat. Oh! I did have one of those back in 1972, the afternoon of my wedding night. Since it was a "facial" I had no fear then of being emasculated. My ex took care of that for the following 20 years or so. :( And if Cat is still doing that....mmmmm...I may just have to go see her again. So might I (but I'll have to be very careful whenever I'm in the Mall. There's a Barbershop there and I might embarrass myself publicly if they're stropping a razor as I walk by.) Guest LilaTraviata Report post Posted May 12, 2008 I shaved, once, just after high school. The smooth skin was nice, but the regrowth made me swear to never shave again. My hair is quite strong, and shaving only made it more resilient. I applied depillitory a few times in the following years, but the effort just never lastd long enough. When I got into escorting, I finally took the plunge, and paid some pros to wax me near bare. The pain. So worth it. I really started to appreciate it when I took a shower. I just could not keep my hands off myself! So, I am bare save for a spade shaped buffer, and I love it!
