drlove 37204 Report post Posted April 13, 2018 In light of new laws being passed in the US concerning this industry and the seizure of Backpage, would a board such as ours be at risk as well? E.g.(We're under the .com domain, and the site does feature advertising...)

SimoneLorzielle 1020 Report post Posted April 27, 2018 We will most likely be Ok on all of our boards as long as they aren't US hosted and also, that was an act sanctioned by the state in the US not Canada. Different country, different laws. We are outside of FOSTA/SESTA's jurisdiction. However, there are some ramifications that we will obviously have to deal with as the effects of which trickle to us unfortunately.
Biggdipper 1050 Report post Posted May 1, 2018 I would guess it would all depend on the location of the host server and the citizenship of the owners
