What should a client think?

I wonder if other received that kind of messages and what should I think? It's not the first time. It did happened few other times from an other member saying another SP really stank and she was uggly... My feeling told me to ignore it, but I'm getting freaking tired of these freaking people' Pms.

What should I think about this harassment?

I am not sure what AL is asking here? It sounds like he asked about a girl and someone PM'd him to warn him (but) on the other hand it sounds like someone is harassing him (If that is the case you should send ME -TheMOD- a PM to let me know)

 

Are you getting unsolicited ads in your PM ? This is also not permitted here and you should let me know as I will warn the SP that this is not allowed and possibly give them a infraction or suspension for doing this.

Mod I think it's a good thing to post this to find out if I'm the only one and I'd like to know what the other members think about it. I even had a PM from a guy last week who wanted me to join a sect. I don't think it's the same people but I still wonder. Unfortunately I don't know this agency, but I'd like to know if they are trying to full me or not?

Did you ask for information about this person or did PIKE email this to you unsolicited? If it was unsolicited then chances are it should not be taken seriously and should be reported to ME immediately so I can review the account and pull it if they are doing this. I checked the PM stats on this user (PIKE) and it does not show anything that should concern me at this time for mass emails but you need to let me know immediately when you think this is happening as the sent PM stats are purged.

I do remember seeing this message sent to me awhile back. I thought it was a member sending out info on a deal he received from this girl. Why I was chosen? I have no idea. I just ignored the message and deleted it.

Al, I received the same PM, I deleted it but I think was on another board. The sender, IMO, was simply trying to help the SP cut out the agency she was working for. My gut tells me she was stuck in Ottawa and the agency was not sending her nearly enogh clients so the guy was doing some PR for her, as well as passing along a review\recommendation to fellow members via PM. Presumably it had to be discrete as she was cutting out the agency.

 

IMO it is debatable whether or not her methodology of cutting out the agency is ethical, but I suppose one would have to know the whole story before passing judgement.

I don't think this was the agency, from the sounds of the PM the person was trying to undermine the agency (That is why I removed the references to this agency from the public post here). If it happens again please (EVERYONE) pm me and let me know... we do not want this site being used for this type of thing.

 

Unsolicited marketing using the PM system here is reason to be banned.

Since it is me you are all referring to, i will clarify. I happened to meet this great GFE sp who was based in ottawa for a few weeks. She was working both as an Indy and with 3 different Agencies. I met her as an indy. I sent people who have contributed a lot to this Board, info about her as an Indy(lower price). I didn't want to post a general review in case she would figure out my handle.

So much for helping out my fellow CERBites. On the other unmentionable Ottawa Board it is common practice to share info privately. Sorry to all of you who were offended. Don't bother pming me for info as she has returned to Montreal where I'm sure she continues to provide stellar Montreal style GFE.

Hi Pike, when you send unsolicited PM's you change from being helpful to giving the appearance that you are trying to market her yourself (or) for someone else. Either way it looks like spam (unsolicited advertising) as opposed to a good recommendation. If you wanted to help a post would have been a good idea with a comment to PM You for her personal contact info.
