status4 790 Report post Posted July 3, 2018 Not really, lots of girls from the Maritimes travel back and forth between Halifax and New Brunswick for example, often times they live in New Brunswick and come down here to work on a regular basis, sometimes for longer periods, so seeing the 506 area code is common, they aren't going to buy a new mobile phone just because they may be here temporarily. There are other things to look for more important then just the area code they are using, although Googling a phone number can often raise concerns about an ad, just having a number other then 902 in itself is not automatically a concern.
